RE: Wake up call
Hi everybody on the Missouri board. Well last week my husbands cardiologist explained to us what his ex-cardiologist never would and I got a good scare, especially since he has been having trouble breathing, and not just a mild trouble. I've had heart failure and I know what that kind of shortness of breath feels like, his was very labored and he couldn't even inhale enough to get the nebulizer into his lungs, I was scared to death because the medications they were giving him for bronchitis wasn't helping.
Went to our PCP yesterday, and explained to her about the problems he was having she gave him a nebulizer medications that helps the breathing and put him on steriods to reduce the inflamation in his bronchials. Then she read the cardiologists notes to us and the good news is his heart is stable right now and if he needs to have the valve repairs done he would be a good candidated. So now I can relax and concentrate on getting my surgery.
Thank-you for your prayers, it sure does help to post your fears or problems and have so many people respond with words of hope and caring.
Hope you get your surgery soon and can get on the downside of this weight hill. we are all pulling for you and are here if you need us.
