Surgery tomorrow 6:30AM

Just arrived in Sedalia to spend the night.  UP at 6:30 am for my WLS by Dr. H.  He is
so good.  Am so excited.  Hope to be off diabetes and other 10 meds tomorrow.
Have followed all the rules so every thing will be fine.  About to start the first
day of the rest of my life.  I'm 66 and hope to add about 20 plus years to my life.
Keep me in yours thoughts.

welcome to the club Nancy....i was 65.5 when i had my surgery and i am 3 years out. and feel like i will be going till im 100 ...lol but dont bet against me ....lol   i think we older ladies , we may lose slower but we are more able to follow rules ...will be thinking of you there in Sedalia tonight , you should have come up early on Wednesday and had lunch with us when we were there.  Dont you just love Dr. H? he and Margie both are so nice and they are never too busy to be helpful...and when you leave the hospital he will give you his home phone in case you have some problems so he is with you all the time.   i will be praying for you and just remember to Keep your eyes on the prize.

Wish we had come on Wed too.  I have been reading this site since Feb and have benefited
from your advise and experience to so many people.  You are part of the greatest support
group .  Thank you so much .

Yes, I love Dr. H and Margie.  Couldn't ask for a better team .  I went to two seminars and found
them to be the most passionate and caring directed to people begging for help.  I do beliee
they have our best interest at heart.  They left few question for this question person to ask.
They won my trust, Hands down..

My eyes are INDEED,  on the prize.  You're a Gem!!!!!

YAY Nancy!!  I followed everything to the "T" also, and it DID help, all went well.  You will have a few sore days, but it will pass.  With that attitude you will do GREAT!!!

I'm not that far behide you.  I will celebrate every physical and hunger pain.  Maybe
that will help me get over the guilty feeling that this body and bad health is all my fault.  I
really feel like it's an addiction to food.  I stopped smoking in February and now am improving
my health six months later.  Thanks for your encouraging words.
