Thank you God for the beautiful rain.....we really needed it as did the flowers and veggies. We have tomatoes that are almost ripe out in the garden , nice big ones and no sign of that awful end rot in site.
Susan the flowers beside the house are balsums and they come back by themselves every year.from the seeds that they drop the year before. they come up so thick that when they are coming up i put up half of them and they are still really really thick.....

Wanted everyone to say a prayer for my little sister please.....she leaves tomorrow for Costa Rica for a week on her mission trip.....Oh how i wish i was going with her....Thanks would appreciate it if you will.

I spent most of the day with the next door neighbors. They have a large family but they need someone to stay at the house while they are making arrangements. It took all afternoon yesterday at the funeral home. I do not think she will be able to stay in the house alone because her health is not good. They were such a sweet couple and had been married 65 years. She is completely lost right now. It just breaks my heart. I will be there today and tomorrow for most of the day.
I am glad its not so humid and the temps have dropped some. I hope it stays that way for a while. Its hot enough. Dh is doing better and he may have to do all the grass by himself this week.

I hope everyone is well and happy and has a wonderful day.

Susie, that's so sad.  I hate to hear that this has happened.  I will keep them in my thoughts and prayers.  Lou

Another beautiful day here, way less humidity.  DH worked outside all day yesterday and is outside today.  He loves it.  I would enjoy sitting on the deck with book and some iced tea in this weather.

Susan, the Clouds are only about 23 calories each and are made of eggs, cottage cheese or cream cheese.  I'll post the recipe if I ever figure out what I'm doing wrong.  The cake has about 10 grams of sugar but it tastes so sweet to me.  My pouch didn't like it at all.

My tastes continue to change.  The foods I prefer are healthy.  I'm back to not liking chicken very much and don't like eggs at all.  Turkey tastes just awful and  veggies I used to really like just don't taste right.  Carrots are about the only veggie I like.

It's great to have no cravings and not be bothered when people are eating things I don't eat like sweets.  It's really strange not to want sweets.  I grew up where we always had some kind of sweet available.  We always had dessert after dinner.

I should get my serger back Friday.  Sure hope so.  I don't like to do hems without finishing them with the serger.  I plan to work on sewing my new wardrobe this weekend.  This morning I had to change tops 3 or 4 times before I found one that fit.  That used to be a problem but it was because they were too tight.....not now!!

Sandy, so sorry about your dog.  It's the best thing to do if he is suffering but so hard on us dog moms.  I can't imagine being without my Sammy and Sophie.  I don't even like to go away for a few days and leave them.
