OK, i need help..
RNY on 01/06/15
I have been stuck for the last 4 months, and lost great in the first year after the sleeve, but have barely lost anything in the last 6 months.. i just read what Lana said about realizing she was drinking and I am also, hadn't even thought of it, but that cant by itself make me quit losing can it?
Anybody have any ideas other than back to liquid for a short time or the pouch test and what do you think will work best.. I dont care what i have to do, i want to lose more weight, i do not want to be stuck here.. I am glad to be back here also, i need to devote more time to the board, i really miss you guys.

Yes Cindy you can lose more , you will just have to up your efforts now....exercise more , drink an extra protein drink, and get in an extra 16 oz of water....see if any of that helps....there are lots of information on the board. if you ask....someone will come up with an idea that will work...i havent lost any weight since i was about a year out but i havent gained any either....my excuse is that i cant do a lot of exercise because of my arthritis....and i know me , if i dont exercise i dont lose. i stay busy all the time working in the yard and garden but that isnt the kind of exercise i need. i need once a day at least 30 minutes of heart raising exercise........

I had RNY July 8, 2008. The biggest chunk of my weight came off in the first 7 months. It's been much slower since then and for awhile I didn't lose at all. I didn't stress over it though. For so many years my weight was always on my mind.
My dietician told me to eat more and I have been doing that. She recommended 1200 calories a day but I've never reached that. I added more protein and limit carbs. I didn't lose any this week but the previous 2 weeks, I lost 2 lbs. each week. I've joined a program at the gym that will give me a good workout and hopefully get my weight moving. I need to lose 16 lbs. to reach my doctor's goal.
Like Jan, said, up your water and protein.
