Wow it looks like there is a very good report  on the Magic Jack....so I did order mine today now the next time I go to town I need to buy me a cordless phone ...and wait till my magic jack gets here. Why are not more people doing this if it is that great?  The only thing we will use our cell phone then is for  calls when we are away from the house or may just have it to take messages if we aren’t expecting anything big. ....or important that we are waiting a call for. Or we could get a really small plan with Verizon and with one phone.would knock our cell phone bill down from 80 dollars to 20 dollars ...wow that is a big savings ...just have to wait till our two year plan is used up ...i think in June....of next year. I don’t know we may be able to change down before this fall without being pentalized. Will see. As soon as I get use to the magic jack....well I will have to change all my contacts to everyone lol but that is ok if it saves that much money will be great. Well now im all excited to get it and see what and how it works...

 

Beautiful day but didn’t do a lot of things today. Been going thru closets , drawers and cabinets gathering things up to have a garage sale. Want to get rid of a bunch of stuff.

Just tired of storing it all. and taking up room ...Joe is going to sit me up a bunch of tables out to the side of the house and we will start putting it out and cover it with tarps...untill next Friday.

 

I made some dreamsfield pasta last night with meatballs and mushroom made some sause using some of my picantia sauce as the base ...made it nice and tangy lol I loved it, Joe did too.

I found so much stuff today that I had forgotten I even had and sure not wanting to use it again....electric skillets, grills, can openers. Toasters. All of them work but just wanted different I guess.

 

Candles all sorts of candles  and holders. Most of them aren’t the colors that I use now. So will get rid of them too . blankets  and comforters and sheets  all in doubles don’t have double beds...man why in the world do we save stuff. Isn’t it awful ,,,,I am making up a box for each of my kids of things I think they might want and going to go ahead and give it to them at Christmas. Let me enjoy seeing them enjoy opening it now instead of after my death...when I cant see them enjoy it ..i guess it will make my life easier now cause I don’t have to store it and also don’t have to clean around it ....let them worry about storing it lol ....

I painted Michele a painting and I have one that im going to give to Steve and will have to do one for Teresa.  Grand kids all want one too so guess I will start on doing those. I guess that is a goal of mine to do now. Will have to do 9 paintings lol wow Joe said I cant get rid of the three I have in the house as those are his. Lol .....i told them that if they had more than one child that they would have to worry about which one got the picture when they died lol my oldest daughter said well I only have  one kid so mine will go to her and then she will have two lol

 

I have got to make appointment Monday with my pcp to get new prescriptions of my ultram and muscle relaxant and make an appointment with the orthopedic doc in Springfield for knee , and make an appointment with beautician for color and cut. My hair is so long and thick and is a mess. So will be busy with that stuff. Will have to have my calendar with me when making these cause Sept is a busy month already with things lined up for it.

 

 

Andy thanks for the info on the magic jack , did you get the email I sent you with the site to buy the baked cheese things ...you had ask me one day about them and I finally found them for you....

Hey I need you and Susan to call me or email me about the 3^rd ok? Its really important...

 

Susan will you be off on the 9^th? Is it your scheduled day off? I think it is ....just tell them your sorry but you cant work on the 9^th will work another day that you have off but not the 9^th lol I know you would love to see some of the people that are going to be there.

 

By the time you get to the support meeting on the 28^th you may be down getting ready to go into 10s....you think?  Isn’t it exciting>=

 

Has anyone been having trouble with getting on OH the last few days? I don’t have problems with any other site but OH. I don’t know what they are doing but they need to stop it what ever it is,....it has taken as much as 3 minutes to get it to come on line. ...

Barb so you like your magic jack ....wonder why more people don’t have this , just a matter of not knowing about it? wonder if we could start selling them lol ....

So if you turn your computer off it will take messages? Or you can have it forwarded...oh yeah since I have a laptop that I take with me like to AZ  will the magic jack go ahead and work out there when I have it on ? I just thought of that

Susie well well hmmmm so if Michele takes herself off then Jordon goes up and then it will be either Jeff or Jordon that goes home.   the only chance Jeff has is to get both girls to vote Jordon off and him and they get Kevin out...but he will have to  lol oh well don’t tell me who leaves on Thursday ok ? lol will watch it ...

 

Lou all I have read about the M.J. is good I think everyone ought to get this would send a message to maybe a lot of people but I guess they would find another way to sock it to us.  Barb said she had the area code from where she is from so maybe it is just the luck of the draw lol doesn’t matter to me ...it is cheap.

Hey I feel that way about doctors , no way can they know anything and be that young lol

I was having trouble with that the last few years that I worked as a nurse. Was hard to give those little pip squeaks anysort of respect as a Doctor. They were just playing doctor I think. Lol

 

Jo : I think Sandy would be more pleased with the Playtex ones too. they have a wide band that goes around the sides and to the back so you get a lot of the excess skin in there. Susan you too. if one day you have a day off and want to go get fitted for a bra I will go with you. If you want...over at the red roof mall ,to Hanes store...or we can go to Kohls and have Maxine to fit you...she is really really good at it. ...what she fits you far may feel different for awhile but it will help hold your shoulders back and will pull the girls up off your belly ..

 Oh wow Crab Meat Puff that really sounds good. also post the recipe for the oriental Zucchini and onions that sounds good.

I had to smile right along with you about you looking at your self and smiling ....i think we all have done that....

Have you ask for the 9^th off ? no I haven’t forgotten that lol ....would so love to meet you.

Janet  I am so glad that little man is doing better now. Doesn’t it make you mad when a doctor wont take a mothers word for things. I use to get so mad at anyone like that.

Im glad that you have such confidence in your new gyn...i hope she has you in and out of surgery before you can say jack robinson. Lol you need it and quick ..has been way way to long.

And then I want you to be at the Sept meeting , I need to give you a hug....will keep praying for me...

 

Bec wow you have a great insurance that will pay for all of dentist bills. That is good. you be sure and take those pills before you go the next time. im sure you will. It will make you not care as much.

I would love to get my bottom dentures fastened in my mouth permenatly....they put in two to three posts and then fasten your bottom plate to them , you don’t take them out at all but brush them just like you do your teeth.  When do you go back to him again. ?

 

Those low blood sugar episodes really are scary aren’t they? I don’t allow myself to get that way anymore ....no sir it makes a believer out of you ...even scary some...well really is if you don’t know what it is. ...

Washing your pots and stuff out with bleach each year is the way of keeping bad stuff from coming back again next year.

Lol you wear a –A?  if that is so just go buy a sports bra and stuff them in .lol

 

Oh Jeanine nope I have written and written and cant get an answer. I have emailed and called and never nothing. I wish we could get hold of her , wonder what is happening . I know she had some very sick family ...

 

 

 

 

 

 I ordered some click yesterday. Its on back order but at least it is ordered. Now that the mornings are getting cooler it will be perfect to take with me on the way out the door in the morning. I am slow in the mornings so the caffeine will help me. Getting to sample it last month  really helped because I would never have bought it otherwise.

One thing always leads to another when remodeling. We are headed back to DS's today . I am having a hard time finding a new mirror to hang over the sink. Can't use a cabinet because of stud locations. It is a narrow area, only 18" wide to go over the new pedestal sink.DH wants a beveled mirror, we may have to have one made for it. We got new towel , tissue rods  to hang today. It is really looking much better. I did a good job on the floor. Only one tile slipped after install and it only has a very tiny gap. They seem to be sticking well. The floor leveling stuff wasn't hard to do . All the old accessories were oak in there and it has no window so we are using chrome to lighten things up. Even the light fixture had an oak frame. I can't wait to see how the new one looks. I am spending all my money on that house instead of fixing up mine. I would love to upgrade some of my stuff. A mothers job is never done.

Good Sunday am!  I had a great day yesterday.  I met my friend for sushi and then we went shopping.  Later Frank and I met another couple and went out to dinner down town at Millie's and then to a movie, followed up by a trip to Starbucks.  We had a great time.  Its so awesome to have the energy to do all of this.  When they are all ready to give it up, I feel like I could go on for hours.  Never in my life have I had energy like this. WoooHooo!  I lost 2 lbs this week, I'm inching closer and closer to my surgeons goal.  I hope he will be happy with my progress at my year appt in October.  I've lost another 35 lbs in the last 3 months, that's pretty dang good.  I hope to hit goal by my 1.5 year anniversary.  I am plugging along, good thing its not a race! ;)  I'm happy with my results though.  I feel healthy and I look healthy so that's what's important.  I'm anxious to have my labs drawn.  I have been diligent about taking my vitamins.  I was taking the Critical petites but they are large for being petite.  So I ordered some calcium from Celebrate, they are long and skinny, much easier to swallow and they are made for WLS patients and are easy digest.  Ever since I started the probiotics I have had zero problems with constipation! Lou, you are really doing great with your weight loss.  I have lost 6 lbs. since I saw my doctor in July.  I need to lose 14 to meet his goal.

I love Click.  Just ordered from Amazon.com for $20.88/can, free shipping.  It's on backorder.  How do you make your drink?  It looks so delicious.

Another question...what are the pribiotics you take?  I finally found a way to get Miralax down.  I put it in peach tea.

Hi Jo, the probiotics I take are NOW brand.  I get it at the health food store, its in the refrigerator.  They told me where ever you buy it, it need to be refrigerated.  Since its a live culture its called acidophilis.  Its cheap too.  10$ for 2 months supply.  They said take one in the am 30 min before you eat with a glass of water.  Its really worked well for me. I couldn't go without help before, its been two weeks and I haven't had to take anything to go to the bathroom.  The Click frappicino I use about half a cup of milk( I use hoods calorie count down) the res****er( to make the 12 oz of fluid) and some ice.  Blend and top with whipped cream.  Sometimes I add sugar free syrups also.  Like caramel, vanilla or raspberry. 

guess I missed something.  What is that lucious looking drink.  Is it Click ith whipped creme.  God Bless - Colette

Jan, it doesn't look like I'll be able to be off on the 9th.  Hope there's a gathering on a weekend soon.

The Crab Meat Puff was delicious, easy to make and looked really good.  I got very sick about 2 hours after eating it though.  I'm lactose intolerant and I used regular milk in the dish.  Yesterday when I went to buy the Vitamite, it had a date of 8/30/09 on the label so I knew it wouldn't last the week.  The other lactose free products were almost $5 a half gallon so I got skim milk and thought I would take the lactaide tablets with it.  The Puff had 1 cup of milk and I didn't think about taking the lactaide tablet. 

At first I thought I might be getting the flu but after it all came back up, I felt better.  It took about 3 hours for me to feel good again. The zuchinni/onion dish was really good.

I have a roast and carrots in the slow cooker.  I'm going to try my luck making Clouds again.

Can't believe the gorgeous weather we're having.
