Crock Pot Spiced Apples
These apples remind me of the apples Cracker Barrel server but these are healthy.
6 large apples, cored, peeled & chopped into 1/2" pieces
1/2 cup Splenda
2 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. salt
3 T. SF butterscotch pudding mix
2 t. lemon juice
2 t. vanilla
1 cup boiling water*
*Next time I will cut back on the water as mine were a little more syrupy than I wanted. Probably depends on how juicy the apples are.
Put all the ingredients in the pot except the water and toss to coat. Pour boiling water oer the top and cook on high for 3 to 4 hours.
