WHATS HAPPENING TUESDAY

 

 

Hope you all had a great Labor day today. We didn’t do much of anything ....I though we were going to go fishing some today but . Joe wound up putting in a new outside door on the back of the rental house. We will have to buy a new lock for it when we go to town tomorrow ..

Tomorrow morning we have to go and get our insurances all set up for the next year. We have 4 policies and they are all due at totally different dates and times frames. Want them all done at the same time....and put together if possible ...

 

Then after than we will be heading for Sedalia and to see Dr. Hornbostel  and see what he has to say....it has really bothered me that he told me he wanted to see me down to 130 pounds before I had surgery well im not anywhere near there but wear size 10s if I got down to 130 I would be wearing 4/6s and I think that is way to small for my frame. I have really big bones so I know that a 4 would be too small for me to be.

The only time I ever wore less than a 8 was when I was really really sick back in the late 60s and I was down to about 135 pounds and looked like a walking skeleton. No more don’t want to look like that. And im sure it would look worse now since im a lot older . anyway....want to talk to him about that and also about the cramps in my muscles ....and about the fact that I cant eat anymore at one time than I did back when I was maybe 6 months out. Sometimes I can if it is real moist and maybe what they call sliders. Also see if he knows of something that I can take for my arthritis that will help more than aleve.

 

Then after seeing Dr. Hornbostel will leave and go on up to Beckys to spend the night with her...cant wait to get a big Becky hug....then Wednesday we will be going back down to Sedalia to meet up with whom ever shows up...i hope several appear that haven’t said anything ....Colette said she would be there and Cor is suppose to come and I know of a couple more that may be there. Hopefully we will have some surprises of some of your great people up at the late and in that area.

 

 

Bec  a squirrel ? drowned ? that is weird. They are so agile that they can get out of anything , I know that fountain wasn’t that deep....the little mole I could understand ...but a squirrel ....

I am really looking forward to seeing you and family too. will be great.

 

 

Lou what a neat picture of you and your son. You look too young to be his mother you know? Well I cant say I like rap music much but everyone to their own taste right? I know you had a great time..and how good was that about the new purse. I know you were really upset that you had to take a new one from the new line lol .

How great is that for the size 12s great girl.

 

Susie:lol I know your husband was talking about grandbabies when Sugar and I were up there. He is going to be ga-ga over them isn’t he? They will get away with murder.

So are you still working at the school? How many more weeks do you have to go?

Jo  sure am glad that you are enjoying your vacation...certainly wish you could still be off Wed so you could come meet up with us...

Did you get a new tv picked out? How do you like the new mp3 player. I have never had one of those yet....there are so many things that just keep coming out that if I  bought all of them I would have so much that I would be able to have a store of some kind. Lol

 

 

Traci   wow! Where in the world have you been....your new avatar is really cute. How is your iron levels..how are the kiddos and grandbabies.

I go and see Dr. H tomorrow for my 3 year checkup...so far I am doing ok I think...weight has stayed right around the same ...i hope you are back to stay I really need your insight on here with all your information and knowledge on Vits. Welcome back

 

 

Good morning to all.hope everyone had a nice labor day.i had to work.seem's like forever since i have been on here.work is going good for me.my dad is doing good.he really like's me working there.he sure does know where to come to get his coffee mug filled up.one of the male nurses bought him in a travel mug put his name on it and he bring's it to the kitchen all the time to be filled.

jan glad you and joe had a good sale.have a safe trip to sedila.we know thing's will go good at the doctor for you.

bec sound's like you have been really busy outside.hard to believe fall is almost here.the fog was bad here on sunday.when andy and i went to church sunday morning it looked pea soup.you could not see the houses or the street.

lou you do have a handsome son.he look's like you.you sure do not look old enough to have a son his age.we can hardly wait to see you at the meeting on the 28.cong on size 12 pant's.i have lost 2 more pound's.it sure is a good feeling whe we get on a scale.



jo your time off work is going to fast for you.how is the woman cave.wish we could see you sometime.

Good morning!  What a day yesterday, I think I have a bed sore from laying on the couch so much. LOL  I was just exhausted.  I feel much better today.  I've got to get cracking and get to the office.  Thanks for the compliments about my son.  He's a sweetie.  He looks older than 19 and everyone thinks we're married.  It mortifies him LOL  cracks me up when they say your wife and he says That's my MOM! too funny.  SUSAN your getting so skinny, I haven't seen you in months and we may need to wear name tags to recognize you and Andy. JO I hope you had a wonderful vacation! Jan, I've been busy with work (I still run my own business from home, but it keeps me busy!). My health is so-so. Keeping my iron and nutrient levels up where they need to be is more of a struggle than I care to admit. I'm allergic to every form of infusible iron (unfortunately) I'm now taking liquid iron to try and keep my levels up. My energy is low most days, but I keep going anyway. ;)

I'm actually on liquid forms of multivitamin, calcium w/ Vit. D, in addition to the liquid iron. I'm taking pills for everything else and weekly B12 shots, plus my protein shakes. This combo seems to be working better for me than anything else I've tried.

I've got two grandbabies now: Lilly just turned 2 yrs and Jude is 5 months. :) Everyone in the family is doing good!

Vacation is about over.  I have sure enjoyed it.  Didn't do much of anything, reading, scrapbooking and organizing my sewing room (woman cave).  Yesterday we went to Bass Pro Shop.  We aren't sportsmen but enjoyed seeing the displays.  The setting for the store is just beautiful.  Looks like you're out in the wilderness but it's located in Independence, MO.  I bought a T-shirt off the sale rack, size L, no X's for me.  Also bought a bag of pork rinds.  Haven't opened them.  Not sure I will like them.

We put a TV in layaway.  Can't wait to get it.  It's a 42".  I bought an MP3 player and worked on loading it with music.  Ran into a few snags there.  I'm sure it's operator error.  The instructions are in such small print I can hardly read them.

Today I'm going to scrapbook.  I plan to go work out at the gym.  I really need to do it but I can always find something else I'd rather do.

Only have a few minutes....am going to substitute teach 1/2 day at a local elementary school for the computer class.  Should be easy enough.

I'm sorry to say I won't be able to make it to Sedalia tomorrow!  My Mom has an appointment with her Worker's Comp Attorney tomorrow at 1pm.  We were going to go on Thursday, however, they called be to sub for 2 days this week...Thursday & Friday so I had to change her appointment for tomorrow.  Needless to say, I'm bummin'!

Hope everyone has a GREAT time tomorrow and try and remember "poor ole Debbie D" at the lawyer's office with her Mother!  lol
At least it looks like we're beginning to see some light at the end of this long worker's comp tunnel we've been in for over 4 years now!
