WHATS HAPPENING FRIDAY
We were told yesterday that the van guy would come after us this morning to come and get out truck well, it is almost 1pm and even after 3 calls to them to see when they are coming , nothing not a call back or anything. I am about ready to get on the phone. Joe is just to nice. They think because he doesn’t sound mean they can just tell him anything and that it will be ok....well it isn’t. we have been ready since 10:30 or so waiting and still nothing.
We would ride the trike over and then I could drive the truck back but it keeps raining really hard ever once in awhile and that isn’t fun on a tike, bike or anything open .have you ever held your arm out the window when you were driving in the rain? Know how that can sting? Well try that with your whole body out there lol ....not a lot of fun.and even with a rain suit isn’t fun..
Im also waiting for the call that another GREAT grandbaby is born...Kims sister Melissa, is in labor right now. The last time Kim called she said that she was dilated 6 cm. and was having pretty good contractions...Kim is excited because she said she was so trilled that she got to be up there with her while she is having her first one. ....She was concerned because her sister doesn’t handle pain really well. Or never did when they were young. Lol but she said she seemed be doing better than she had thought she would.
If she hadn’t had it by tomorrow morning they were going to put her in hospital and induce labor ...which isn’t really good since I think the percentage is something like 90% of labors that are induced wind up being C sections. ...anyway im excited this make my 4th great grandbaby....they are so much fun now...
The driver from Tri lakes finally came for us at 4:30 this afternoon ,,,,hmmmmlate enough that the service dept would be gone and we couldn’t complain about it to them...Joe had to go to the Sales dept and pay thru them and get his keys. ...but I do intend to let the manager know how long it took and how many times they more or less lied to us about things.
Anyway another piece of bad news found out that my medicare program denied me for the belly skin removal....Sharron was telling me what it would cost to pay cash for it and I told her that if I were going to use my own money for some plastic surgery it would be on my face not my belly so I guess it will be alright lol will have to be. I really don’t have that much if I wear my blouse on the outside lol
I will get my knee done and then will exercise , walk and walk and walk...surely I can lose some more weight ...
Just got a phone call from Kim my granddaughter , she is in Indiana visiting her sister who is having a baby today....little girl weighted 8 pounds 10 oz big baby girl...took her quite a while but she did good...everyone is ok....her name is Lily Rose ...hope to get to see her soon , she makes the 4th Great Grandchild. Wow....never thought when I was a kid that I would live long enough to ever see Great Grandkids. Lol
Hey I may live long enough to see Great GrandKids you know. Say 18 more years yeah I could live that much more , probably will lol
POOH I am thinking of getting a mattress pad heating pad...i use to have one but couldn’t stand laying on those wires lol have they changed them any now?
The acorns around here are falling like crazy , across the street and behind us is a oak tree right besides metal car ports. Sounds like a war zone.. lol
Yeah fall is coming earlier ...usually around the last of Oct before we get all of what we are right now. Looks like winter will be here soon. Brrrrrrr. But I will be heading to AZ that much sooner lol

Are you still working two jobs like you use to? That is hard to do really ...i know I did it for years , while I was raising my 3 kids by myself.

Lol I can just see Paul carrying that calf around....he is big enough to do it tho.....just make sure if he starts talking about an elephant you put your foot down lol
How is the rooster doing ? I just hate them and their noise....all of that puffing up and yelling. Just don’t see any sence in them actually...only reason is if you want to raise little baby chicks and I don’t. but lots of people like to have the rooster around. Just to hear him crow. Do you think Paul will have him on his shoulder before long .
How are you liking your new shoes? I am wanting to get me some of them too.
LOU where are you going to in AZ? I mean what area?but you wont be there when we are lol . did you grow up in AZ? I know you are super busy and I really appreciate you taking it for these two months. Maybe Andy will be willing to take it for awhile. If .

So what do those other doctors say about Jon , he is still having the same problems hasn’t that gone on too long. Bless his little heart. Do they think it is not real or what?the last time you were on you said they said something about it being something wrong with his prostrate. Did they ever do the ct scan or Mri or what ever ???Do you think it could possible be stress related with him.? I know he loves school but could still be stress since this is his first time on his own....i am praying for him. And for you too sweetie ...i sure wish you lived a little closer to me....Hey I know I will come over and stay with you for a few days and we will get that sale set up ...how would that be. Maybe we could get several of us to come over one day and get it set up....hey do you have a deep freeze for sale in that stuff? Love you so much and wish I could help you more. Please come to the meeting this month if at all possible.
How is Mike doing , any improvement on that ?Just know that you all are in mine and Joes prayers. If it were possible I really would adopt all of you. Lol

Mike is now driving a cab for a second job and has been doing so for quite some time. The hours are very bad though. He works 5 to sometimes 6 days a week and he might not get home til midnight most nights. They aren't paid hourly... just 40% commission on their fares and if it is slow... well you see where that goes.... not much to show for being away from home all that time... but when money is this tight you have to do what you have to do.
Our eldest has moved back in with us as of the latter part of July. He lost his job and is now concentrating on trying to get his VA rating/disability. He was injured badly over in Iraq and is now out of the service. He tried to go through the KC office to get his VA but the larger offices are not user friendly if you know what I mean... basically he never got it all done... so all this time he could of been receiving treatment/benefits he has gotten nothing. We took him in to the Fort and got the process started correctly and he has already had several appts. He went through the complete medical eval a few weeks ago and we are waiting for a rating appt. now. Poor kid really had it bad over there and continues to suffer with the medical issues that were caused by the explosions that he was in. They have already said that he will DEFINITELY get benefits....we just don't know what his rating will be yet... everyone say some prayers....
With him back, his baby, and our youngest our house is once again bulging at the seams and of course money is incredibly tight..... we are just working, believing and believing somemore....lots of trials are being placed in front of us and I am doing my best to keep a positive outlook!
Can't wait to get the flowers.... was just teasing you on being part of the 11....*s*....

Jan I feel your pain with the truck. My air/heat when out on my car and it took them 3 weeks to get the part. I had to drive my moms car all that time. She drove Jade's car. She said it wasn't a problem but it made me crazy. I finally got it back last Thurs. Very thankful to have it back. I took it to one place they "fixed it" I drove it 5 blocks and it quit working and they were like well it worked when you left. I was so mad, I didn't just spend 700$ to drive 6 blocks, I wanted to climb over the counter and get the guy by the hair, but I didn't LIL They finally gave me my money back and I took it to a friend of my dad's that fixed it right up for far less money. Oh yes Mimi I LOVE the shoes! Thera Shoes at K~Mart. They are doing great on the gravel too... and the souls are straight down so I am not falling over my own feet... and the impact to my feet is so much better ... I didn't even get blisters at all! These are the only pair that I have not gotten them as I was breaking a new pair in... it is great... I will keep with these for as long as I can get them... not sure how much good it is doing for my back yet but the other benefits are well worth it! If you watch the Sunday paper... you can get these on a good sale.
Do you have any Zinnia seed that is compact to the ground? Even my dwarf seeds grew tall and spindly... I have seen some beautiful ones that were real full and fairly short?
I went over yesterday to the neighbor that I gave a plant (balsam) to that I started from your seed and got seeds off hers I wanted the fuchsia and the fuchsia and white inveragated. Also got the fuchsia hibiscus seeds too... going to try and start a new bush of those next spring as well.
Had to laugh about the comments about Paul's "kids" they really are like kids to him... ours are all grown and doing their own thing and this keeps Paul occupied out there playing around. Theo... aka "Fryer", the rooster, has already tried to take what he thinks is his "rightful" place... just makes me disgusted! ~tee hee But Tess won't let him near her... she puffs up her feathers when he comes around and when she does that she is bigger than the rooster! I LOVE IT! After all she has been the boss out there all this time! ~tee hee Will have to keep you all informed of the drama! ~ha
Have to run to town and take care of some errands today...

Kirksville has its big RED BARN ARTS & CRAFTS FAIR tomorrow and I am on call again. I hope I don't get called in as I have a grave side service for my Aunt who died last year and we are finally laying her ashes to rest. Then an older lady who was so sweet passed and her services are tomorrow morning and I would really like to attend her visitation.
Still do not have my canning supplies put away yet as I have to redo about 18 jars of hot pepper jelly as it has not set up. This will be the 3rd time - I don't know what I am doing wrong but will keep at it until it sets!!!
I had to laugh at the bike pump idea for the girls - I think that we should just roll the tube socks up and stuff them in as best as we can...
Yes - I still see myself as fat and I guess I always will. I am leveled out at 155 pounds so far. I would be more comfortable at 160 to 170 but I can't seem to get there. I have so much loose skin and am spending a fortune in lotions but I am starting to put baby oil on after my shower and will see how that works. I did it this am and it feels great. Got yeast in my belly button - so am having to apply monistat etc... to it and the Dr. Suttmoeller suggested that if I am going to do anything that will cause me to sweat around my waist band to apply an antiperspirant to my belly button before getting all sweaty... He told me that that causes it - just something else I have to add to my to do list. Got to hit wally world to restock my vitamins etc.. as I only have a couple of days supply left. It's never ending.
