Dr. Hornbostel

 Does Dr. Hornbostel have a web site with information about his practice? Due to an insurance change I'm going to switch surgeons and I'd like to get some more info about this doctor.

Dr. Hornbostel performed my Gastric Bypass back in 3/07.  I LOVE Dr. Hornbostel.  He gives all his patients his home phone number when you leave the hospital.  I had to call him the night I got home because I had a 102 temp.  He answered the phone!  Since I lived 3 hours away from his office and I couldn't see my PCP till in the morning, his wife (Margie - who is also a nurse in his practice) found a pharmacy in town that was open late and he called in an antibiotic for me.  Dr. Hornbostel truly cares about your as a person, not just a patient!  He is wonderful!

I too had Dr. Hornbostel and i like everyone else think he is the very best. he really cares about his patients. they arent just a number to them....He and his wife are super in my book...

Here is the link to his profile on OH.  The best thing you can do it attend one of his free seminars.  It gives you tons of information and he does them himself so you get a chance to see him in action.  He is a really great guy.  It is also a requirement before surgery with him. 

I had my RNY in January 2007 by Dr Hornbostel I also have a co-worker who has.  I believe that he really treats all his patients as individuals and takes the time to make sure that the procedures and follow up care are the best for them.  His staff is all very nice and helpful. 

Would not have any hesitiation to recommend you go to Dr. Hornbostel.
