WHATS HAPPENING SATURDAY

Was today Friday??? We got up at 5:30 and was on the road to the first garage sale by 6am....my lord I hadn’t even gotten my protein coffee down yet lol.....was a fast paced , jump out see if there was anything and jump back in the truck and go to the next....im not used to the professional  garage sale person I guess. Wow.!!! And we are going to try and do it again in the morning. ....Micheles boyfriend has this 72 Nova orange and black for sale  oh my gosh you should hear this thing when it starts up...I think of Janet and her liking race cars when I hear it. it shakes the windows. Lol .

 

Found a couple of cast iron skillets at sales yesterday. Got them both for 2.00 no rust or anything. Also a good George Forman Grill for 2.00 a double one pretty nice I thought is just the right size for Joe and me.

Also a brand new set of king size sheets 400 count for 3.00  and found a pretty purple sweater for a quarter. Lol

 

Joe isn’t one to go garage saleing so he stayed at the house and slept lol that’s my Joe.

He and Ross are going fishing in the morning. Hope they catch some ....any thing I don’t care lol ....Michele made chicken/shrimp enchiladas for supper tonight boy were they good. I finally got all the insides done but didn’t eat the tortilla.

We had watermelon later and of course you know I had to eat that lol ....yummy was good.

 

 

 

PIXIE:::::: SO  sorry about your furbaby ,,,,I can imagine have one that long it is like your own child.  We have one that is almost 9 that I cant imagine being without. He is a very special furbaby to us to

 

Wow I wish I had your dump truck load of mulch but I need a dump truck load of good dirt first ...i have some places I need to make flower beds that the dirt isn’t the best and I want to build it up.

SUSIE:::: well what kind of trouble did you get into at your sons yesterday lol

I cant imagine you being pushy enough to get thrown into jail lol . I will pray that you don’t ... lol you can rant all you want on here we all need a spot that we can do that at times. Hope it all turned out ok.

RENEE::::: what a cute little fella your grandson is. We are all praying that the heart murmur will clear itself up , I don’t know anything about newborns as a nurse, never ever wanted to work with them because if something wrong I would have been as devastated as the parents and you cant do that as a nurse and do your job.   Anyway as best I remember is that a lot of babies are born with heart murmurs that clear up. We will pray that is so for baby Noah anyway... give Kala and Lee our love and tell them that there is a whole lot of people here that are praying for their precious baby...

jan sound's like you have had a good time going to the sale's.rebel has been laying porch.some people in the area have been shooting their gun's off.he is such a good dog.the chicken's are doing good.we got 4 egg's on thursday afternoon and 4 brown and one blue on friday.we will see you all after we get home from church sunday afternoon.

pixie how are you doing today?did you get your mulch put in your garden?sound's like you have a big garden.

susie how did your friday go for you?did you get everything in order at your son's house?

renee any more from your daughter on how your grandson is doing?he sure is a sweetheart.there are lot's of us ladie's who sure could spoil him.

I'm feeling like myself this morning but yesterday was a total loss.  I saw my PC Thursday.  She said the Amoxicillin wasn't working so gave me Cipro for the sinus infection.  I ask about using Xanax to help me sleep instead of Ambien (feeling good that I had kicked the Ambien habit, and she said no to Xanax saying it's worse than Ambien.  She said you get addicted to Xanax and have to keep uping the dosage so she gave me Amitriptilene (sp?) 

I could take 1 or 2 of the Amitr..... but I only took 1 thank goodness.   The Cipro really helped the sinuses but I was a zombie the whole day, just couldn't get awake.  It was 10 p.m. last night before I was out of the fog.  I didn't take anything to sleep last night and slept pretty well.  I think I'll just go without sleep aids.

Today I have a dentist appointment.  A cap came off my tooth.  Wonder how much that will cost to replace.  I have dental insurance but I'm always left to pay a chunk.  Just paid the dentist off after some other work I had done.

Jan, a size 10 would be heavenly for me.  The smallest I've ever worn was a 12 for about 30 minutes back in the 70s.  Finally, this morning I am in the 170s.  I do think staying away from carbs is the answer.  Yesterday I did have some canteloupe and watermelon but otherwise only protein. 

Garage sales have never interested me at all.  I know a lot of people love it.  I do shop thrift stores. 

Susie, we need to know if you are behind bars or did you control yourself at the DS's. 

I'm going to make an Egg Casserole for breakfast.  DH had some cherry filled things from the bakery.  Before surgery, I loved them but I ate a small piece and it didn't taste like I remember.  So glad!!

Renee, happy thoughts for your grandson. 

 Still haven't gotten the strays out of DS's. Taking DH up there today. He's meaner than me. Its driving me crazy. I will let you know how it turns out.

Good Morning...

Stuff Stuff Stuff!!!!  Egads!!!!  Goodness where will I put it all????

Have been working diligently this week to get everyone settled, get the yard back to civilization and pulling Weeds! Weeds! Weeds galore!! We are finally seeing progress in the yard... they have helped me weed and now we are getting read today to give the house a good cleaning.  Are going to take the curtains and such down and get all the cobwebs too.  I am trying to clean out some cabinets as I go along... yesterday I cleaned out my closet again of all the clothes that were too big... Susie... all those wonderful blouses you gave me just had to go as they don't fit any more... I will pass them on to others that can wear them.  I have a neighbor that had the lap bad and I will have her stop by and see if she can use them.  Thank you again they filled a gap in my wardrobe for sure!  Bless you!

Jo it sure is good seeing you posting recently!  Blessings to you.  Hope you are feeling good again.... I need to go to the dentist as well,need a tooth pulled... need to get on that the first of the week I guess... a filling fell out back during Peggy's sale and I was going on a wing and prayer that it would not start hurting on vacation... was so thankful it didn't!  But now it's time to get it out.  I hate going to the dentist!  Necessary evil I guess ~ ha

Susan ~  My goodness lady you are doing fantastic on the weight loss... you will be at goal before you know it at this rate!  I'm so very proud of you!  Looking forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks.

Susie ~  hope  you are not our new jail bird! ~tee hee... seriously I hope everything worked out with your son and things are looking better in regards to that situation.

Mimi ~ glad you are finding the bargains at the yard sales.  The Lilly you gave me bloomed and now I need to plant it some where so it can come back every year.  Am going to put another row of blocks on my flag pole so don't guess I will get anything planted in there this year... I have gotten a handful of strawberries already... the weeds took over while I was gone but all fixed now.  My tomatoes are doing just great so far and but most everything else got drowned out... this is the first year my zucchini did not do good... I ALWAYS have good zucchini... I am going to have to plant a fall garden for sure... we just were gone way too much this Spring.

Well hopefully I will get to tell you all about my travels when things settle down a bit but for now I have to get back to work.

Good morning!  Just got back from going to the farmers market.  I am going to make ceveche tonight.  Its tomatos, shrimp, onions, fresh lemom juice, jalapinos and fresh celantro.  You eat it with avacado, its a cold mexican type salad.  Yummy!  Yesterday we had the best day.  We took my daughter and her friend to Silver Dollar City.  What a beautiful day and it wasn't packed.  We rode everything!  I was so excited to not have to worry if I was going to fit on the rides.  What a blast!  Can't wait to go back.  I love me some roller coasters.  After I got back from there I had to go show some houses and then went to visit my grandparents, it was a long day and we were worn out by the time we got back to the house.  Well I'm off to dig in the dirt.  We have 15 tons of gravel being delivered today for the driveway and my husband is installing a new solar fountain in the garden, I better go help.  I hope everyone had a great weekend!
