Countdown to WLS on Friday 9/11

Today is Sunday.  I'm counting down til Friday  only 5 more days til surgery.  I'm having
a big problem.  Last Monday, woke up with terrible cold and went to see PCP on Wed.
She gave me Z pack and nasal spray.   I'm some better but it's now in my lungs.  What to
do.  Have done warm sal****er gargle and Nose irrigation w/ sal****er.  This has helped a lot.
What will I do if I still have trace of cold.  Afraid my surgery will be cancelled.  Help.  I'll
try anything.

are you still on your antibotics?  get some mucnex and take it asd often as you can.... usually if you arent running fever it wont delay your surgery....but get the mucnex and if that doesnt help in a day or two go to doctor and see if she can give you a breathing tx in her office. ...good luck...you are getting ready to go on an amazing journey....we will be waiting to hear from you...

So sorry to hear you have the cold... sure hope it gets better by Friday. The Mucinex really helps me too when I have the yuck.

Thanks for the info on mucinex.  Will get some tonite. 

Zpak the Dr gave me had done wonders along with gargling w/ warm sal****er and
nose doush w/ warm sal****er(my brothers old Yoga remedy).  It does wonders.
Nothing like old medicinal remedies.

I'm shure everything will be OK or Friday.  I'm really up for it.
