What Is Happening Friday

Good morning everyone.hope your friday is going well for you soo far.this week sure did fly by fast.the sun is out bright this morning here.so nice to see for a change.the weather said last night down to around 57 for sat and sun night.

jan did you get all the problem's with your computer fixed?how is joe and rebel doing.we saw the really dark sky here yesterday then they left and the sun came out.did you all get any heavy rain down there yesterday afternoon?

sugar we are glad you made it back ok.sound's like you had a lot of fun on your trip.

jo i know what you mean by not being able to walk at a zoo a few year's ago.the last time i went to a zoo  had to keep on stopping and sitting down.it is soo nice to be able to walk better now since surgery.how is the sewing coming along for you.

janet did you get renee dress smaller?you both look soo good.it is a great feeling when something is too big to wear.
andy is doing great.he is below 300 pound's now.i am getting really close to 200 pound's.it is 4 month's today sincei had my surgery.almost 90 pound's gone.i feel soo much better.
i wear a size 16 pant's with elastic waist.i am in a size 14 dress.some of the top's i wear are a x-large and some are a large.all depend's how some thing's are made.size 16 short's.
we like our place.we do live closer to branson.10 minute's from there.andystarting school next month.closer to school for him and we are only 5minute's from my dad's nursing home if something would happen to him.the only way he know's us or someone else is in person or a picture.the nurses can tell him we saw your daughter in town and he wont know who they are talking about.
we have not seen a lot of the other regular's on here in a while either but we sure do miss them.

pooh bear hope you are feeling better today?our bread and butter pickel's turned out good.thank's for the recipe.andy and i made them togther.he is a good cook.
i know what you mean about not having any insurance.come sept i wont have any.we got a letter saying they are raising our spend down for sept.so andy and i will both be losing our medicade.we were told they do not hardy give any kind of break for social sec.our monthly payment to keep our mo health net card's would be 900.00 a month or a little more.

 Not much new going on here. I am happy for the nice weather we are supposed to have this weekend. I still have tons of yard work to do. I haven't done any in a week because its been wet and way to humid.
I have two friends who in the last two weeks decided to end their marriages. One has three small children. Even without kids its a sad thing to have to deal with. My heart goes out to them. I know I have had my share of troubles and am thankful to have survived. They are in my thoughts and prayers.
I hope things are going well for all of you. With all the weddings and new grand babies I know you are happy having family around. I am planning to be at the meeting on the 27th. I sure hope nothing happens to mess it up for me. I haven't been to a support meeting for a while. I could use some reinforcement.

Good Morning All...

Popping in to say hi... have been out for my walk this morning and was back before 6:00 a.m. it was so WONDERFULLY COOL!!!  Oh it was nice!

Can you believe those honeysuckle are still smelling so strongly!  Just wonderful!  But the two pooches that walk with me ran right into a skunk in front of me and got sprayed!!! kinda ruined the honeysuckle smell.... boy am I glad I was not close enough to get sprayed too!!!!  The canine are too dangerous to hang with!!! ~tee hee

Well I will have family overnight tonight and then neighbors over for supper tomorrow night so have been cooking for that this morning....

I also have lots of yard work to do as well and it is just so nice to be out there... I'll have to get busy on that as well.  As always I have several projects started and so have enough to keep me occupied.

Have made it past the 100 lbs lost mark now... it seems they do not come off as fast as they were for awhile and I thought is was slow then... oh well it's coming off so I need to be satisfied with that I guess.  It looks like it will take me the WHOLE 18 months to get to goal.

Jo took some new pics of me I guess I will have to see if I can get them to load... I know they will have to be re-sized and I'm not sure I can remember how to do that?

It's always good to get on and see how everyone is doing...

So happy that Renee got to see her new grand baby and so excited for her that she has reached her goal!

Good to see the new ones posting too. It is still fresh in my mind just a year ago when I was going thru all the pre~op appts. and all the wonderful help I received here on the board! 

Sure has been a different year for me... I'm so thankful for all the positive changes I've seen in my health this past year! 

Well I have lots to do before the folks get here so better chop chop!

What a beautiful morning!  I wish I could have sat out on the deck with my coffee but not today, maybe tomorrow morning.  Tomorrow afternoon I'm have a tooth capped....ugh.  I considered rescheduling but I might as well get it over with.

Last night I went to Fashion Bug to use my $10 coupon.  They have mixed misses with plus sizes and I don't like it at all.  Customers were all over the store trying to find their sizes.  I got a really cute top for 50% off.  I've gotten many, many compliments on it.  Would have never worn something so bold before WLS.  It's black, deep red and white, little ruffle on the sleeve.  Of course I have to wear a tank top under it or I would have been showing way too much of me!!  I also got a purse for $20, almost identical to one I saw at the mall for $40. 

Bec, I have a new picture of me still in the camera that I'm thinking of putting on here instead of my fur babies.  I'll put them in my sig line.  Takes me forever to unload the camera. 

My sewing stack keeps getting larger.  I have lots of things to alter.  Some things are just not worth the time though.  When I can get slacks at the thrift store for $3 I'm not going to spend hours altering the ones I have.

I tried something new that I really liked.  I put Ricotta cheese in some meat sauce.  It was about as good as lasagna and way lower in carbs.  No pasta Jan.....did you hear that!!

sounds like you are doing well on the clothes...i havent bought anything in about a year ...when i got to size 10 my body said STOP and so that is where i have stayed..will be 3 years next month....i thnk if i ever went and got the  toskin removed off my tummy i could wear 8s ...but just havent done it yet....waiting for someone to push me i guess.lol
your blouse sounds really cute....
i wear a lot of pretty colors now to i guess we dont mind people looking at us now... keep up the good work...you will find that you dont need those carbs from pastas and if you really start craving some of it go buy dreamfields pasta it comes in all shapes and sizes and you cant tell the difference ...

Oh my I have to agree with everyone! This weather is wonderful!!!! I took the kiddos outside for close to 2 hours this mornig and I opened up the house and all the fresh air feels so good. Our dogs are totally loving it. My siberian Huskey could not wait to get outside to play. I think it was Susan asked if we made it to the zoo and we did. Oh man did I get a walk in wednesday...LOL We had to park like a half mile from the zoo then  all the walking in there we figured we ended up walking around 3 1/2 miles total at the zoo then we went to wal-mart and done more. The kiddos had such a great time and the 2 littles ones they are 1 & 2 had so much fun this time. Jadon the 2 year old is really in to bugs and he just had a blaxt at the insectiterium and the butterfly dome where they just fly all over. We all had such a good time and made lots of woderful memories.

It sounds like gardening for the most part is going good for the ones who have one. I really miss my garden this year. I am not sure of your name but somebody got to meet their grandbaby. Congratulations that is so wonderful. My mom died 2 years ago when Jadon was 4 months old and Liam was born the January after she died in May. I still am so sad for them cause Jadon nor Liam will have memories of their nanny and Liam never even seen her.  Since Cliftons family is not a part of our lives my mom was their only grandma except great grandmas. My moms mom is stepping in  as much as possible but she has crippling arthritis and she has not been able to get around since I was a little girl but she does what she can which is wonderful.

Well sorry this was so long I guess I just got chatting ...LOL

Going to walmart shortly to get all my goodies to start making my pickles.  Dad left a $20 for me to buy vinegar and sugar etc... I found my Mom's recipe so wish me luck and its a 3 week process.  I have never done these before.  I have to start these tonight as I am on call tomorrow so I don't want to start something and then stop as If I get called in - I have 30 minutes to get to the hospital. 

Jan - did you find out anything about the zucchini?  Mine are all but dead and the cucumbers are rapidly dying also. 

But the good news is the tomatos are starting to turn.  I am getting about 2 a day so far.  I gave away 2 - 5 gallon buckets of greenbeans last night and still have 2 rows to pick in the next day or so.  Have I told you all how tired I am getting of greenbeans?  Remind me when I complain about the cost this winter...

yes just got the email while ago from the conservation office ,,,they said it was because of all the cloudy weather in July when it should have been bright sun....warm weather crops have to have full sun to produce and they didnt this year. he said that if the weather clears off and is sunny and warm for the next month that thye might do ok....cucumbers are the same way too....he said that everyone is complaining about that this year
