What Is Happening Tuesday

Good morning everyone.hope everyone had a good monday.hard to believe that it is the last tuesday of july.time sure does fly by when we are having fun.lol.we missed seeing everyone last night but we will be back next month for sure.

jan you look great in your new picture that you have on here.did you get to try the bread and butter pickel's?we will make some more whenever you want to.

pooh bear you look great too in the picture's you put on here.sometime's it does take someone else to tell us how we look and you are looking great.

barbara sound's like baby is really staying close to you.when we are gone for a day or just for a few hour's our two kid's wont leave our side.they follow us everywhere.thank's for the update on peggy.tell her we said hello when you talk to her again and we are praying for her.

jo we know you are ready for a 3 day weekend.sure will be nice.hope it stay's nice for you.do you have anything special planned for thoses day's?have a good time.

janet we will be praying for renee.tell her she is in our thought's.we missed the meeting too.hopefully we will ge to see you all next month.

We had a great meeting last night Susan so sorry you and Andy didnt get to be there we had 5 new people and and one returning one that hasnt been there in a long long time.   it was a really good meeting and Lou did a wonderful job....Brenda did a great report on her surgery...even if she couldnt  pronounce what she had lol...(you had tobe there to know how funny it was)  anyway we missed all of the regulars that usually come and that missed a great fun night....be sure and make plans for next month when i know Lou will have something else fun and neat for us to hear or do....

Rainy, cloudy day.  We got quite a bit of rain last night.

I'm wearing my A-line dress today, the one I took in 7".  It's easy to alter since it's made so simple.  Next time I will need to take the sleeves out and alter them.  It does hang off the shoulder just a bit.  I'm wearing a body suit for the first time.  Just wasn't quite sure about wearing it but I love it, very comfortable, and it holds in those lumpy areas.

Susan, I have no real plans for my 3 day weekend except getting my craft room set up.  Hubby painted the garage door yesterday and I have curtains to hang at the door and window.  Instead of a man cave, it will be my woman cave.  No TV there yet but a radio and CD player. 

I have some cabinet drawers I need to clean out.  My bottom turntable where I keep all my canned goods and way too much other stuff isn't working right so not sure what I will do with it.  The top tray fell on to the middle and hubby can't get it to move.  I threw out the rice and bulgar since neither of them sits well with my pouch. 

Very busy at work.  For awhile I was so bored so I ask for more things to do and I got them.

Good afternoon!  I've already been to the office, worked on paper work, faxed a few things and now I'm home.  Frank is off today and he's mowing the yard.  I think we're going to go to the movies later.   I hope everyone enjoyed the meeting last night.  What I was hoping to accomplish was for people to try new things. Not everyone is going to be receptive and I'm OK with that.  I enjoyed myself and I hope everyone else did as well.  Maybe you found something you liked that you never tried before.  This surgery is all about change but you still have to live life and be able to enjoy things like cinnamon protein pretzels YUM!  ;)  Next month I'm thinking about having a personal trainer and nutritionist.  Then in September is plastic surgeon Dr. Hawes. Can't wait for that one. Then its someone elses turn to take over. ;)  Well I hope everyone has a wonderful day.  It was really nice to meet some new friends last night and see some I don't see that often again.  Can't have too many friends in my opinion! Just thought I would jump in and say hey...

Susan tell Andy that we put up another antenna and now we get about a dozen different channels... with the box he gave us!  Please thank him again for it.  Still have to do a bit of adjusting to get all the kinks worked out of it but looks promising for sure!

I'm reading all the post and keeping up with you all... my prayers go with Renee for the very perfect will of the Lord in her life, protection and wisdom.

Had to chuckle at Jo... about the turn table... that is a source of real frustration at my house... I get so aggravated at mine till I want to say something "unseemly" ~tee hee

You know all the months I walked out in the rain, snow, sleet and every manner of weather imaginable and I did not get sick... I only have 2 months left on my goal of walking at least 4 miles every day and now I'm down with a horrific cold/sinus etc. etc. but I have managed to get out there anyway and walk but boy oh boy has it been tough!  I'm so thankful for the bit of cooler weather they say we are going to have... I pull myself up out of the bed or chair and drag out there and do my thing... I would appreciate any bit of prayer any could say for me to get over this real quick so I can finish the commitment I made.

I'm always so glad to hear you folks down in the Springfield area have such good meetings.  Lou sounds like you are just wonderful at leading the group.  Would of loved to hear of Brenda's experience.

Pooh ~ you are doing just real fine... take heart lady bug!  So sorry about all that your momma is having to go thru!  And hope your other trials will work out ok.

Mimi ~ maybe I can make it to the next boot camp you have ... I could lead the walking and you could ride right along side!  That would be funny.

I'm praying for a quick and complete recovery of Miss Pegg.  Wish I could see her but I dare not with this crud I have... would be terrible to give her something when she is already compromised.  Any way my thoughts and prayers are with her!

Well better head back to the bed and get a bit of a nap before it's time to take the next one! ~ha
