I HAVE MY SURGERY DATE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so excited the surgery nurse called me today and told me that my surgery is scheduled for August 31st...wow that is only a few weeks away i thought it would take at least 3 months to get a date from what Dr. Suttmoeler said on Monday the 3rd when i went up there i am so excited and nervous at the same time...WOW my prayers are being answered Praise god...

It's time to get my mascot out!!! Seems like I haven't had him out in a while... but for sure he needs to come out for you!

For me the major excitement was when I found out the insurance approved after two years of struggles!

not a lot left for me to say except YIPPEEand away we go....this is starting the most enjoyable and exciting journey you will ever be on.....be sure and stay with us daily as it will really help you ...do you have a local support group you can get into? that is important too.. nothing like having people on your side . all of us here are rooting for you ...God is good all the time isnt he?

Congrats. The day will be here before you know it.The liquid diet really sucks but you will make it through it.First 3 days of it is the hardest.As Jan says Keep your eye on the prize and you will do great.
