WHATS HAPPENING THURSDAY

Whew well we got to the phone office before they turned it off, the girl in there laughed at me lol she said we always send you a notice before we do that and call you and call you...ohhhhhhh well I didn’t really know I never been late before. We have been in the process of changing banks and I had eliminated all the online electronic pays.. so I could get it all changed out....i paid everything else but forgot the phone ....that is weird cause I think of that one being the most important   lol ...

We took the trike in with our little bike trailer pulled behind...and we got a big bag of dog food , a big bag of chicken feed and chopped corn ....and then we went and got our groceries....both at the dollar store and at Country Mart. Oh we had to make another stop at the other store that still had bananas 3 pounds for a one dollar and bought 6 pounds. Yummy. Joe and I love them.

Then we came home with a stop at the gas station to get gas .....and another stop at the permanate garage sale that we always pass , bought some of those tan roll up shades that look like little sticks .....dont know what you call them not wicker oh yeah bamboo lol

Got them for 4 dollars apiece for two really long ones and 2 dollars for a shorter one....they will be great on the back porch to keep the south sun off there.

New people on the board today....that is great. Hope they keep coming on here.

Sounds like the meeting on Monday night was a blast....sure wish I could have been there I feel like im lopsided now for another month....lol

Everyone that has thought about coming to the meeting of the “Circle of Friends  well next month is the month to come.....You will love Dr. Hawes. He does take medicare too and medicare will pay for the removal of the excess skin , wont pay for tightening muscles but will remove the tummy skin....there have been cases where they have paid for someone to have the excess skin taken off of the boobs but don’t count on that because it is  a hard fought battle for that one.

Bec  you bet it is good news about Debbies hubby, I know he feels so much better now. Thank you sweet lady for emailing me today, I really needed it big time. I have sent you an answer please continue to keep the prayers coming...

I can just see your daughter driving the popper and Paul ....im glad that she did that tho. I cant imagine having beautiful loving caring daughters like you have. You are certainly blessed ...

Yes I want to thank you so very much for all of those tubs you gave me....in two of mine I planted some of my mints. I have one that I really like it is orange mint. Smells so good.

Next year im going to put one close to the back door and plant it full of all sorts of herbs. I have another bed for the big amount of them but I like to have some fresh handy...

I let Andy use 2 of them that they planted full of flowers by their  front door. They were too heavy to take with them...i have several of my tropical vines in some of mine too. the ones that have to be taken into the green house to protect them from the weather. Bougainville, passion flower, climbing bleeding heart and my tropical fig vine. I put them in there and am going to put them off the ground with stuff around them to keep from freezing. Going to try it this year without any heat I think they will be fine with  the heat build up during the day.....

I tried something in between one whole row this year....i lay down cardboard between the rows and it worked and kept out the weeds and kept things mulched and held the moisture in ...so I am collecting lots of cardboard this fall and winter so I can put it everywhere next spring....no weeding and no hoeing and it dissolves and helps the ground too. and  is a great way for lazy gardeners .....lol

SUSAN!!!wow another  few pounds and you will be down with me lol that is awesome girl. Im so proud of you  im like Jo I want to know what you eat every day....give us your diet lol I think a lot of it is your exercise. Not what you eat so much. I know you do watch everything you eat tho. What you are doing is physically trying but most of the time that doesn’t do as much good as a straight exercise routine....the pool has really helped hasn’t it? for the winter get you and Andy a exercise ball to use when you are watching tv and stuff. Even just sitting on those things helps with your core muscles.

Colette thanks for the prayers for us to find a renter, I hope they turn out to be just half as nice as Andy and Susan were.

Jo thanks to you too and to everyone else who said a prayer for us ...it really helped I know.

God found us someone that will rent it and I think take care of it and someone that I can mother too lol

Susie when you said that about the kid in Susans avatar I had to go back and look , lol didn’t know what you meant at first,  you know sometimes I show my age worse than otheres lol

Debbie so what is David doing? You said he is doing manual labor...he will need to start exercising to get stronger....i know he was tired ...but remind him how he felt last week when he didn’t have a job.

I know he is very thankful...and hopefully it will work into something better than manual labor but there is nothing wrong with that either. As it says in the \Bible that the man is to make his living by the sweat of his brow. Lol  I will continue to praying for him that he grows stronger and stronger all the time.

Im glad that your lab found a new home and did you get the poodle...sounds like things are working out for you...

Sure hope you get to come on the 9^th I am anxious to see everyone that can make it.

Hope some of you lake girls can get over to Sedalia for lunch that day too.

I made something for supper tonight that was so so good. I mean it was delicious probably not good for me since it was so good.  I took eggplant sliced it and sprinkled it with Basil and garlic on both sides , sprayed the skillet and browned both sides of the eggplant , I put one layer in the bottom of a baking dish then I sliced a skillet full of ripe tomatoes and seared them and place a layer of them on the eggplant, then another layer of eggplant and another of tomato, then I took a block of pepper jack cheese and put it all over the top. And baked it oh wow yummy.   We both loved it. I think it would be weight loss friendly wouldn’t it? there wasn’t any flour or anything in there. No grease.  Don’t know what sort of calories are in eggplant does anyone know? I used one medium one and 2 big ripe tomatoes and a small block of cheese. It was  about 2 inch square and about 4 inches long.
