WHATS HAPPENING WEDNESDAY

Today has been a total funk.....i have congestion and coughing , and runny nose., fever, I think that is all. I ment to call Dr. Bridges today but time got away from me..i will get up early in the morning and call and see if I can get in to see her. It has already went into my lungs and most times that isn’t fun with how long I have it... use to when I didn’t have any insurance and would have to just get over it...i have had it to last 3 and 4 months. Since I have medicare now I don’t let stuff go like I did.  Anyway this came on so quickly that I don’t know.....

 

I didn’t do much of anything today just lay around and slept...my ribs hurt from coughing and my nose is sore from blowing lol

 

Joe got the  bathroom all done at the rental house. All is left is putting the exterior door on the laundry room and moving the old elec stove out.....whew....didnt think we would get it done. Now we just need someone to live in it. I have made up some flyers. And going to put them on all the bullentin boards around forsyth...

I got an email today from this  kook from England wanting me to take a check for more than what it is and cashing it and sending him the extra money....lol I wrote him back and told him I didn’t fall off the turnip truck yesterday....let him figure it out lol

 

Don’t have a lot to talk about....didnt even have any good dreams when I was sleeping. Lol

 

Lou it isn’t very easy to keep things clean when you are remodeling.. I like what I hear about your design. Sounds good. ...a lot of people lately are using the corrugated tin ...i have bought several pieces and going to use it in the guest house.. on the ceiling. I think it will look really neat...

So did your dad get his hair cut today? How long has he had his hair like that? Will you recognize hin? Lol

Oh wow wont you have a good time at your class reunion. I went to my high school reunion last year....it was great...but im sure that if I were still like I was I wouldn’t have even have gone..

 

 

Lana good to see you and yes I know that if you work you time doesn’t belong to you. Lol im so glad that you have something that takes care of your RA pain...it wish they could find something that would take care of the Osteoarithitis...without ruining your stomach...

That is neat that your daudgher got to take advantage of the Clunker deal.. Joe and I talked ab out it  but our truck is worth more than 4500. so it wouldn’t help much...lol

 Well if my tomatoes haven’t bit the dust by the next meeting I will bring you some...

I have had more than my share of them ....Andy and Susan moved too quickly they didn’t get to share in some of the things. Hopefully I will have some cucks here before long. I planted some good ones I hope...they putting little runners on them now. And so are my spag squash I saw a bloom  on them yesterday. \

 

 

Barb so good to have you back home...I know that you and those girls had a great time....im glad they got their pictures taken with the (cowboys.)...that sounds like her . lol she isn’t bashfull when she wants something. Is she? Lol wish more people were like that in this world...they would accomplish some really neat things.

So glad that you had a good trip....and glad that you are back home now....i would like to get us all together again before winter. I am going to call and see if can make my appointment to see Dr. Hornbostel for my 3 year appointment on Sept 7^th  ....we could all meet up on Sunday in the park and have a picnic..wont be so hot...might be real nice then. That evening we can go to Dr. Hs. Support group meeting. ...will put the word out to any one and everyone... well will if I can get an appointme\nt for the 7^th....talk to you later....

 

 

Susie, good to see you back too....my goodness all of you just disappear on me...lol glad you had a great time with your sister. .....those are some sizes there girl  4/14 never heard of that size. Lol

Jo  you sound like my daughter use to ....she would say I spend all day long on a computer and I don’t want to be on one when I get home. ...

That is so neat that you can take up your clothes as you undergrow them lol ....that makes things a lot less expensive ....i really didn’t buy much until I lost all of my weight. Couldn’t afford to. But I had a lot of clothes given to me. So I did all right down thru the weights. .sounds like you are disgusted with something or just really tired. ...take care of you....

 

 

Sandy I know what you mean about working so hard putting stuff up from the garden....but I really do love it. I put most things up in freezer bags ....a couple of years ago I took out about 3 bags of frozen tomatoes and put them thru the chopper and made a new batch of pincanta sauce.  Do you take things like the peppers and onions etc and chop them up and put them in small bags....i have found the little snack ziplock bags are the best , that way if it calls for a couple of spoonfuls you don’t have to open up a big bag of it and thaw it all out....

Im sorry about your furbaby.. looks like you are doing about all you can for her.....giving her extra loving and treats. Don’t know what else you would do for her...take her to a doggie psychritiist? Just kidding.

We had someone that stole our other outside dog, a beautiful  red chow... she was such A sweetie , she would have died before she would have bit someone...so someone stole her.... and our other dog just worried himself to death over her....he would walk around looking for her. For the longest time....that morning I got up and she was gone I told him Rebel where is Chewy? He would look at me and then walk over and look up the driveway.....every time I ask him that , that is exactly what he would do ...and look so sad...

He is a pretty dog but a mixture of chow, and lab....so I guess they didn’t want him but he wouldn’t have let them  put him in a car anyway...he is a little skittish around p eople he doesn’t know. ,heck he doesn’t want to get in our truck even lol  he will run along beside us if we are going to the lake.....good to have you back home....dont work yourself too hard.

 I saw a good movie over the weekend, Julie and Julia. It made me want to learn to cook. I wish I could become a good cook. I saw it with my sister and we even bought her a couple new pots. I doubt she will cook any more than me but at least we have hope. Who knows I might decide to give it a whirl.
Well we got the tub and surround in DS's house yesterday. They did a fantastic job. He came about 9am and finished up about 6pm but had to go get a small part for the faucet so I didn't stay and wait on him to come back. DS said everything is great and he loves it. Except for being expensive I would recommend ReBath to anyone. Its made a huge difference in the room . Now we have to finish the rest. Its gonna turn into a whole room remodel. One thing leads to another you know.

Good morning!  Damn Susie maybe we should have called rebath.  My husband has been working non stop on our remodel.  He's got the plumbing all done and today starts dry wall.  We have a long way to go.  I guess I could be more help, usually I do help but with my dad here and my BFF from high school is in town from Florida.  Plus there isn't a whole lot of room in the bathroom for two construction people.  I'm the painter decorator. LOL  My car is going back in the shop tomorrow.  We got the air fixed when it quit last week and now its not working agian.  I really hope they can fix it, I've spent a fortune the last few months getting it fixed between the air and brakes, blah blah , blah.  Tomorrow I'm headed to the landing with my friend from Florida for some girl time and shopping.  I've really enjoyed my week off from work.  Next week back to the grindstone!  I have to get some more listings.  Hope everyone has a great day! ;) Lou

Jan, you are very perceptive.  Yesterday was a really bad day.  At a monthly meeting one of the admins lit into another one telling her everything she does that is irritating.  I was stunned that she would do that in a group, so inappropriate.  The office manager didn't do anything.  It was just awful.  What was said was true but that was not the place.  I don't like confrontation so I was so stressed.  The "victim" sits close to me and of course she's very upset. 

I did go to the gym last night and felt good about that.

Susie, I started cooking when I was about 9 and haven't stopped.  I just love to read cookbooks.  I was afraid after surgery I wouldn't want to cook as much but I do.  I love to bake so I make things for other people.  My kids and my husband really enjoy.  I make special things for me too.
