Whats Happening Friday

Good morning everyone.hope everyone has had a good week soo far.this week sure flew by.hard to believe it is friday already.time sure does fly by when you are having fun.lol.

we got some heavy rain yesterday.so did forsyth.did anyone else get any.it has been soo dry around here.i dont think it helped the humdity much at all.suppoed to be up to 98 sat.

jan you did not wake us up at all.how is the trailer coming along for you.andy said when he helped joe put the stove in there that it was looking really nice.the red in the kitchen really brighten's it up.did joe get any fish yesterday?

susie sound's like you have a lot of grass to cut around your place.it sure has been too hot to cut it all at one time.have fun when you go up to the camp site.it is too hot for sure to sleep out side.my brother and his family go camping around this time each year and they have not gone yet because of the heat.

jo we have not got as much rain as you all have,i have family in pa that told me it has rained about the whole month of june with only one day of sunshine.they are soo ready for it to dry out.i have never made your cloud's.they sound good.i have not tryed any egg's in a while.the first time i tryed them i could not get them down very good.

My sister from Hartstown< Pa  said the same.  They have had rain, rain and more rain the whole month of June.  It has been hard to get garden and and it washed away once and had to be replanted.  We have had rain here also - none yesterday but gosh the corn in the fields has really gotten big with this heat.  Have a good day.  Colette

Good Morning Susan and Everyone.
Whew another HOT one.I knew we would go straight from being cold to being so hot ya can hardly breath.Thank goodness i don't weigh what i did this time last year.
Nikki is out riding her bike ,I don't like her to when it is so hot and humid.But she is only 7 and can't stand being still more than 5 min at a time lol.
Went out a lil bit ago gave poochy pups fresh water.I feel bad for them.They are all in the shade but still misreable.I gave our ****z shu a hair cut the other day.He looks so handsome now and much cooler.Our Chow Rex is 11 and has lots of hair i tried thinning him out.He had a heat stroke 2 yrs ago and almost died.Gail sat with him down stairs for 3 days straight.Forcing him to drink and loveing him back to life.
I talked to Mom last night and she has to go monday for them to scope her throat to see if cancer is there too. Then Thurs she goes for a heart cath.I will be there with her.I called her this morning and she seems so much more distant.Like she dosen't want to talk to me.Maybe it is because she is scared i dunno.I don't understand why they are piddle assing around about things.it is getting bigger fast and i feel they need to start doing something.I don't think she is telling me everything but am not gonna push her to tell me.If she dosen't want me knowing i guess i'll just have to accept that.
Checked the garden while i was out giving the dogs water.Zuchinnis are full of blooms and so is the lil white squashes.Tomato plants are putting on tomatoes but the plants are so small,not bushy at all.i would probebly do better to just buy the stuff from the farmers market.
Gail is working today .He called around 7:30 this morning said they are gonna quit around noon.So guess i better get busy get some things done before he gets home.Hope everyone has a great day and stays cool and hydrated.

No rain since Wednesday evening....thank goodness.  The humidity is just awful.  So glad it's Friday.  Lots of things on my to do list for tomorrow.  My GDs are in a dance recital so that will take up Saturday evening. 

I'm going to work on garage tomorrow.  We use it for storage and I want to set up my scrapbooking out there.  We've lived there 2 years and can't get rid of the dog smell.  The previous owners kept their dog and cat in there and at times it still smells like dog.  I'm thinking the dog probably pottied on the floor and that's where it's coming from.  I've used an air purifier and some candle things that are supposed to absorb the smell.  I'm going to clean the floor with a Clorox mix then paint with KILZ.  Sure hope that works.  I have floor tile to put down.

Today I'm wearing a belt.  I was doing the happy dance this morning!  Wow, never thought I would ever wear a belt again or have a waistline.

Try vinegar water on the floor! A carpet and floor guy told me and a friend that if vinegar doesnt take smell out nothing will...we used it on her carpet where a cat had peed and after 2-3 treatments it worked...

another thing to try that my brother swore by was spearmint alcohol...you can buy it at walmart...(he was a carpet cleaner too in professional buildings)

Holy crap its hot!   My husband Frank has been working out side all day on the yard.  He just let to go get the trailer to haul some brush to the yard waste place.  Its just too hot for me.  I can't stand it.  I'm thinking my parents pool is looking awfully good right now.  For sure this evening.  While he's been working in the yard, I went and got my nails done. LOL  He said I was high maintenance, but I told him the money he's saving on feeding me he can fork it over for the nails and toes to look good. HAHA! I'm waiting around today for a contract from the bank.  They sure take thier time getting things done, its not a wonder the problems with the housing market.  Its been a week and I'm still waiting on them to get the papers back to me.  I have buyers ready to buy the house, what's the hold up?!?! Its driving me crazy!  Tonight I have to show another house, some more tomorrow and next week a new listing.  I've been praying that real estate would pick up, I'm so happy that it is. ;)  Well I better get out there and help Frank so he can come in where its cool, I feel bad sitting in here while he's out there working.  I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! ;) Lou

 I went out to a few yard sales on the way home from my DS's this morning and man was it hot. I do not know how these people sat out in it all day. I hadn't planned to go to any but I started seeing lots of them so I had to check out a few. I bought  a winter coat on the hottest day of the year. I hope I do keep losing and its too big by winter but its a nice coat so I figured it wouldn't matter if it was a little big.
I am not cutting grass today or tomorrow, it will just have to grow. I am getting tired of not being able to have it all cut at once. It is a big yard. seven and a half acres. It really looks good all mowed but its impossible to do it. The heat has worked its magic and my elephant ears are coming up. They are small but coming up. I figured the had been eaten by something since they were a no show. I guess it just had to get hot.
I an heading to the lake tomorrow and I sure hope they have spots in the shade. Its really supposed to be hot. I may even have to get into a swim suit and get wet. I bet I drink all my water and then some tomorrow.
