morning to everyone,
Sorry to hear you are moving Susan, but when one has to work I surely understand the travel time and gasoline.  I used to be a home health nurse for 9 years for Independence  Regional hospital and live 55 miles away.  There was never a day that I didnt put on 130 miles.  A good way to wreck an automobile.  But I loved the job.  Later on, I decided to work closer to home, just 14 miles away each way and chose to work at a nursing home.  I traveled and parked my car till it was time to come home.  Boy, that saved on cars and gas.

Iknow Jan will miss you and hopefully she will find a renter-none as good as you guys, but God will provide her.  What kind of work are u looking for, or have you already found a job.

I miss going to work and especially payday- now I dont mean I dont work at home cause I certainly do. Always something to do.

Jan, take care of yourself in the heat.  One day last week, I went outside to cut grass in the heat but I took frequent breaks and I was ok.  But I was also tired the next day.

Well, everyone take care and stat cool.  Colette

The weather was better here yesterday and this morning was wonderful.  I might take a little walk during my lunch hour.  I usually eat my little lunch at my desk then have an hour to read.  I go for weeks and don't spend a dime at work.   I've always brought my lunch because eating out all the time is too expensive but since WLS, it really not worth buying a meal.  I have too many leftovers.  The sandwich shops are out because I either can't digest the bread of I don't want all those carbs.

I made Clouds again and these were totally different that the first batch.  I have to master this!!  I had a Cloud with a sausage patty and it was good.  No more of the Dreamcicle Cake for me.  It was made with a reduced sugar Pillsbury mix and diet soda, Jello and Cool Whip.  I had a small piece with a spoonful of ice cream to celebrate hubby's BD and it didn't sit well at all.  No dumping but my pouch was really cranky and I got to hot.  This is a cake I made pre WLS and loved it.  I'm giving several pieces to my daughter's family.

Am going to have Taylor put down Friday.  He is having trouble walking and cannot go up & down stairs.  I don't want to do it but its nearing the time and I don't want him to suffer.  I have Friday off so I can grieve & cry without anyone around.  It will be just me & my other fur baby - Cassie.

I hope everyone had a great weekend.  I was working all weekend.  Such is real estate.  I finally got the contract back from the bank today.  Its about time.  I was really worring about that.  Now I can take a deep breath and relax on that one.  Susan I hope you and Andy have an eventless move.  I know how ruff it is to move.  I know Jan will miss you both.  I'm so sorry to hear about Taylor, I know the pain of loosing a beloved pet.  I know Taylor had a wonderful life.  Have a great  day everyone! Lou ;)
