So sorry about the bad news, but like everybody says it's good they caught it now, so when you have surgery there won't be that surprise.

Went to my PCP today and she is for me having the WLS even said good that I want RNY. I'm praying for you, hang in there and "LET GO AND LET GOD."

Sorry to hear what happened to you.  I know that sometimes things happen to us for a reason.  If you didnt have the surgery who knows what would have happened.  Keep your chin up.
