WHATS HAPPENING SUNDAY EDITION

Hi Missouri...

Yes, I'm alive but barely...haha.  Shelby made it home safely but with quite a bit of drama...with flights being delayed and such.  Sometimes I hate airlines.  We spent about 3 weeks together and we are both exhausted.  Plus we had to make time to go see my mom and all the visiting of friends of family here in KC.  I'm just tuckered out.

I will be having another surgery this Thursday.  I'm really beginning to wonder how many body parts can possibly be removed!  I know this one is going to be a good thing I just don't relish the down time.  And I don't care for hospitals but I am grateful that he will keep me for a few days.  And they have been warned about the seizures so they will keep an eye on me for those.  Not a good thing to happen w/stitches...lol.  Hubby has a few days off (FMLA) so he will be with me and then take me to my follow up appointment.

No strike yet...but they are still "negotiating"  HA!  Rumor has it that another section's contract expires in August so that is when the real talks will start.  Power in numbers they say.  The problem is that these guys are working w/o a contract and no union representation.  So the company can fire them for no reason....and that stinks.  One guy they fired had 30 years!!!

Our 27th anniversary was Friday....can you believe it?  We didn't do much since he had to work late again.  We did go to dinner and then spent yesterday together.  Saw the movie "UP"...outstanding and hilarious.  Of course, I love anything Pixar.

Well...I really don't know how I will feel after Thursday, I've heard it can take awhile to feel normal.  So if I am MIA, you know why.  I will make sure that Mark lets you know if anything goes awry.  I have so much to get done before then....the house needs cleaning, laundry, a package to ship to the girl and tons of other things.  So I won't be around for a bit...but I sure do think of each and every one of you.

Love and hugs

Peggy

Hi back at ya....

I am so glad she's in the house!  Mark is so tickled that she went to somebody who will love her and use her.  You will want an oven thermometer, tho....I seem to remember the oven being cooler than the setting.

They have to do my surgery open since it tilts backward...weird.  Leave it to me...lol.  And they will be taking everything so I have to start new meds and get adjusted to those.  I guess this is the biggest surgery I've been thru...I've never been kept two nights before.  I'm not worried...I just don't like pain.  I did tell him that liquid pain meds work better on me than pills.  And the will have me on a pain pump while I am in.

I would love to see pics of the trailer and your new kitchen w/Miss Peg in place.  Bet it is pretty.

Love you sweetie....and you can bet your sweetness that I will be heading south someday soon....

i will send you pictures of Miss Peg, but she isnt in the trailer she is in the house , Big red is in the trailer. and is pretty too....but my kit with Miss Peg in there is my crown jewel....everyone that comes in and sees her just has a fit over her. lol....my next thing i want for my kitchen is a farm house sink....but oh my they are expensive , dont know how i will ever get it. ...thanks again for selling her to me.  love you and when i had that surgery it was open and they took out everything but i was so so sick and in such pain that i felt 100% better the day after surgery even with the pain. the pain isnt that bad....really it isnt...just have to make yourself stand up as straight as you can right away and make yourself move around....I was out dancing in 3 weeks lol i heal fast tho. love you babe and you bet that anytime you want to head south come on down. dont care what i have going i will rearrange for you....anytime.

OH MY GOSH!!!

Are you really going to come up here for this???  You silly girl!  That means the world to me but I do not want you to go out of your way just for this.  I won't tell you NOT to because I know you better than that...lol.  I will tell Mark to look for you in case they won't bring you back.  My surgery is at 7:30, I have to be there at 6 so don't kill yourself getting up here.

You are just too sweet!  And we will get together again as soon as I feel better.  I wanted to visit you sooner but that girl darn near killed me!

Love you!
