WHATS HAPPENING FRIDAY

I found some good bargains today for sure. I got 5 pieces of the white plastic lattice board all 5 for 45 dollars. Plus she had the boards that go with them 6 of them and she just gave those to me ....God has prospered me. ...then we went and picked up the bamboo shades. That we had found. When we went to pick them up he said you know I think there is another one of those in this other room...he went and got it and said here you can just have this one .....God has prospered me ...isnt that great???

 

After picking up the lattice board in Nixa I called Sugar and we went over there and then out to supper to a Chinese buffet. I love Chinese food. I just have to watch what I eat there. Lots of their sauces are loaded with sugar. So I just get the driest meats and do well. I just get aggreviated at rests and buffets , their sugar free desserts most of them think if they give us sugar free jello they are doing a big thing.  Lol little do they know how much of that stuff we have eaten. Lol ...they wouldn’t dare put that in front of us would they?

 

Wheeeee boy we are getting thunder and lightening . hope we get some rain out of all of that noisy.  Seems like every time that I think that everything is getting too dry and star****ering than God sends us rain. God has prospered me .....lol isn’t it amazing how many things you can find that God is giving to you when you have the right attitude?

 

So is anyone else watching Big Brother? Don’t hear anyone saying anything about it.

I watch all of these reality shows...is that silly or what? just like to see how all of their minds work about different things. Some of the younger people really surprise me a lot.

 

 

Janet well im glad that you got the ob/gyn doctor you finally wanted but you have just put off that surgery another 2 weeks huh..? I hope she is ready to do that for you soon.

I know you will feel so much better when you get that done. If I sound like im scoulding you im not , just want you to finally do something about some of this pain you are having. Ok...love you sweetie.

I read your wow moments and sounds like you are on cloud 9....it is amazing isn’t it? having the RNY was the best thing I ever did. .

I hope poor little Jon is ok...that is agrivating to adults let alone a kid.

Sure doesn’t seem like it has been 6.5 months since that baby was born...they grow up so fast.

Remember that Dr. Hawes will be at the next meeting so be sure and come.

Jo you might try putting something else in with the eggplants would just  have to work with it maybe. I will try something. I have a lot of the eggplant to pick tomorrow and maybe I could put something like green peppers? Or sliced onions. The tomatoes just add that spicy little bit of taste. I really cant imagine anyone in this world not liking tomatoes lol my granddaughter Kim doesn’t like them either. I tell her she isnt normal. Lol

 

Clothes are such a crazy thing that is why it is so hard to buy anything thru the mail or online. I wear size 10s and I will find something once in a while that is a size 14 and still snug on me. Well one thing for sure I don’t buy it. im not going to make myself feel like a fatty when Im not. Lol

But you really need to try on everything that you buy...even bras...one bra will fit at 36 B the next will have to have a 38 B really it is 36 barely B. lol

 

 

Lou I was thinking about having a garage sale this coming week end. Will be a great one down here where we live but I had that sickness and couldn’t get to moving ...so don’t guess I will do one. ....maybe I will come to yours and buy some more stuff lol

 I am a big big brother fan. I watch big brother after dark and keep tabs on line but do not get the live feeds. You really learn a lot more on bbad. I get sucked in every time. This has been a good one. I guess it doesn't take much to keep me entertained. I think this week will be very interesting  with the person who won HOH. I won't say who in case you do not know. I can't wait to see if they put up who I think they will.
I am so glad its Friday. School is taking up so much time and wearing me out. I keep saying I need to retire for good but it doesn't happen. With so many people out of work I should be great full to be working I know. If I could get my money back out of my house I would sell and downsize so it would take less to live.Life has a way of getting complicated.

Boy sounds like you did get some good deals... I love it when that happens!

It is raining here this morning... I got up to walk early as I have to have a tooth extracted today and didn't think I would feel like walking over that... but it was just too nasty hopefully it will clear off in a couple of hours so I can get it done or I will be taking an umbrella and putting on mud boots and getting it done anyway... last night I was sinking in the mud! Ugh!  my shoes were laden down with it...

I HATE going to the dentist!  I HATE those needles!  Ok I'm done with that.. ~tee hee

Oh Mimi I LOVE Chinese food... I LOVE CRAB RANGOONS!!!!  they have cream cheese in them you know??? ~tee hee... this "cream cheese queen" still loves all the recipes with that it it!  But sure can say... this is the least amount I have boughten of any year since I have been married! I guess it's a good thing I did not buy stock in it as I would be ruining my own portfolio! ~tee hee  I wish I knew how many packages I have boughten in this 26 years... I bet it is astronomical!

I'm going to love this cooler weather coming up!  I just have to get outside and get some things done!

Jan, I had to chuckle at your excitement over the lattice things and blinds.  I get excited over kitchen gadgets and appliances and sewing stuff.  Sounds like you really were blessed with your bargains.

No more buying clothes that I can't return.  Lou said she had the same problem with a skirt from Penney's.  I agree Lou, if Spanks could hold us in like that we wouldn't have needed surgery.  I'm wearing the jeans I got off Ebay and they fit great.  I looked at myself in the mirror and it's still hard to believe that's really me.

I shouldn't be so hung up over size tags but I wore the Xs for so long I want the smallest size I can wear. 

Bec, I hate those shots at the dentist office too.  I would have to be put out if they were pulling a tooth.  Years ago I had a tooth pulled and I was awake.  Never again.  Can't stand that crunching sound. 

More rain here today.  It was more like an October morning.

I never thought I would hear someone telling me that I need to wear smaller clothes or clothes that fit!  I am comfortable in a 12 and I know I should go down to a 10 but the 12's feel good.  For so long we have wore clothes to cover up/hide  our size its hard to wear something that fits.  Does that make sence?  I am happy wearing a Large or even an XL.  My main problem is finding a bra that fits.  Its an ongoing struggle.  I have 2 clothes baskets full of discarded sizes  - I am sick of trying to find one that fits.  I don't like the spagetti straps and the 2 hook ones which most 36 c's have.  I will find one eventually!!!  I have been fitted several times at all the places you can name but still can't find a style I like.  I am still going to garage sales and hitting the re-sale shops in hope of finding what I want as I am tired of trying to find one in the stores.  This is a QUEST for me...

Got my final results back today and I do not have the H-Pyloi bacteria that caused my ulcer to flare up.  If I have another episode of chest pain etc... I will have to have an EGD.  I did find out from Dr. Z. that he will do the scope as he had called and talked to Dr. Suttmoeller.  That is a relief as I really don't want to go back to Columbia for that.  I guess working in Outpatient surgery I know all the surgery people and the gals I work with and its uneasy for me to be in another hospital where people don't know me.  Boy am I chatty tonight...
