WHATS HAPPENING FOR SUNDAY

You talk about tired , yesterday in the yard sales was just a warm up .lol....today was the topper. There were Garage sales everywhere ...every street corner there were signs and signs...and I think we went to them all.  Michele got a great bargain in a really good washer for  20.00 , beautiful night stands for 5.00 ,  several other good bargains and I got some things too. neat things ...fun times too.

Joe and Ross are going fishing in the River in the morning early , catfish are biting and we are hoping that they get lots of fish. We went down to the river(Arkansas river)  this evening to look around. So neat down there ...

We will be home sometime late tomorrow I would imagine. Not real sure what time tho.

SUSAN::::  one of the neat things I found yesterday was 2 boxes of  quart fruit jars for 3.00 total for the two boxes , neat huh?

Poor ole Rebel sure is scared of others guns and stuff isn’t he....but Joe can fire a gun over and over him and it doesn’t faze him in the slightest. See you tomorrow.

JO::::: lol so I was right about the xanax huh? I have seen so many people addicted to that stuff its not even funny....the amitriptaline is  a fairly good sleep aid...the only thing is it makes my mouth get so dry that I can barely stand it.

Why was you so sleepy during the day? from the Cipro? Or just from the infection?

Staying away from the carbs is a good answer for me too but it is really hard to do completely or is for me.... I have to just do protein shakes it seems , if I try to do food I start getting to varied in diet and the next thing you know I am getting carbs in too.

SUSIE:::::: well did DH get the strays out ????

BEC:::::: sounds like you are working yourself down to the nub....i hope everyone else there is helping you... that is great that all the blouses that Susie gave you aren’t fitting now.

Sounds like you about have your house back in order. About the time that you get it really set up good one of them will need to leave to move to where ever they are going and there it goes again.

Cant wait to see your pictures of your family vacation

Sure a shame about the garden getting rained out. That will do it for sure.

Maybe when you plant a fall garden it will do fantastic.

LOU:::::: theCeveche sounds great. How much of each thing? Or is it one of those things that you put a little of this and that till it taste good to you.

The solar fountain sounds neat. I think that is what we need to go too since I have so many of those little pumps running ....i know they have to increase the electric bill a lot.

Hope everyone had a wonderful week end, it was about as perfect weather as you can get that is for sure.

Well the strays are still there. They left before we got there. I went back last night and could tell they had been there but they were gone again. We cut the grass and DH fixed the lawn mower. I picked up several beer bottles on the porch. I know they weren't DS's because he was at work. He works an extended second shift and they party while he is gone. I have to keep going back up there everyday I guess. We have decided to change the locks on the 15th. I hope we can get this resolved soon or Dh may have a heart attack. He gets pretty worked up over it.

Other than that we are surviving. I hope you all have a great day.

I love garage sales...
Going to try and have one myself next weekend or so.

The garden looks really good,  a few tomato plants that were not staked up got knocked down by hail with the t-storm last night.  I am not going to say I am getting tired of this rain every day because if I do then we will be in for a dry spell - so I won't say it...

I mixed up some potting soil with some of my seed pots that did not produce and threw it all in on top of one of the mineral tubs a couple o
f weeks ago and I have a mix of english cucumbers, peppers and tomatos growing in it now so I am not going to plant herbs in it this year - LOL!!!  Just going to let it keep on doing its own thing for now.

Still need to plant my annual herbs such as parsley, basil and cilantro but its raining again...

Made 2 soft boiled eggs for breakfast this am, only got down 1 and 2 bites of toast when I had to stop.  I would like to know why I can eat way to much popcorn and something good for me I can't 2 ounces?  Weird huh?  I switched over to popcorn to get off the potato chip habit.  I think its the salt craving I have more than the bad carb cravings...  My latest snack is 1 ounce of peanut butter and 1 ounce of cheese.  Been having my protein drink in the afternoon.  This seems to hold the hunger at bay.

Going to defrost the big upright freezer today as soon as I can get into the garage and get several coolers to put everything in and finish up laundry.

You all have a great day!
Sandy

Jan, sounds like you got great bargains and had fun too.  I love fish.  I used to prefer fried but not any more.  I deep fried some catfish nuggets awhile back and my pounch didn't like them.

I'm sure it was the Amitriptaline that made me sleep.  It was 24 hours before I was finally out of the fog.  It can't be the Cipro because I took it last Friday and Saturday nights and no fog the next day.  The last 2 nights I've not taken anything for sleep, trying to tough it out and sleep naturally.  I sleep about 2 1/2 hours then wake up.  The dreams are awful.

I need my tooth capped.....ugh.   My insurance should pay 60% but a cap is about $700.  I have a 1 1/2 hour appointment next month to get the tooth ready for the cap.  It's the 4th tooth over from the front so if I had it pulled it would show.

Sandy, I don't envy you at all defrosting the freezer.  I looked for a frost free but they are so expensive.

Cor, a size 4??  I haven't worn a 4 since I was 4.  I remember wearing a 6X then the next size was a 14.  My excess weight started when I was about 8.  In HS I took Home Ec and when it came time to buy patterns for dressmaking, my mother bought a size 14.  Well, the teacher measured all of us and determined the 14 was too small so I had to alter the pattern.  My mother seemed to be fixed on size 14 for me when I was really a 16.

I can eat popcorn too.  Always loved popcorn.  I think it's odd I can eat a bowl of popcorn, about 2 cups,  but other foods just won't go down like hamburger buns.  I've had a bun twice and paid for it later.  I can eat chips but only do so maybe once a week.  Not a red light food for me.

I'm taking the color out of my hair this morning (should be in church) then I'm going to color it.  Guess I better check to see what stage of yellow I've gotten to.

Have a great Sunday!!

Revision on 09/30/13
OhmydearLord...  I am moving ever so slowly this a.m.  Remember that I told you girls that I had a Dump Truck loaded with mulch delivered?  (full size dump truck ) Well.....

Yesterday I mowed the entire 3 acres by myself.  Weedeated it, weeded ALL the flower beds and walkways and carted off that debri and THEN.....

I grabbed a shovel and a 13 gal kitchen waste basket and proceeded to attack the mulch pile (it was dumped in our asphalt driveway.  One waste can at a time I scooped....trundled it to the bed/walkway and dumped.  I got everything in the front yard and the front walkway done.  All that is left is the back yard gardens, new walkway that I have to dig out (will do that today as well) and the hillside rockgarden and steps that we cut into the hillside.

I did all this by myself and I am feeling it.  Mike works a second job as a cab driver and they are kind taskmasters.  He works 2-midnight Friday, 12 noon to Midnight Saturday.  I just dropped him off a bit ago ...Sunday is 10 - 10...  LONG HOURS and it means that I have no help with the gardening.

It makes it very difficult as his hours at the cab place leave no time to help with anything at the house.  He works there 5 days a week and the hours are normally 12+ hr. shifts.  He loves gardening just as much as I do so it is hard for him NOT to be able to do it, plus he knows how hard it is for me to do it by myself.    but we are trying to get caught up on bills.... so we are each shouldering the load.....

I thought that I would get on here before I hit the yard.....   send me strength vibes!   I think that I am going to need it today for sure...

Hope that everyone is having a great day! ~*

Good Morning Jan and Everyone
Whew sure glad Saturday is over LOL. Took Nikki to Summer Fun Days in Brookfield yesterday.Went to the parade then the carnival. That child rode rides for 4 hrs only stopping to eat a bite.

She wanted someone to ride the octopus with her. I am scared to death of heights but i rode with her.I swear the guy running that thing was out to kill me.Nik****pt telling me Mom shut your mouth so you don't puke one me.
That child has NO fear .She rode the hammer twice in a row.Saying this is Awesome. She loved the swings and ferris wheel too.
Then we came home and she played in the pool for 2 1/2 hrs.Whew she wore us out.

I was so excited when i got on the octopus and actually fit with room to spare. Then it moved and fear set in LOL.
Well i need to get busy get dishes done and start cleaning house.Hope everyone has a fantastic day.
Love and Hugs Deb
