WHATS HAPPENING THURSDAY

WOW would you believe that we have had 5 phone calls yesterday morning already about the rental??? 4 were from Craigs list and one from the flyers that we got put out in Forsyth....they all want to come this week end to see about it...

Most all of them are on disability...hmmm wonder why....im not sure about the hallway or the bathroom ..told them this and only one of all is in a wheel chair. But can get up and walk short distances. So she should be able to get to the bathroom just fine...

Maybe it will be rented by Sunday of this next week...thank you God in advance for taking care of this. And a need thing is that almost everyone has told me that they were Christians, not that is a qualification to live there. It is just a statement ....so please don’t flame me over that. Lol

I told every one the other day that I have given it to God to take care of .but you know us co-depents/we think we are suppose to come back and pick it up again.......i keep having to lay it back down and tell God to slap my hands if I come back again to pick it up again. but I guess most of us are like that aren’t we? For some reason we think we can do a better job..

We went to Forsyth yesterday bought a few , very few groc. And put out some flyers.  Picked up my Sudafed and came home....Joe started mowing the lawn....man I tell you what it sure can get away from you really easy....

Last night when I went to go to bed couldn’t lay down because I started coughing so decided I would sleep in my big chair...it is roomy and comfortable , and I can make it as good as a recliner since I have a big footstool out in front of it. I finaly slept about 3 hours was so sore when I woke up but I felt better too. my voice was better and the congestion was better as was the cough....still have the cough but  it is better. At least im getting something up now. That is the main thing....when you have congestion that is dry and you cant get anything up that is when it gets dangerous, and usually causes pneumonia, so I just bought some more mucnex  along with my Sudafed. Hopefullly I will be as good as ever tomorrow. ...I have been transferring some iris around....ive gotten way to many in some areas. So have been moving and re-arranging them....this past spring I think they all bloomed I really have some that are beautiful....one that is a double ruffeled pink and lavender. So so pretty...and so delicate. Then I have them all the way to the other end ....of being black as they can get...and everything in between....

Susie, I thought that movie looked pretty good. I use to love to watch Julia Childs she was such a hoot to watch...she laughed at all the rules lol ....she would slap that chicken up on the counter and punch it and stick her hands down in it. not delicate at all. I use to watch her and just laugh, she did too, she didn’t take herself serious at all.

Yeah that is the trouble with thinking you can only do one thing in a room....the next thing you know you are  doing something else in there.

And really gets crazy if you tear too much out, you will always find something that wasn’t done right. L

Lou I have been meaning to tell you something. Your pictures just keep getting prettier and prettier, you have this retro glamorous look like Lana Turner, lol you probably don’t even know who she was. Lol .. but you have that look anyway....

So how are you all coming with your bathroom make over. ?

Wish you were down this way futher would let you try selling this rental house...if we don’t get it rented in the next few days lol ..is there someone that you know that is down in this area that is good?

Jo:sorry you had such a horrible day at work . don’t you wonder why some people like to attack others in front of a room full of people? I  have always know when someone is hurting or in pain of some sort....

Oh wow I wished I knew all you do about cooking and sewing. All of that stuff is so neat to know. I just never wanted to learn it when I was young and now I just don’t have the talent lol

My hubby makes his own sweets and stuff. If he is going to eat baked cookies then he has to make them . it is bad enough to have to smell them.

How are you all doing? I hope that this post finds you all doing great! Jan- I pray that you are feeling better! Dont you dare go and get pneumonia on us! Are you feeling better today? We know you have such a hard time taking it easy-you are the most active person I know-but maybe you need to-for a couple of days, until this passes?

Ive been running this week like nuts and there is no end in sight, unfortunately. At least we will have a schedule in a couple of days when the boys start back to school. Jon is going to public school this year and will have speech therapy once a week-for now. Maybe more, depending on how it goes once the screening is done. We know, right now, its once a week.

I absolutely cannot wait to tackle my projects around here and get organized.....mission organization and alone time-what is that? Im so excited about that-I cannot even believe it! LOL...... I have so many projects I have wanted to start or have started that I cannot finish because I get interrupted and its just frustrating etc-and now I can have my own area and time-uninterrupted time-to do MY projects and MY own thing. I feel so selfish-but I am so excited about it! I havent had MY time since I had Jonathan. The other 3 kids were old enough to do their own things etc-so I could read a book or sew an outfit or quilt, that kind of thing, without interruptions........so I am looking forward to that again. I have so much fabric, its not even funny.. I could have a miniature JoAnns-LOL....seriously-when one of my best friends moved to Reno, she was/is a seamstress and she had 2 gigantic rooms in her house that were nothing but shelves and racks of fabric and sewing necessities-well, she gave me a car and a half load of boxes of fabrics! She made all of my maternity clothes (thank god-I was HUGE....) and my wedding dress-all my bridesmaids etc etc) So anyway-I cannot wait to make some sundresses (For renee-but she doesnt know it-hope she doesnt pick today to get in here and read-lol) and some things for my lil' princess!

We have a national race this Sat. in Rolla and then a Final next month in the outskirts of Columbia or maybe it is considered Columbia-not sure yet. Will see. Mike is tied for 3rd-with 3 others. Or I should say he was-I dont know where he is now. Will have to ask him. We had some issues at last weekends race where Darrel backed the steering off so much on the car that Mike had no control over the steering-thus not being able to finish the race, thus taking last place. So will see. I will be his pit person in Rolla. Talk about pressure!!!! No practice either. Told Mike we HAVE to go up Friday night and practice! No and, if or buts about it. WE dont practice, I dont pit. Period.

My Steph and her b-friend that I loved and adored broke up the day I said that if they ever broke up I would fix her up with Tammys son! Geez! Im broken hearted-I cant imagine how bad stephy feels.....all I know is that it was a mutual thing and that he is moving out-as soon as she finds a new room-mate.

Well, I just wanted to pop in here and say hi to everyone and see how you are all doing!  I miss you all and am hoping after we get into a schedule here I will see you more often!! Im going to be so glad when school starts-Darrel, the teenager in him-is driving me NUTS-O!!!!! LOL so Im ready for school to start!!
