Good morning everyone.hope everyone is having a good weekend soo far.sure is going to be a hot day again.we were outside with the furry baby's around 1130pm and it stll was very humid.we got some rain and loud thunder but it did not last for long.jan thank's again for doing the post for me while we got moved.anytime you want to do it again full time just let me know.how are you feeling today"better we hope.
lou grilled shrimp sound's good.we dont eat fried food's either.did you all get the fan up in your mom's house?a woman's work is never done.lol.
janet sure was good to see you on here again.hope you get to come to the meeting this month.we sure do miss seeing you.cong on your wedding ann.we like to renew our vow's on our 25 ann which is in two year's.sorry to hear about mike's uncle passing away.we are praying for you all.how big is your sweet granddaughter now.kid's sure do grow up fast.
suzy we hope to get to meet you soon also.my husband and i did not live that far from where you live.i have a brother that live's in ironton.we are praying that everything goes quick for you with the doctor's so you can have your surgery.my husband and i have both had the surgery and we feel soo much better.are you a dallas cowboy's fan.we are.we got to go to one of their game's year's ago in texas.

Good Morning Missouri,
Just thought I would pop in here and say howdy this morning....
Boyee was it already a sauna bath out there this morning at 4:30 when I stepped out there to walk! Yuck... I sweat like a pig! ~tee hee The flies were terrible and biting! Ok done griping! ~ha I sure am tempted to "wear the carpet out" as Paul says on days like these and I think the forecast is to be even worse the next few days! ugh
Can you believe that the honeysuckle is still ever so fragrant? That is the good part of the walk. It has lasted so so long this year, but then there are MASSIVE bunches of them. I just love that fresh smell!
I had to laugh at two of the neighborhood dogs at the first of the week... I had gone out a few minutes early for my walk and they were not at the end of the drive waiting for me as usual so I walked the whole block that means one side is on the highway (if they are with me I only walk half the block and turn around so they don't get hurt) and I would come by there house from the opposite side of where they set and wait for me... well as I came over the hill the one was setting right in the middle of the road staring intently at my driveway. When I came up behind him and he seen that it was me the shock that registered on his face was priceless! He certainly was not expecting me to come from that direction! It was just too funny. I had skirted them and now they realized they were not going to get to go that day! Now should I be getting that much pleasure from that??? Heck yeah! It doesn't take much to please me! ~tee hee Those silly dogs are always so happy to see me but they jump on me and have knocked me down several times... now since it is so hot the one pants like crazy and when you listen to that for a hour and twenty minutes it gets annoying! but then I'm panting right along with him! ~ha
It was so good to see Renee and Janet give a bit of an update.
Renee~ how exciting about your daughter's wedding! Goodness you are so close to your goal... WAY TO GO!!!
Janet~ boy I wish they were telling me not to lose any more weight... NOT the case at all! I still have 40/50 lbs to go! It sure seems like these last lbs are harder to lose than the 1st hundred?
Sandy sounds like you have your hands full with that garden... sure wish mine would have done better this year... but then I just was not home at the crucial time to take good and proper care of it... there will be no graduations, traveling "projects", and big vacations to take next year maybe I will get a better handle on it?
Susan ~ glad you are all moved and settling in the new place. Sure hope you enjoy it... and wish I had that pool to exercise in! I know you will enjoy that.
Mimi ~ will try and send you the recipe soon. You be careful out there in the heat...even the early morning and late evening are treacherous and we will be waiting to hear how your Dr. appt turns out... hopefully nothing serious.
Jo ~ thank you so much for the information on the repair shop I will have to look into it. Sure have some BIG sewing projects I want to get started on.

Susan your brother is not far from us at all. We are hoping to move closer to st louis in the next couple of years sooner would be nice. I hope u r enjoying your new place.

OOps I forgot to add yes I am a cowboys fan. We have been for years. Clifton wants to go to a game so bad but we have never made it and at this size I will not go with him for fear of not fitting in the seats. He does not want to go without me which I think I sweet but I don't want to keep him from doing things. He could with our sons and they would have a great time.

Hot and humid here but I'm staying inside. DH has worked outside all day and he loves it. I did dust and vacuum. I have a ton of sewing to do, so many alterations for me. Altering to make smaller is fine though. Some of my tops are 18-20 and look like maternity tops. I'm giving them away. They came from Walmart so the consignment shop won't take them.
Tonight I'm making spaghetti with chicken sausage. I tasted the sausage at the store and it's very good. I'm going to take the sausage out of the wrap it's in, can't think what you call it, so it will be easier on my pouch. Not sure I can eat the spaghetti but DH loves spaghetti. I'm trying to eat more like the dietician said.
OH magazine has a good article about carbs and exercising. I'm going to quit worrying about carbs and just eat healthy from all the food groups.
I finally found Greek yogurt and Fage. Really like the Fage but it is a little pricey.

I guess summer is here to stay for a while. I do not mind the heat to much but the humidity still kills me. I am staying inside as much as possible. We are hosting trivia night at our house tonight so I had lots to do inside. DH has the air on iceberg. I have to keep moving or get under a blanket. One extreme to another.
Anyone near me going to Marylin's daughters wedding next week? I am going stag so if you need a ride let me know.
