Hi Cutie....

Thanks for the words of encouragement....this one is wigging me out just a bit.  Biggest procedure I have been thru...yet...lol.

Dr. Richard Korentager...he works with KU Med and I was very impressed with him and his staff.  (I have his info if you want it.)  They are busy but very laid back....we were all joking and kidding like we had been friends for years.

You don't know how I wish I could this weekend but I am thrilled that you and that cutie bug are going.  Make sure you see how Miss Peg looks...I'm sure Jan will just crow about her...heehee.  I am so glad she has that stove...j

Love you too...see you Thursday!

Peggy, I'm wishing you the best Thursday.  I'm sure everything will be fine.

I would like to have plastic surgery on my tummy and maybe my arms but my insurance won't pay and I can't afford it.  I'm hoping exercise will tighten up my tummy and arms some.

Peggy so glad to see back on and know that i will be praying for you on Thursday morning. You will be just fine. nothing will happen so dont worry about it. really i dont think it is much more invasive than the lap wls...you will feel so much better after the surgeyr...
wow if i could afford it i would be having a lower body lift and my arms done and a real tummy tuck not just removal of skin. but the first would be a face life. i am going to get in touch with the teaching hospital in Dallas and see what they charge for a face lift, no joke....this fall and early winter im getting the skin removed off tummy and replace my other knee then i should be able to go back to work at least maybe part time. and save my money for the face lift. ...cant wait.
love you lady and as soon as you feel well come down to see me.

Sorry Jan...but this is major surgery.  They can't do it lap and will have to open me at the bikini line.  You can see now why I am a little concerned.  I know it is the second most common surgery done on women so I'm not worried, just apprehensive.  I've never had anything done on this level.  But I know I will be better after it is over and I have recovered.

Thanks.

I just got back from a birthday lunch for a co-worker at Chipotle.  Haven't gone with the group since before WLS last July.  Many times they go some place that is just too expensive.  A $16.95 lunch is way out of my budget.  I had black beans, grilled chicken, lettuce and guacamole.  I have a fear of getting sick in a restaurant but I ate very slowly and no problems.

Hubby is going to the Royals game tonight with a group from church.  They all take treats.  I made a pan of brownies for him to take.  I did something really bad and I paid for it.  I was cutting up the brownies and ate one.  NEVER NEVER again!!  It made me so sick.  I went to bed thinking my tummy would settle down but it didn't.  I guess I dumped.  That thick saliva formed and about 1:30 the brownie came up and I felt much better.  For over a year I've been so careful so don't know why I ate it.  Sure wasn't worth it.
