What Is Happening Saturday
Good morning everyone.it sure has been hot and humid a lot.wonder if we will ever get a break from this heat.today the weather said it is supposed to be the worst day for the heat index.by this afternoon they are saying it will be 111 on the heat index in branson and this evening still at 100.hard to believe this is the last weekend in june.this month sure flew by fast.time does fly by when you are having fun.lol.

tressa welcome to the loser's bench.it was soo nice to meet you and cory at the meeting last month.will see you at the july meeting.
susie you do have lot's of grass to cut.sound's like you got some good buy's at the sale's you went to.i have been seeing people sitting outside too.i dont know how they do it in this heat either.have fun at the lake.
pooh bear sure was good to see you on here again.my brother's son is like nikki.he could not sit still at her age and he still cannot and he will be 15 in december.he is alway's doing something.he love's to try and fix thing's or make something.our one furry baby is a long hair dog we keep her hair cut also.keep's her cooler and she does not like her hair combed at all.she run's when she see's me coming with a hair brush.garden is doing good.i am sure glad andy and i weigh less this summer too.we are praying for your mom and your family.
colette i think pa has had enough rain now.maybe they would like some of our sunshine.this heat sure has made a lot of thing's grow big in garden's.have a good day too.
jo did you ever get your to do list done.you know what they say a woman's work is never done.lol.how did your gd dance recital go for them.we are happy for you that you can wear a belt.i am wearing size's i never thought i could wear.it sure is a good feeling.

Got a phone call this morning that my Aunt Passed away this morning.Then my mom tells me she dosen't think she will do surgery,She said she would rather just take the time she has left.And people die in 3's so all i can do now is think about my grandmother and my mom.

Susan, my to do list keeps growing. I didn't work cleaning the floor of the garage. Too hot!!. Thanks Sugar for the cleaning tips. I'll try the vinegar water for sure. I took my serger into Bernina to have it tuned up. It just wasn't stitching right and I lost all my patience on it. Hope to have it back Friday for some big time sewing next weekend.
PoohBear, how do you clip the face of your Shih Tzu? I have 2 of the little darlings and have them groomed about every 4-6 weeks. I would try to trim them but hubby says no. I think he's afraid I'm make them look really strange. A lot of times all they need is a bath and their face trimmed. They never roll in the grass or do anything to get dirty. They do eventually start smelling like a dog and I can't have that!!
Lou, glad to hear your business is picking up. I've heard banks can be really slow when it comes to buying a house they have foreclosed on. I would think they would jump at a chance to unload it.
The dance recital is tonight at the Music Hall in downtown Kansas City. I hate paying $7 to park but the tickets were free since I do all the alterations on the costumes. There is some great dancing but 3 hours is a long time to si****ching. My older GD is on the dance team so she is in 11 dances this year.
Hubby is finally staining the deck. Hope it doesn't rain tonight. It's taken him all day. I feel bad for him out in the heat but it had to be done after paying $125 to get it powerwashed. It looks great!!
I got a pair of nice pants at Walmart for $9. I shortened them to crop pants along with 2 other pairs of pants I haven't worn in years. I do love getting into smaller sizes. WM had a lot of things on the sale rack but they were too big!!

Hi Jo...
I was catching up on some post and seen where you took your machine into "Bernina". Can you tell me more about that? I just had my machine cleaned while back and after I used it once the stitch was off again. It is 25 years old but a real good one the man told me... Singer Sew Fro.
I have a couple of real big projects I want to do with it but need the stitching set again.
Where is Bernina and do they work on just plain machines? Or do you have any other suggestion?

My sewing machine and serger are both Bernina. I take them to Blue Springs to the Bernina dealer and have always been happy with the service. They do service other machines, but it's $10 more. Nothing more aggravating that machine that doesn't work properly. My serger hadn't had a tune up for several years so it was time. I keep it oiled and cleaned. The tension was all out of whack and I couldn't get it adjusted.
I don't know here you live so the Blue Springs location may not be convenient.
