I get really hot after I eat to fast or eat the wrong things and then get really sleepy.  Sometimes I can eat one thing then the next time it makes me sick.  Its a never ending live and learn...

I still miss my fur baby so much and have decided not to get another one.  At least with Cassie I can take her and go without it imposing on to many people when I bring her and her crate.

I picked over a dozen cucumbers last night and made cucumbers and onions - they are so good.  I never liked them until last year - oh how our tastes change.  I put to much splenda in them so had to tweak the vinegar a bit.  Our zucchini is going crazy now!  I have little cantelopes setting on - they are about the size of your thumb - I can't wait!!!

Hello everyone just wanted to pop on and say hello.i sure have missed being on here.andy and i are getting thing's put away in our new place.we finally got our phone and internet today.i went to see my regular doctor today.she said i am doing great.she took me off all my blood pressure med's.i am now at 204.yheeeeonly 4 more pound's to go and i will be at a 90 pound weight loss.i will be back on here more tomorrow.love you all.hug's to everyone.god bless.susan

Susan, you're doing great with your weight loss.  Bet you have a lot more energy now.

I had my 1 year follow up with the doctor and his crew yesterday.  He is pleased with my progress but wants me to lose another 20 lbs.  I want to lose 30 so I'm ok there.  The dieticisn said I need to eat more.  Never thought I would here that!!  I take in around 1000-1100 calories a day and she said I should have at least 1200.  I do have a fear of eating too much and gaining weight.  She said my body won't let go of fat with such a low calorie count.

The exercise guru wasn't happy with me for not exercising.  I need to workout at least 5 times a week doing strength training and cardio.  I'm really going to make an effort to do that.  My plan is to go to the gym 3 times a week and work out at home with bands and a video 2 times a week.

My lab work was great except I need more Vitamin D.  My B12 was high.  Instead of sticking with the plan I was given by my doctor, I switched to the vitamin schedule suggested by Bariactric Eating.  I eliminated the extra Vitamin D and was taking B12.  Looks like that's not a good plan for me.

She did tell me about Optisource vitamins at Walgreen that I can take instead of Bariatric Advantage.  She didn't approve of the Walmart vitamins.

So glad it's Friday although our annual meeting is this afternoon so I'll be sitting thru about 3 hours of that.
