WHATS HAPPENING SATURDAY

Hey there I had a great day for my garage sale...it didn’t rain a drop here till about 3:30 so as most of you know that they quit coming around by then....any way had a pretty good day finanicially and got rid of a lot of things. Will do it again tomorrow if it doesn’t rain. God was good to let me play today and not rain I hope he will do it again for me tomorrow.

I met a lot of the people that live around here. That is always nice , met some from Forsyth and from West Plains they both just were out driving and saw our signs lol I think that is neat.

Almost all of the people that are from around here that came said they are having company this week end starting tomorrow and will tell them so they can come down to the sale. And several of my neighbors said if they had known we were having a sale they would have had one too so we have decide that we will all have one next year all at the same time...that might really be neat...and might bring in a big bunch more of people..especially if we advertise it a little .........like bullentins  on boards around town.

Andy are you feeling better? That low heart rate will make you so so tired ...they cant do anything to help you out some. That just doesn’t seem right does it. ?

Lana thanks for the prayers...it WORKED!!!! Lol I wonder why we are always surprised when prayers are answered. I had a great day...hope tomorrow turns out as good.

Susan I hope you had a good day off....hey maybe Andys low pulse rate he needs to do some running and get it going again. you want to borrow my b b gun I bet we can get him going that way...lol

Jo im with you on people that have dogs that bark, that makes me so mad, don’t they hear them???? There is no way I would have one that did that. We have one around here that is that way...the lady is at home and will let her dog out in the yard and it will spend all day out there barking barking ...makes me so mad...i have gone over to her place and ask her to take her dog into her house , and she will ask me why? When I tell her she says she didn’t hear her. Lol ...can you believe that? There are ways to break them of that but I guess some of them don’t care if it doesn’t bother them. Then why bother  ...

Lou  so who are you and gage going to see in concert? That sounds like fun to go to a concert with your son....

I too am getting rid of so much stuff that has just accumulated ,,,I don’t know where in the world it is coming from.

I swear that during the nights gremlins bring it in and leave it. some of this stuff I don’t know where in the world it came from lol

You know if you will notice it seems like when women have this weight loss surgery and get to losing weight they want all the other junk out of their lives.  Is that metaphorical or what ? .hope your garage sale turns out good too.

I am using some of my profits to get my hair cut and colored one day next week lol it is a mess ...

Jan funny you say I should get out there and run lol The doc yesterday said to increase my exercise some, no running though lol, that always helps to increase the heart rate.  Really nothing else they can do right now unless it gets lower.  I have to keep an eye on it and keep the appointment I have with a specialist in springfield on the 28th, so we will definetly be at the group cuz I have 2 doc appointments that day in springfield.   Yesterday evening when I checked it, my heart rate was back up to 70 w00t!!  Hopefully next month we can join the fitness center at the RecPlex up the road from walmart, they have a really good deal and not near as expensive as I had imagined.  No indoor pool though but she said thats part of a second phase they havnt started yet so maybe in a year or so, anyway just wanted to let ya know how things went yesterday.  Sorry we didnt make your sale, sounds like it was a success!!

Everyone has a great holiday weekend.

Andy

Good morning!  We are going to see a rap group called Bone thugs N harmony.  I've been listening to them forever and my son loves them too, so when I told him I wanted to go he said me too.  So we're going to head out to Columbia @ 1:00 get up there and check into the hotel.  They have an indoor pool, so we'll swim and every time I go up there I have to check out the Goodwill.  All the college students donate their clothes and you can find some great stuff.  The concert is at 8:30 so we will head back home sometime on Sunday.  I'm looking forward to spending time with Gage.  He's so busy these days with work and college even though he lives here sometimes I will go a couple of days without seeing him.  Kids they can't stay home one day ever.  Jan I'm glad your garage sale went great, I hope we have good luck next weekend.  Someone is going to hit the mother load in plus size clothes from Lane Bryant alot with tags.  My friend has about 70 pairs of jeans that look new and over 100 shirts....crazy!  I have tons of house stuff too.  I wish I could just get back half the money I spent on this stuff.  Well I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, I'm head to the attic to clean it out.  Then I need to pack.  ;) Lou

Jan, glad you had good luck with your garage sale.  Won't you be sassy with your new haircut and color!!  My husband is a pack rack and I'm the opposite.  The things he keeps!!

Lou, sounds like you're going to have a great weekend.

We went to the dinner theater and really enjoyed it.  I felt so spiffy in my new black dress and my heels.  It's the first dress I've bought since my surgery.  It is brand new, never even tried on by someone (got it from QVC) and it fit perfectly.  Most everything else I have is thrift store (not knocking those bargains at all) or things I already had an altered.  I only put on my plate food I really wanted and only a very small amount.  There was space left on my plate!!  I ate about half of what I took but enjoyed it.  The play was very good.

Today I'm going to hang some pictures, patch some nail holes and touch up paint those and go to Gordman's for some wall hangings.  This evening I'm babysitting my niece's children that are 7 and 5.  Great kids, very well behaved.  I enjoy spending time with them.  They have a trampoline.  Ryan, my little niece, always wants to help me up there so I can jump with them.  They would probably need to call 911 for me.

We had rain much of yesterday, not heavy, such enough to be messy.  I went back to the gym and got my program set up correctly.  The trainer that set it up did it all wrong.  I have a key I insert into each machine and it records what I do.  Now I need to get the motivation to go at least 3 times a week.  Not sure I will ever be motivated so I better just makie myself go.

Hope everyone is enjoying their holiday weekend.

Hi Aunt Jan and OH Peeps,

How is everyone? I hope that everyone has a good Labor Day weekend, and is safe.

Things have been crazy busy and there has been so much going on-that, of course, plans made and goals arent going to be met right now anyway. I get so disappointed. It seems like every time I THINK I have it all planned out-that goes out the window-I KNOW its part of life-but geez.......

Jon ended up back at the doctor. They wanted another urine sample from him, just to make sure that both results are the same......Good thing we went back in-because, as it turned out, his ear infection had not gone away.  He still had the ear infection. So......he got a very strong antibiotic and they gave him a 10 day course instead of a 5 day. The bad news is that the urine lab test showed the same results as the first one..... So, we go to the dr on Tues again AND...Jon is going to have to have further testing. He is going to have an ultrasound and I believe its called a myelogram. They will be sedating him and put an iv with the dye in it-and watch it run through his system in an MRI or Cat scan. I cant remember which-but I will know for sure on Tues. They said its the only way they will be able to know for sure exactly whats going on!  We are so overwhelmed right now. Jon is having a lot of emotional issues with this because when he doesnt have the control of his bladder, he just loses it. Has a melt down! Last week I had to bring him an extra set of shorts and underwear-after he went through the extra set in his backpack. Then, Weds, Stephanie and I went to have lunch with him since Steph had the day off and Jon has been asking for me to join him again.....We didnt tell him and his face just lit up when he saw Steph and I walk into the cafeteria! He had an accident there too-and it was just devastating. Thank God Steph was with me. She stood in front of Jon without it being so evident and I went and got his extras out of his backpack and then his teacher and I had a talk. She got tears in her eyes and when we brought Jon his stuff, she actually let us use the staff only restroom so that I could go in with him and help to ease his anxiety and get him taken care of. When Steph and I got ready to go-she hugged both of us and had tears in her eyes and said she would help in any way she could. I feel so much better knowing that she cares and is with him when I cant be. She has helped him with some of the other accidents.  I went and bought those pull up type boxer shorts, but he just feels so horrible when he wears them, but I told him that he needs to wear them to school until we get all fixed. The new antibiotic that he was put on-would help a UTI....but now since they are saying its NOT A URINARY TRACT INFECTION.... Who knows? Hopefully it will be something simple. God I sure hope so.

What we know so far with both urine tests..... He has blood in his urine. He has a high level of protein in his urine, and there are no signs of white blood cells (which are present when fighting infection). This has them concerned. We were told that he most likely has something wrong with his kidneys/bladder/prostate. It can be kidney stones even, or they are not filtering properly. He may have a bladder infection, but with the lack of white blood cells, they dont seem to think that would be it. Who knows? He has NO issues with his bowel movements, he has NO pain in urination, and no back, side or pain in the pelvic area. The only fever he has had-is from the ear infection. Anyway-I see my specialist for my hysterectomy and all that on Weds, but now will have to see whats going on with Jonathan before I can schedule a surgery. See, this is what I am talking about....gheesh! Come on already! The little guy just loves school so much, and doesnt want to miss and I had the next 6-12 months all planned out for my own surgeries and health issues and then goals...and I have to put that aside until we have results. I know some of you will say I cant put it off-but I cant NOT be there for my baby with his health situation-its just not an option. Please say some prayers for him that it will be an easy fix-and for Jon-not to be convienent for me or anyone else. Its just physically and emotionally draining the poor little guy.

Mikes got an RC race today. One of the last ones. RC season ends next month. The race will go to late tonite and tomorrow we are going to the lake. We are going to stay with one of his friends by Stockton-but we are staying in our tent/Suburban. We are going to fish and just relax. Even if it rains-where we go has an indoor dock for fishing BUT......since its a holiday weekend-it may end up being too crowded for comfort. I dont like to be in there when its just wall to wall people......I like my space. LOL..... So, will see. We havent done real camping at all this yr. I know it will be chilly-so having a campfire and all that sounds really fun. I cant wait.

Renees uncle passed away Weds and so she didnt come this way like she was going to. It seems like we havent seen each other in forever. I guess her grandson will be here for a couple more months-the kids lost their apartment in California, and so they will be here for a couple more months while they save money for a new place etc. Which is good so that she will have more time with Noah, but I feel bad that they have had to go through all of this.........   Her better half, Larry wants her to come spend some time with him while he is working. He is in South Carolina right now, for his job and wants her to come for a couple of weeks-expenses paid, but I know she struggles with leaving the kids....I told her to go for a couple of weeks since she knows he will be here for a couple more months and then when she gets back-she can get all the Noah time in that she can handle-lol.....plus she is looking at a couple of surgeries, so now is the time to go with Larry before all of that starts and she is stuck here recovering. She wont be able to travel to be with him then. So, if you could keep her and her family in your prayers too-I know that would mean a lot to her. She sure has had a lot on her plate lately.

Well, I have to get off here. I have some sandwiches to make, laundry to finish and bags of activities to get together for Jon and so on, for the race today and then for our camping trip tomorrow.  I hope each of you has a wonderful weekend. Be safe and take care. As always, your in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Janet
