It's dry for a change but humid.  That's ok as long as the AC works.

Last night DH went to the Royals game and I had planned to get all kinds of things done including my dress but it didn't happen.  I went to Hy-Vee for some Tuesdays specials and got me a couple slices of cheese pizza.  I felt slightly quilty but I have been wanting a taste of pizza for weeks and I didn't want Lean Cuisine or WWs.  I enjoyed 1 piece and saved the other for DH.  Strange how I can eat pizza but can't eat a hamburger bun.  The bun just gets to the pouch and causes all kinds of problems.

Instead of sewing or housekeeping chores, I read a book.  It was nice restful evening but I really should have gone to the gym.  If reading was exercise I would be so thin.

Susan, you are doing great with your weight loss.  I'm 11 months out and have lost about 70 lbs.  I really need to buckle down, omit the carbs and exercise to get another 30 lbs. off.  I'm wearing 14/16's too and I'm happy with myself but I don't want to continue in the overweight category.

Everyone enjoy your day and let us know what is happening with you.

Rain, Rain - Go Away!  Come back some other day!

I need to get into the garden but its way too muddy.

I got into a pair of size 10 shorts but the size 12's feel much better.  I am getting a little tired of people telling me that I need to wear better fitting clothes.  I love the big roomy tops!  Does anyone else feel this way?

I am by myself for a week as Dad has went to Florida with 2 of his sisters to visit another one.  So its just me and my fur babies.

Racoon update - The other evening Dad said look the coon is out of the garage lets go shut the door so it can't get back in.  I then asked him "what if she has babies in there?"  So needless to say the door is staying open and we are putting extra food out for her.  She has gotten in his truck and eaten all his peanuts and sunflower seeds.  You should see the mess...  She and our outside cat are friends!  They eat together.  At least when the coon is out and about the other neighborhood cats and the birds stay away from the cat food.

Speaking of cats - She keeps leaving presents...  I get a little freaked out when she leaves snakes that are still alive!!!  I know they are the harmless garter snakes but a snake is a snake and I don't want them in my house!

Picking the bush cherries this evening when it cools down a bit.

Have a great day - Sandy

HAHA Sandy! You all sound just like us. Such animal people.  I have a real soft spot for all animals.  My husband doesn't want to spray our yard, something is eating our hostas but he's afraid it will hurt our gartner snakes.  Good grief! ;)  We have one we call fat albert, he's eating something and what ever it is is making him fat.  He's the biggest garden snake I've ever seen ;)  We are getting ready for the float trip we are leaving on Friday afternoon.  Man i Have so much to do between now and then.  I hope everyone has a great day! Lou ;)

 Spent all morning mowing grass. I came in soaked to the bone. I did more than I should have in the heat and humidity. I thought the yard (at least close to the house) looked great and just knew DH would be happy. WRONG He was upset I lowered the blade a notch. He wants it cut on the highest setting. I guess I can't win for losing. I also did some weeding in the garden. He hasn't seen it yet. I bet I did it wrong too. He actually said I wish you'd just stay in the house and do something in here. Needless to say I am pissed at him again. And I am not cleaning inside.
I hope everyone else is having a great day.

Hey Susan;

You are so much better than I on this board stuff. Your post are more like Jan's in the fact that you seem to remember what everyone's interest is. Great Job!

You are losing faster than I did. It took me a year to lose 98 lbs, You'll beat me by far. I am so proud of you.

Hubby is doing great.
