WHATS HAPPENING SUNDAY
Can you believe that i didnt wake up or get up till 8:30 i was awake most of the night last night praying and walking the floor. Michele my daughter has more trauma in her life , just if you all would pray for her and pray for her protection please. that is about all that can be done at this point.
anyway im just too emptied right now to do much in the way of posting ....going to clean house really well today that always helps me when im stressed.

Jan, so sorry your daughter is having problems. I knowso well how stressed we can get with our children's problems. I've been there a number of times. Even though they are grown, we don't stop worrying about them. I will be praying for Michele and you.
I went to Costco yesterday and spent way too much money. Bought some instant potatoes called Baby Reds for hubby. He loves potatoes and I thought these would be convenient. They taste awful. I cooked a package last night and had a taste. He didn't like them either. The box has an address you can send a copy of your receipt to and get a refund. That will be in the mail tomorrow.
I got a box of individual cups of Greek yogurt but it's not nearly as good as what I've been getting in a large container. It's much like regular yogurt. The Greek yogurt is hard to find.
Today is my granddaughter's 6th birthday dinner. I'm taking a fruit salad and probably a corn casserole. No cake or ice cream for me and it doesn't bother me that everyone else is eating it. Just doesn't appeal to me.
Last night I grilled wild salmon and it was delicious. Grilled it on the GF grill with a little olive oil and some spices. It didn't have that fishy taste that some salmon has. At Costo I got a box of Chicken Salad individual containers, great for lunches to take to work. Also got 12 cans of Albacore tuna at a good price.
Great weather. Really enjoying the lack of humidity.

Been busy canning what I can from the garden. Today I made Jalopena(sp) jelly and homemade spagetti sauce. Going to try and make Dad some peach habenero jelly also sometime this week. The Jalopena salsa jelly turned out great as far as I can tell. I only had a tiny taste before I sealed the jars and it is spicy.
Had an episode of chest pain the other day at work and ended up in the ER. I kept telling them that it was my ulcer and after 3 hours of being examined top to bottum It was confirmed that it was my ulcer. The sweet corn and polish sausage the night before set it off. So I am taking a different med now for it. So what did I learn? Not to say you are having chest pain with a couple of docs and nurses you work with standing within hearing distance and not to eat polish sausage again even if it was only a 2 ounce serving.
