WHATS HAPPENING TUESDAY

We spent most of the day getting things in the yard back to a tidy look, grass  needed cutting , put up post and tied tomatoes in garden....have several small golf ball size tomatoes. Lots of squash , cucumbers are blooming as well as the watermelon, beans are starting to put on , broc. Wont be long before the heads are big enough to pick.. cant wait to have fresh to eat and to put up for winter time.

Have pulled weeds and pulled weeds today both in the garden and in flower beds. Worked and worked and got so hot we couldn’t stand it so we jumped on the 4 wheeler and went down to the lake and jumped in. boy sure did feel good....

Came back and had a phone call from this girl that wanted to buy the baby four wheeler we had ,,,,that was good . paid for our trip down to see Michele...and got something out of the way and out of the shed.

Joe went to use the riding mower and the battery was dead, so he had to put it on a charger. But it charged right up , thank God.

We have to go get our tiller hopefully today...had to take it in to be repaired before we went out of town. Hope it is ready .

SUSIE:::so sorry a bout your mouth still hurting. Just think of what a beautiful smile you will have when you do get the braces off. Ibet you wont have any trouble learning to smile again. I think you do a great jov anyway.

SUGAR::::I bet you caused quite a stir in church lol. How much did you get cooked and ready ...

The family day at Roaring River sounds like lots of fun...glad you had a good turn out.

The free fishing day was in Ark. This week end too. Joe was able to go fishing without having to buy lic. Down there.

Wow that would be neat to go to the Holy Land with a church. That would be such fun.

Yeah I know about people living together before marriage . but at least they seem to be working toward a future together. They are going to a little Baptist church out in the country . yes it feels so much better than what I was feeling about her life. I just have to trust God that he has really touched her life so she wont revert back . She is such a joy to be with when she is like this. You know I don’t know that I have ever been with her like this without feeling like it was put on.

LOU:::: wow thanks for the recipe for the ceveche that really sounds good. and im going to make some of it soon.

Your dizziness could be low blood sugar as some were discussing but could also be low blood pressure. Don’t really know...but take of yourself. . How did the photo shoots go?

Good Morning All...

Wanted to pop in this morning before I get back to work on this house and wish you all a good day.

Susan... so fantastic about the size 18!  It's wonderful isn't it?

Sugar ~ sounds like you are busy as ever!

Pooh ~ goodness you are going to have your very own personal petting farm!

Lou ~ the ceveche does sound good if I like the salsa I will have to try that one too... thanks for posting it.  Love shrimp!

Sandy ~ boy it sounds like you have a wonderful garden!  and it keeps you right busy too.

Renee and Janet ~ miss you girls and hope all is well at your places.

Nene ~ Know just how it is to live in a trailer.... did it for two years when we built this house... although mine was a bit bigger than yours I think... I sure do feel for you and sure hope they get your new house done when they say they will.  You are such an adventurous lady! ~ha

All is good here... pretty much getting the girls all settled and all the excess stuff piled in the garage... that will be our next project... am still working on some weeds... a bit each day... have cleaned out drawers and closets etc....

The rest of the week now will be at the sil to finish the deck project I hope... only one more trip will be necessary... we will just have to see.

Jo has been working on the 1000+ vacation pictures... I can't wait to see what she does with them...

Mimi sounds like you had a great time at your daughters... and that you are busy as ever in your yard.  Paul dug up some baby taters so I guess I will make the family... creamed peas and taters some time soon.  They love those.  My tomatoes are doing quite nicely too... I can't wait to get fresh ones!  I have been getting a few sugar snap peas that I transplanted into the mineral tubs... they are so yummy!  I have some beats planted in one too. I have so much more work out there I would like to do but I guess I will just have to do a little at a time as I can...

Every since I got home a week ago I have been enjoying the smell of honeysuckle that is blooming all over the sides of the roads... I "drink in the blossoms" ~tee hee (from Anne of Green Gables) when I am out walking.  I have never seen such big patches of them and they are loaded with blooms... kinda like when you walk by a huge lilac bush and the whole air is filled with the fragrance... it's so wonderful!

I'm going to try and make a mango salsa today... will be fun to see if it turns out.. I have never bought a jalapeno pepper for any recipe... so will be fun to see how I like it. Will be sure and wear gloves when I cut it up! ~ha

You'uns all have a good day!

Good morning!  Looks like another beautiful day!  The photo shoot went great!  Its was crazy busy, there were 4 girls one being my daughter, I was doing hair and makeup one right after the other, but it turned out great and the photographer was really happy.  I should get the pics here in a couple of days I'll post a link to it and you can check them out.  My baby girl looked so pretty, she never wears make up which is my nightmare lol, I remember being in 5th grade sneaking lip gloss and eyeshadow to school and putting it on the the bathroom. ( sorry momma;)) I always had a fascination with it and then when I got older I think I loved makeup beacause it was fun to shop for.  There were no sizes and since I couldn't control my weight I could make my face look good and do some funky things and it would draw attention away from my body.  At least that's what my thoughts were.  HAHA!  The photographer kept saying I've never seen that much makeup, I do have alot no doubt.  So houses are really moving, I have a very busy week of showing property to buyers and I'm thankful.  I got #4 in sales for the month of May in my building, I was so excited, now I need to get on up that line to #1 by July.  HAHA! A girl can dream.  BEC...I LOVE honeysuckle!  We planted it all over the yard and at night it smells like heaven.  I even went to the White Barn Candle co and bought honeysuckle plug ins and candles, I can't get enough!  We have eaten so much of the Ceveche that I'm going to turn into a shrimp.  I hope you all love it as much as we do.  Well have a great day everyone! ;) Lou

Good morning everyone. I can hardly talk. My mouth hurts more than it ever has before. They not only advanced the top and bottom braces but added rubber bands. I hate them. I have to stick it out but it is painful. I look back and think if I had not done the braces I could afford a tummy tuck. I got the braces before I decided to have RNY. Now I am gonna have to convince my insurance to pay for the tuck. I never thought I would consider plastics but I am thinking about it a lot lately. Its too early I know but I am thinking about it.

I am going to the Carolinas  for a long weekend  visit. so I won't be online. Didn't want anyone to worry about me being locked up. I have about given up on DS's situation. One of the strays did leave but left his old car there. I feel kinda bad about the other one but he has been staying there for free too long.

Hope everyone else is doing ok and losing weight like Susan is. If only we were all so lucky
Susie

It's almost like night outside right now.  Kind of scary when you're on the 34th floor of the building and storm clouds like that outside your window.

I have FINALLY lost another 5 lbs.  Have forgotten how long it's been since the scale has moved.  I was ready to buy another one thinking that one had to be stuck.  My favorite black slacks are too big.  I've altered them once so not sure I can take in any more, but it's a problem I don't mind having at all.  I used to get so depressed when my clothes got too tight.

Last night I went to Kohl's to use my Kohl's $20 bucks and had a really hard time finding anything I could afford.  I finally got 2 tops, BOGO, and I don't particularly like them.  I may return them and hope they give me cash instead of a gift card.  I want a pair of white slacks but theirs were so think and still expensive.  Guess I will have to get fabric and make me a pair.  I'm ready to cut out a really cute dress.  I love getting dressed now.

I love flowers but my allergies don't like the smell at all.  DH loves gardening so he would have a lot in common with some of you.  When I go with him to a gardening center, it's not long before I'm sniffling, my eyes burn and I get a headache.  He's all enthused about his little garden and put up fencing around it to keep the rabbits out.

I've never had braces but I've heard how much they can hurt.  When you have a toothache or something going on in your mouth, you hurt all over.  Susie, enjoy your trip!

I need to check travel reservations for someone so guess I should get off her and earn my pay.

Have a great day!!

~Jo~
