well looks like we were posting our post at the same time. wish i had know you were for sure going to do it. thanks a lot anyway you got it from now on will continue to do Sundays. ...i sort of missed doing it for awhile but when i agreeded to do it again during the week it was a hassel.again real quick. ....glad you like to do it.

Good morning everyone! TGIF! WOOOHOOO! lol I'm ready for the weekend. We are going with some friends tonight to see the movie Bruno. Tomorrow night there is a fish fry and my dad said he would grill some shrimp for me that he got in the gulf. ;) Its sweet since he knows I'm not going to be eating anything fried. Him and I went last night out to dinner at Hinode. Its my favorite place to eat. Japanese steak house. I had grilled shrimp, he had steak, it was great. He had never been and really enjoyed it. We made a pack for him to at least try sushi before he leaves. We'll see, he said he's scared LOL Today Frank is off and we are going to go install a ceiling fan at my moms house, its beautiful staianed glass. Nothing too exciting going on here. Looks like rain, I hope it does, my yard is so dry. 5 more lbs to onderland. ;) I'm getting there! Looking forward to the meeting. I'm getting all my protein samples together. Dr. Hawes ( plastic surgeon) agreed to speak in Sept. power point too. He's great, I loved working with him and does a fantastic job. Can't wait to get him to do my full body make over. ;) I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! Lou ;)
Hi Susan, Aunt Jan and OH Peeps!
Man......O Man have I missed you guys!!!!!! I know, I know....Its been FOREVER....so many wont even know who I am, huh? LOL.... I cant even begin to tell you whats been going on since I have been MIA. Most know I am a grandma now. A title I cherish and wouldnt trade for anything!!! She just smiles at me, and my heart melts! I cannot blame her for my being MIA tho. I really cant. She isnt the reason. I dont see her nearly as often as Id like!!
Of course I will not be able to catch up with everything in this post or it would be a novel, so I will just do a little overview and then I will do my best to get on a couple times a week.....at least till the boys get back to school and I get into a routine and my time is MY time once again?? Whats that?? LOL.....(Janet time, really??) In my abscence: Mike and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary with a vow renewal in Eureka Springs, AR- Just the two of us, and it was so romantic. We have the most amazing pictures-and those pictures, to this day, bring tears to my eyes, because it SHOWS the love. They are amazing. We went on our family vacation, and while we were there, the engine in our SUV blew up. It rained every day but 2 and so we did not get to go boating/fishing from the boat as we had wanted due to the rain.......(we sure didnt let that RUIN our vacation LOL) We were home for 4 days and got a call from Arizona that Mikes favorite Uncle, that he was closest to in all of his family members was in coma and they were calling the family out. Before we could make it out, uncle Tom passed away. I had to tell Mike that Uncle Tom, that I also had become very close to-had died. WHAM. Mike had lost his dad AND his uncle Tom, all within 7 months. Mike became withdrawn and depressed, but also needy and very protective of where the boys and I went. He couldnt understand how he could lose his dad and his uncle-2 major hitters in his life-that close together, and Mike doesnt deal with death very easily-not that anyone does, but=what am I trying to say here-I know you know what I mean. Right? It didnt help that Dad didnt have a service, so no closure, and uncle Tom chose the same.......so here we go again......so closure again!!! This has been a really rough couple of months here. Fathers Day was VERY difficult. Very Very hard. His dad and him werent real close until the older years, but him and his uncle Tom, they were close from the time he was a little boy. His uncle Tom was his "surrogate" dad....the one who filled in when his dad was the otr truck driver and taught him how to fish and hunt and took him camping and bowling and all that good stuff.....so yah. Its been a rough summer so far.
We got the engine on the SUV rebuilt. So, thats done. Not cheap tho. Cheaper than a brand new vehicle. LOL.....since Mike and his adopted dad did the work....should last for awhile (knock on wood).
Stephanie....MY STEPHANIE....GRADUATED....WOOOO HOOOO.....AND ON THE HONOR ROLL!!!!!!! After all the crrrrrruuuuuuddddd *crud* we went through with her.....its a done deal! I watched her walk! YAY! It was a proud, proud moment! I am also very proud to say that as I type this, she is at church camp. She is working full time. She also has a VERY NICE BOYFRIEND! His name is Nick. We ALL like him! She met him at church. He is VERY family oriented. His family is very important to him. He graduated 2 yrs ago and also works full time! Can you tell Im excited? LOL.... That awful boyfriend is gone forever....yeah!!!! Stephs biological dad and Mike and I were able to give her a cute little Nissan sportscar for her graduation!! She loves it- and its got t-tops, so I love it when she takes her mommy for rides!!!
The boys are doing great! We are getting ready to build a "fort" out of spare wood etc around here-they are excited and I will post some pics of it when we get it done! Its just me and the boys building this! LOL...We are excited about it. So, when we arent in the pool or playing with the RC cars or doing the garden stuff-were getting our plans ready for that. Its been tough staying on top of the yard lately tho. The pool took quite a bit of work this yr tho. Whole story.....later...LOL
Ok-so...Yes, I am looking at surgeries still.....I am losing MORE weight now.....not purposely however. I AM NORMAL tho, for the first time in my life....I am NORMAL in my BMI.....Do a little dance......(baby circle). YES.. THEY ARE BEING ADDRESSED....YES...JANET IS....TAKING care of JANET......I AM.....its just that other things have come up that I have had NO control over, that have to be taken care of first! They are too.
I am NOT mad at anyone. I had almost 500 emails. I have only been on the computer like 3, maybe 4, or 5 times since Feb or so? Thats pretty sad....I know. BAD, BAD.......I am going to be better. I AM! I AM!
Aunt Jan-I am addressing you individually, because I saw where you were addressing Renee and asking her if I was mad at you-Sweety- NO WAY! NO HOW! Im so sorry if you ever thought that! I love you and uncle Joe! I miss you and Im terribly terribly sorry for ever making you feel like I was mad....Please forgive me! Sending you loads of love.... lots of hugs and kisses!

Thanks for letting me join in everyone. Well my drs office called and got the info from me of where
i wanted to go to have surgery. They are more lost then I thought at first with this process. So it looks like I will be going to ST Alexius New Start in st louis. I was wanting a DS but I can't find no dr in in our area that does this. With ins constraints I can't go to a different state either. So I think my drs office may be calling st alexius and maybe they can help them out as what they need to do now with my failed weight loss attempts I need to do. I have my dr attempt on started so that is good. It is ashame they will not let me do the Weigh****chers attempt at the same time...LOL but I am sure that would not be accepted. I can't wait to get this surgery and get started with my new life.
It looks like everyone is doing so good in their weight loss and staying very busy. I hope to get to know everyone better in the coming weeks.
