So mad at my Dr

I am so upset with my dr right now. I just called his office only to be informed he no longer agrees with my surgery decision. I have no idea what is going on with him...He was so supportive in office. I was close to having my first month of dr supervised weight loss attempt behind me now to have to probably find a new dr and start all over. This is crazy!!! I am so upset and hurt with him right now.

 First here is big ole Pooh hug{{{{{{{{SUZY}}}}}}}}.Please DO NOT let this get you down.Where there is a will there is away. When you find a new Dr the supervised weight loss you have been doing should count.Just make sure all your records are sent to your new pcp.
There are many bumps and hurdles to go over through this process.But I know you can make it.Just keep your chin up and fight for what you want.You CAN DO this.You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Suzy most all of us have been disappointed a lot of times along the way getting to the surgery but it will be worth it for sure....just sit down tomorrow with the phone book and call all of these doctors offices and see if they have any objections against weight loss surgery?  or if you can get out and go around to each one of them...would be ok too.  ask if they have ever worked with someone that is trying to get wls and what it entails. and be sure you get your records from your old pcp when you do find one so those can count. .....the path way to wls isnt easy and the path was after weight loss surgery isnt easy either ....but it is doable and you will lose weight if you will follow the rules. so we are here for you to rant and rave if you need to. but you will find a good pcp i just know it. and they will work with you all the way....Mine didnt know anything really about it , she hadnt had any patients that had the surhgery but she worked with me well and she got in touch with my surgeon and had him to fax her all sorts of stuff that she should know.  so there are good ones out there,.....

Thanks so much Jan! They are suppose to have my records ready wednesday so I will pick them up then.I am thinking about calling st alexius (surgery place) and see if they have a recomendation for a dr that is good with this. Do you think that will work? If this don't work I will start on the phone book.

yes that would work and even if you have to drive a little ways to go see him it will be worth it in the end....bless your heart keep up the good work it will pay off in the end....
