WHATS HAPENING SUNDAY

We had a great 4^th of July , granddaughter and babies and husband came down Friday night and stayed all night . we had a wonderful time with them and the babies.....She came in carrying a bunch of groceries as she always does when she comes down. I have told her I love for her to come down but she doesn’t have to bring food too. She said Mimi as much as you did for Ryan and me when we didn’t have anything or anyone , we can never repay you for even a tenth of it....I almost didn’t know what to say....except that what we did we did out of love nothing else and didn’t expect to be paid back .  I told Joe after they left about what she said and  he about cried as I did....now isn’t that sweet.

 

Saturday we had the typical cook out I guess and  my son and his new girlfriend came down. She seems nice we will just have to wait and see. He doesn’t have the best track record as far as women go. He is a sweet loveable man but he has a tendency to pick the wrong women.

 

Our little community down here has really been popping this week end,. I guess people cant afford to go too far for vacation so they came down here with family and relatives for the week end. I think every house had at least 4 to 5 cars at them....

 

We had a great fireworks display. I mean it was about as good as most I have seen unless it was a big city. All the people that come down seem like they enjoy seeing who can top who with the fireworks....some really neat ones , some I had never seen before...had a really good time with the babies watching them...

 

SUGAR;;;;;hope you and Rick have many more happy years together. I know you will you were made for each other. ...Good luck on the mission trip....sure wish I was going with you. 

I hope that who ever we get to rent our rent house is a good Christian couple too. I know that to hope for another couple like Andy and Susan is hoping for a lot. 

 

 

SANDY::::we got a little rain today but not a lot....just a couple of nice showers. Was early in the day and didn’t have any effect on the cook outs or the fireworks...

 

Glad you got to talk to your daughter....so she is your little firecracker huh?

 

BARB:::::glad you are back from camping , sounds like Baby is glad to be back too lol

It really seems like you have got one spoiled baby on your hands lol  

Sorry to hear about your friend. That is hard to lose someone you love. I am praying for you . Love you

LOU:::: sounds like you and your daughter had a good time bonding yesterday. And I don’t think the service boys would think your were odd at all if you walked up to them and told them thanks, I think they would appreciate it to tell the truth...

Boy if I ever want to sell our place I think I will get you to sell it for us you sound like a real go getter .

Lol yeah I thought that was a good phrase ... and I love the idea that yes we do now have our independence from Fat

 

 

JO::::::glad that you got your machine back...it sounds like you are set to do some serious sewing.  I just don’t have the patience to sew with a machine. ...i get too agitated with the thread breaking  over and over again. Mama would say well your machine needs to be adjusted and she would sit down and sew and sew , I would sit down and the thread would break over and over again. so like I said I just couldn’t stand it.

 

 

SUSIE::::: glad you had a great fourth . sounds like it was really nice.... it wasn’t too bad here with the humidity today but now tomorrow I need to get back with all my work and it will be again im sure.

 

 

So who is Steve's new girlfriend and where is she from? This is interesting...did him and Cathy finally call it quits all together?

We had a commissioning service for Susan and I at church today and it was great that most of the church promised to pray for us. My ss class also prayed for me today and it was so sweet! They all gathered around me and held hands and layed hands on me and I was so comforted by it.

We are having our fireworks tonight with our family. Couldnt get together yesterday so today will do and if it doesnt rain we will be having fun later on. Going to use the firepit for the first time and roast weiners and make smores....Chelle is making old settlers beans and we will have deviled eggs and strawberry shortcake and watermelon...sounds like alot of desserts doesnt it? lol

Well, tomorrow will be crazy busy and may not get back on here but will try.

Everyone please pray for GOD's work to be accomplished and for HIM  to use me mightly for HIS glory... thanks!

Hey Jan and all;

Yes, Baby is glad to be back. She wouldn't go out side for about 24 hours without me picking her up and taking her out. I think she thought I was taking her camping again. LOL

I am going to try to come down sometime this month. Next month takes me to Texas to visit my remaining sibling, my brother. I am excited for that trip.
