Surgery wernt well, thanks for asking! Waking up from the anesthesia was pretty dry mouth and groggy, but hey, it wore off Surgery was Monday at 2PM, and I was homebound Wednesday at 3PM. I felt pretty good.
Thursday and Friday the muscle pain in the belly was rough, but "This too shall pass"!
Sooo, here I am 8 days later and I am up to 3 mile walks in the evening and I feel really good. On full liquids and soft foods are right around the corner.
See you soon!

I am from St. Charles/ St. Louis area. I know a few people who have had both AGB (lap band) and RNY done, and there are tons more...
Anyways, not sure of support groups at this time. BUT I can offer some support. If you need to talk at any time, I'm around.
I have been researching and learning about lapband and RNY since 2000. Had my AGB put in in 2004, lost 160 lbs and in 2007 it slipped and I had to have it removed. Since then, gained BACK 140 pounds, so am about to attempt for RNY this time.
My band was put in incorrectly to start with... it's a long story...
But regardless, I'm in the area and will help you in any way and be of support.
My personal email is [email protected]
Take care!!! :)
