WHATS HAPPENING SUNDAY

 

Wow did we ever get the rain on Friday night  2 and ½ inches. It poured and I mean poured...

It stopped raining Sat morning about 7:30 and didn’t rain anymore all day, kept looking like it was going to but never did...

I sold a lot of stuff and when I got done wanting to work it put signs out that the rest was free lol you would have thought the stuff was gold lol I did pretty good for being way out here I think...

 

Everyone remember that Wednesday at 11am will be at Golden Corral in Sedalia. Hopefully we can get a back room so that we can sit around and talk , if it is pretty out and we want to stay awhile longer I guess we can go sit at the park and visit longer.

Hopefully a lot of you girls from up around the lake will show up too. would love to see you all. Susie get hold of some of them if you can and see if they will show up ...ok

 

Last night before bed I went out and looked at remains of garage sale , I don’t have a whole lot to get rid of...they pretty well cleaned it all out....thats good , I guess what they say one mans trash is another mans treasures....is true...

 

Andy does the rec plex have the program with medicare? That would be good if they do.

That is good that your rate come up when you exercise, it is just getting the energy to make yourself do it when you feel like that isn’t it? I know mind gets low sometimes and I know how you feel, it is sort of like making yourself walk thru heavy thick mud.

The sale was good .

 

Lou   cant picture you liking a Rap group , don’t mean anything wrong with it , just never featured you and rap together lol . Hope you had the best date ever with your son. It is great that you and he can do things like that together.

Let everyone know where your garage sale is and maybe some of us can get by to see you. Ok....i know what you mean about getting back money you spent on things. Isn’t it awful when you see some of the stuff that we have spent money on ? and especially when we sort of add it up it is awful.

 

Jo I know whatyou mean about pack rat....i guess I still am one. I try not to be but every time I get rid of things then it isn’t much later that I need it lol and wish I hadn’t gotten rid of it ....

Did you have your hubby to take your picture in your new black dress. Isn’t it amazing how good we can feel about ourselves when we know we look good.

Im so glad that you had fun , and now you realize that the food isn’t the most important thing in having a great time....i don’t know why we get that into our heads so much that everything we do has to have food associated with it. I told Joe that maybe we out to try having Thanksgiving dinner with only soup or something really simple ...doubt if any one would come lol

People that go to the gym all the time say the more you go the more you get movitated to go more. So I guess just do it. and then it will become a habit of sorts. 

 

Janet: first off I wanted to tell you im not ignoring you I just haven’t had the time to answer your email...love you and hope your week end is going well.

Poor little Jon, I have him in my prayers and hope that his problems will and can be controlled with meds. I know how you feel about putting yourself first it is a strange concept and know that I understand about taking care of Jon. But please keep your appointment with your gyn doctor to see what she says anyway ok...

I just am praying that you wont have to put yourself on the back burner for too long if at all. with the tests they are going to do on Jon it hopefully will show what is going on and give them a plan to work with.

Just know that a lot of people have you both in our prayers.

Hope you all have a good time camping this holiday week end. Im glad that we don’t go anywhere at all on holidays like this. Too crowded I know it is here at our place. It is like a mad house in this area. I told Joe we need a remote cabin in the woods somewhere to go to on holidays lol and get away from the lake here.

Oh wow I didn’t realize that Renees kids were still here. So what sort of work are they doing here to save money up to go back to California. I know places out there are horribly expensive. Well some more than others.... I can understand her reluctance to go off from that baby for sure.

Hello, Hello...

I have been really busy this weekend. Have been cleaning out clutter everywhere. I had a booth at a trade fair and closed it a few months ago. I have all the things from the booth plus things that either wouldn't sale or never got to the booth. Then there is the things in storage buildings....things I thought I might use again. LOL..never have, probably never will. Why do we have such a hard time getting rid of Stuff we don't need or use? I will be taking it all to an auction house on Tuesday. I have a 16 foot cattle trailer that is nearly full. They will earn their money but, I will be free of STUFF! LOL

I am planing on coming on Wednesday so, if Peggy or Debbie D or anyone else wants to get together please contact me. Would love to go together. Lots more fun!

I have everyone's needs in my prayers.

Can't believe it's Labor Day weekend.  Where did summer go??  Nice weather, little rain now and then.  Glad to have the AC off but those barking dogs almost made me close up the house and turn on the AC.  One dog gets all the others going.  I'm going to get the owner's house number and report them to the city. 

My SD's family is coming to dinner this evening.  Max is doing the chicken on the grill.  Baked beans are in the slow cooker.  They all love potatoes so I'm doing Cheesy Potatoes.  I made a Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake for dessert using low fat cream cheese and Splenda. 

The last 2 years I've had my kids over for a noon meal on Thanksgiving but I'm not doing that this year.  We go to my sister's or to Max's daughter's in the evening.  I would be happy going out to eat just the 2 of us.  I wind up cooking way too much and I'm worn out by dinner time.

Tomorrow we are going to Bass Pro Shop to look around then to KMart to put a flat screen in layaway.  We decided to buy ourselves a flat screen for Christmas so putting it on layaway will be perfect.  Maybe we'll go to Red Lobster for lunch to share.

I finally got something to clean my ceramic tile kitchen floor.  I tried it out a little while ago so tomorrow afternoon I'm going to do the whole floor.  Beleve me I couldn't have tackled the job before weight loss.

Jan, glad you got rid of so much of your stuff.

Janet, so sorry to hear about your son.  Do they make Depends for children?  I know it's got to be so embarassing for him.  Glad to hear the teacher is so understanding.
