Evening all...

I think OH is seriously messed up....I make sure to have the box checked when people reply to these posts but I'm not receiving notification.  So...I am not ignoring you....I promise!

Today we started in the basement...he started going thru the thousands of pictures his mom had and I worked on our personal filing for the last year.  He made it thru another box and I got the filing caught up...for now.  We probably have 4 more huge boxes of pictures to sort and of course all the stuff of hers we brought home needs to be sorted and put away.  We are going to take it slow so I don't have any more episodes...

Needless to say I'm tired...haha.

The damage...

Outta bed...coffee

2 double chocolate protein shakes thru the day (stuck with the liquids since we went completely off yesterday)

I had about 2 oz of beef later in the afternoon.

Dinner was 1 chicken tender and a few slices of sautee'd zucchini.

Water is pretty good (still need more) and vits are right on track.

We will have our lo carb treat later tonight.

I am having issues with my pouch and have made an appt w/my surgeon.  Being 4 years out I shouldn't have things getting stuck the way they are.  I mean I know if I eat wrong (too big of bites or not chewing well enough) then things will get stuck but not just regular food.  They want me to start Prilosec, too.  Have any of you had an ulcer?  What did it feel like?  I'm having a lot of tenderness and radiating pain also.

Post away you all....so nice to see your faces...

Hey Peggy, it's not just you about OH, they keep messing up on me too, it keeps telling me I have messages on my Inbox when I really dont and when I do have a message it says i dont have any lol go figure.  As for Prilosec, they put Susan on that the day after her surgery, she's never had an ulcer though, they have her take that as a precaution I guess.

Outta Bed - Hot Cocoa protein drink, Susan had a strawberry protein smoothie.

Lunch - We both had salad with chicken and low carb ranch dressing.

2pm or so I had a chocolate protein shake.

Afternoon Snack - I had couple dill pickles and a few s.f. bread and butter pickles.

Supper - It'll be a bit late cuz I wait til susan gets home from work, I'm fixin some sauted boneless chicken breast and onion cooked in a bit of low carb sketti sauce and maybe a few green beans.

Vitamins and water are all on track, had a good walk plus went swimming today, bbrr that pool was a *****illy but felt nice after a bit until I got out lol.

Have a great night.

Andy

Hello Miss Jan...

So this post I get notices of each reply...sigh.  I get so confused when they keep messing with things...

I've never had fried green tomatoes....probably should never try them cause I am sure I would like them...haha.  I fried the zucchini last night and I'm like you, it was good for a couple of slices then it gets greasy.  That's when I know my pouch still works...

Oh and I so understand homemade bread.  I love it....so I only make it when I know I am taking it somewhere to give away.  Then I will allow myself a little bit and get the rest out of the house!

Have a good day...

Pooh im so proud of you , you are doing great with losing weight. so now go to your thrift store and buy some 10s i bet you can get them on...if you can pull 14s up and down without unbuttoning them i bet you can. but please dont get small by not eating , that isnt taking care of Pooh Bear. ..I agree with you about Peggy. she certainly does have a beautiful smile.

Oh Deb....you make me LAUGH!!!

I am so excited to see that you are starting to think of yourself...and the comment about the granny panties....girl, I busted up on that one!

I know you have struggled with food from day one and all the "issues" that come along with this surgery.  It seems like you are doing at least a little better.

And did the shoe thing freak you out too?  I am completely shocked at my feet now!  Didn't realize that toes were supposed to have space in between them...LOL!!!

I missed you too and don't hesitate to let me know if you need anything!

Hi Susie...

Looks like you're gonna have to break out the pork rinds again!  (Sorry, I couldn't resist!)

I hope you were just having a rough day?  Working too much?  I hope today goes better for you...I sure wouldn't want you getting sick.

Have a great day!
