WHATS HAPPENING SUNDAY EDITION

Wow wasn’t Friday and Saturday beautiful? I worked so hard outside getting things done that I have had to let go because of the humidity that I about pooped out..i was in bed asleep by 9pm and that is really really early for me....

Hope today is going to be as pretty. It is suppose to be nice too but you know you never can tell here in the Ozarks till the day is over.

 

My grand daughter , Teresas daughter, came down last night and will be here for awhile today....i haven’t seen them in almost a year I guess. Wow didn’t realize it had been that long. Her little boy is one of the babies in the one year olds birthday party....i told them that this coming Feb we intend to have another party this year...we can have it in Branson somewhere if they want to help pay for it. that way it will be sort of central located for the other 3 that have babies  except for Sarah and if she will come up for that week end she can stay with me and we can make sure everything is set up for them....dont know what there is there but I know there is something that will be fun for them at 3 oh my goodness I cant believe they will all be 3...

Another granddaughter is expecting her first one in Sept. date is the 11^th my sons, her dads , birthday too. we have a lot of people in Sept too with birthdays so close together.

 

Joe and I have had so much fun with the great grand baby he is so sweet ...and even picked up his toys when he got done playing...lol never saw that before out of a two year old. All the time he was picking up his toys he was just singing  about cleaning up cleaning up. Lol

 

Well Kim is suppose to come down this morning sometime before noon...will be fun to have all of them here.Ive got a picture of me and my 3 great grand kids about a year and a half ago....will have someone to take a picture of me  with them again. 

 

Well there wasn’t much going on  the board yesterday was there. 

 

I guess Renee got her youngest one married yesterday . so now she is as free as the birds...better watch her now. Lol ...no telling what she will do lol .....I hope she posts some of the pictures of the wedding. Sounds like it will be pretty ...

Good morning everyone.it sure was pretty yesterday and the day before.we hope it stay's like that.sure was cool yesterday morning.

jan sound's like you and joe are having fun with the grandbabies.kid's sure do grow up fast.with the new great grandbaby coming in sept how many does that ive you now?we know you will find some way of spoiling them.that is what a grandmother is for.lol.

jo cong on your weight loss.we lose weight when we dont think we will.it sneek's up on us.how is your craft room coming along?that will be a nice place for you even to do your sewing.your back yard and deck sound's like a nice place to sit.how are your furry babie's doing today?when andy and i were getting ready to move our two furry kid's knew something was going on.they are smart.we had to make sure they knew they were coming with us.chrissy sure stick's by my side and mecko stick's by andy.

i have a wow moment too.i am only 2 pound's away from being 199 pound's.yheeeee.that is only one pound away from having lost 90 pound's.it was 4 month's this past friday since i had surgery.it is the best thing i ever did.i feel soo much better.

andy and i wanted to let you know that we will not be at the support meeting this month.my brother and his family are coming to see us this friday.we have not seen them in a while and want to spend some time with them.they will be here about a week before they go back home.my sister in law start's school august the 10.she is a fourth grade teacher.we will be at the august meeting for sure.we will miss you all but we will be back.

congrats to you on the weight loss.....need to get Andy to change your ticker tape thingy....lol and i see by his ticker that he has lost another 2 pounds too....wow you two , wish i could get this ole body of mine to give up some more fat, i think the only way im going to get more off is by cutting it off so im calling Dr Hawes tomorrow and going to see when i can get it taken care of. and as soon as i get over that i will schedule having my other knee done, dont seem like it is going to get better lol ...
when the new baby is born it will be 4 great grand babies then wow. you know when i was young i couldnt imagine what it would be like to have grandbabies, to be that old  and now i have Great Grands....as You say Susan , time flies when you are having fun lol

Been MIA for a while. Just too busy during the day and too tired at night. I do good just to find time to read the board. LOL

With the death of my good friend recently came some depession and them my son has been without transportation for a month so mom is taxi again. Really came at a good time. Made me get out. Then busy with vacation Bible school.

Jan, how long will you granddaughter stay? If you need me to reschedule, I can. No problem. Maybe we will stay in Banson and come visit. Will that work?

Haven't heard from Peggy, she told me they were going to be really busy and she would call me if they got time to go to lunch. I haven't bothered her, she needs this visit with her daughter.

"Baby" is doing great. She makes us laugh everyday. She is truly a blessing.

Barbara NO dont you dare reschedule your date to come down.....I am going to drop Vesta a note and see if she wants to come down too if i can find her address. I am excited to get to see you again. No my granddaughter went home today, she and her hubby both have to be at work tomorrow.  but it was so so good to see her again.  She is trying to get pregnate again. and is so excited about it. ...

No worries, we will be there. Anissa and I will be coming, No baby. Hubby wants her to stay with him. LOL

Wish our weather was like it is now all the time.  Sure don't miss that humidity. 

I spent about 2 hours in the dentist office at a cost of $800 for a crown.  Insurance is paying all but $320.  Glad I have the insurance but don't know why a crown costs so much.  That goop they use to make the mold of your teeth is just awful. 

Susan, good for you on your weight loss.  You are doing great.  Andy too.  I thought I felt good before surgery but now I feel so much better and have so much energy.    I tried a couple things from years past and couldn't believe how big they are.  A skirt fell off.  Of course it has an elastic band, didn't know about waistbands until now.  It's a straight skirt so I'm going to take it in.  A dress that's a 1X looks like a sack on me but it's easy to alter too.  It's just a basic A-line dress.

The craft room is about ready for crafting.  The floor needs to be mopped and floor tile put down.  Max needs to install the AC although right now it's fine out there with the window open.  I'm sure that will change.

I was hanging a mirror in the living room (yes, I'm actually putting up a mirror) and the "kids" went to the bedroom.  They just don't like the  racket I was making.

I have Clouds in the oven.  I hope they turn out well.  This is the third time I've made them and the other 2 batches didn't turn out so well.  We're having burgers tonight so I hope I have a "bun" Cloud for my burger.  Last night we had grilled chicken and sauted okra......yum.

I have Spicy Apples cooking in the slower cooker.  They are seasoned with cinnamon, Splenda and SF butterscotch pudding mix.  If they're good, I'll post the recipe.

Jo i must have missed the post about clouds....what are they? and how do you make them? yeah if your apples you have in the crock pot turn out good let us know..they sound good.

Good morning Missouri ;)  Today I feel like I've been ran over by bus.  We went with a bunch of friends and family floating yesterday.  What a beautiful day it was.  We had 7 canoes worth of people and I totally got fried.  I'm so mad at myself for letting this happen.  I'm the queen of sunscreen and I didn't apply enough and it was cool so I didn't feel myself burning.  I look like a lobster.  Today I have to go to Rogersville to show a house and unless she wants to write an offer I'm going to come home and take a nap.  We left yesterday at 8 am and got home at 9pm.  Sun and water + sunburn= tired.  Congratulations JO and SUSAN on the weight loss! oh wow Lou i know that sunburn has to hurt.....I know you know better but sometimes we just forget stuff or at least that is what i tell myself lol 
it has been years and years since i had a sunburn....i may get red but just turn brown....my arms are so brown now that they look like leather  i use sunscrean but it doesnt  seem to help keep me from turning browner....take care use some alo vera on it. I keep a big bottle in my fridg and then if someone gets a burn the cold helps cool it down and takes some of the burn out....
