Yes Medicaid does pay in other states if the doctor and the hospital accept them.  I know that Dr. Anthone in Omaha uses the Methodist Hospital there and they do accept it.  Wish you well with your research.

I am in Sedalia, I think I sent you a pm about the seminar in Aug., but it might of got lost. Check your mail and see.  I am 3 and half yrs out and doing great.  Sure, I still feel fat, not sure when my head will caught up to my body, maybe never.  I just try to live one day at a time.  Keep me posted as you keep researching,.....I canceled my RNY and had to do all my labs over to get my DS, but it was well worth the wait.  There are several ladies around that has had part of the DS called the VSG with Dr. Hornbostel here in Sedalia.  I do know that he didn't know about the new DS, and stated a few facts that were really outdated.  I don't know to many VSG's that have done well with just it, most have to have the malabsorbtion part done to really lose all they need to lose.  I know there are several ladies that has done really well with the RNY and are still doing well, I just knew I needed more.  I love food and I enjoy eating, so I know that the DS was the right choice for me,....sure I have heard about some needing the RNY so they wouldn't eat sweets or potatoes or rice, but I just don't understand why you would want to make yourself sick if you just had to have a little chocolate,.....sure you can't have that stuff for the first 2  yrs, but after you reach goal, it's nice to eat what you like and not have to feel sick because of it.  I don't want to feel  bad, I want to enjoy life and what it has to offer.
If you want to talk sometime I would be glad to chat with you on the phone or messenger, I am getting ready for my daughters wedding in a week so right now I am totally freaking out.....lol ten times as much as her.  Well I gotta run let me know if you want to go to Omaha with us in Aug.  Hoping to go to the zoo too.
