WHATS HAPPENING SUNDAY

Went to a CMA rally today in Crane down by the creek. Was really nice day for it... we went up into Crane too and went thru all the antique shops . I thought I had found a really pretty small island for my kitchen but it was already sold.  Darn....may have to make one myself. Lol

There were a lot of bikes all over the town of Crane. Meant a little bit of money in their pockets I would imagine....

Since it was close to where Kim , my granddaughter lives she and her hubby came over there with the kiddos , just love those sweeties to pieces. They saw us and started running and yelling  Mimi,,,,Joe Joe , Mimi   Joe joe....got lots of hugs and kisses ,,,,,Mikaela the 2 year old hugged me and said[ Mimi  I love you guys.= Lol she is a hoot. Talks so plain and can carry on a conversation like a grown up lol well a literal , funny adult....

Someone gave her a balloon filled with gases and I told her do you want me to tie it around your wrist so you wont lose it.  she said    No Thank you I really don’t want it around my wrist if I let it go I can catch it .....which of course she proceeded to do and no she didn’t catch it. ...bu****ched it go up and up and said well I sent that into outer space. Lol

Can you tell im smitten with that little girl....she is so cute and so smart, so much like her mama was when she was little. ....s o nice to have great grandbabies, they are even more fun that the grandbabies were. When my grandbabies were little I was always working and never had a lot of time and when I did have the time I was too tired to do any playing with babies. Now I love to take care of them and be with them ....i can really appreciate them ...

Lou sounds like you all had a great garage sale ....i wonder if Sugar made it to it. She goes to garage sales all the time, all over.

Lou do you have email addresses of any new people that have come to the meetings? If so send them to me and I will add them to the list, I can go ahead and send the emails out about the meetings. Just write it up what you want to say and I will send it out ....how does that sound? So send the new email addresses ok

Yeah you would really be surprised at Bec she is beautiful , of course she doesn’t think so  and she cant see that she has lost lots of weight. She said that she can see it in pictures but when she looks in the mirror she cant see it. I told her that is like everyone...i still have trouble with that some....today my youngest granddaughter who just turned 11 wanted one of the t shirts they had for sale at the Rally today so I bought her one. She tried them on and had to get a large. Of course it was over her clothes then she wanted me to get one too and I started to get a large too and the lady there said I don’t think you will need a large mam...unless you want it really big and loose. My granddaughter thought that was funny that I wore a medium and she wore a large. Of course she is young enough to think that is funny now. She is a large child, she isn’t really fat but hopefully she will slim down as she gets older. She is very athletic....

Cor welcome back ...yeah you need to get you a laptop that is wifi ready and can probably pick up some wifi there without having to get any wired in internet.

I agree that the managers job there is a really good job....i did that for 10 years. Loved it. have thought about going back to work for them , they have told me that any time I want to come on back...i almost did about 5 years ago...but I was so fat that I was too tired and hurt way to bad at that time.

Joe and I when we worked there had no home or anything to have to pay and we saved all sorts of money after we got all our bills that we had owed paid off. ....

I hope you get it if that is what you want.....usually an employee that has been there for awhile , if they want it , can usually get it.

So what kind of goodies did you get at the auction.  Will keep you in my prayers that the job is yours.

Love all of you guys. Good grief 45 people read yesterdays post and only 2 posted ??????? sort of funny isn’t it? come on lurkers , come out and play we wont bite I promise . at least not hard ....wish you all would post tho. Would love to see who all you are.

Ok, I'm guilty of lurking, but I love to read what ya'll are doin and sometimes just can't think of anything to say.

Jan I can tell you that the bits and pieces of advice I get from reading the what's happening posts really are helpful. Right now I'm pretty much isolated, so the OH message board gives me contact with others that have walked this path I'm.

I'm planning on going to the next group meeting on 9/28. I really look forward to meeting everyone.
