whats happening Thursday

The old mother hens are all a cackling and going on about the newest one to join the earths population. ......Noah ,,,,,,what a pretty name...... I bet he will be a big pretty boy too....Yea!!!! so glad that he is doing good and so is his mommy and granny Renee is about to bust buttons. ....we cant wait to see pictures. I know he will be adorable. ....boy I wonder what miss Peanuts will think of him....??

 

We spent the afternoon yesterday getting Micheles stuff packed up in the truck....lord I didn’t know there was that much stuff here lol. I think I gave her some more...we still didn’t get any of her Christmas stuff in ...Hopefully she will come home for a visit before then. Mayve for Thanksgiving at least....we will be leaving today by 10 or 11. it is a 4 hour drive so don’t want to think about that. We have most everything ready to go .

I am going to take my laptop with me but if I don’t have time to put anything online don’t get all bent out of shape  there wont be anything wrong just busy....ok?

If anyone wants to do the Whats Happening that will be great. If you don’t see a post from me by 8 go ahead  we don’t have to have me ....

 

Wow you talk about a bargain....Susan got bananas for 3 pounds for a dollar...can you believe that. That is a bargain from the past. ..seems like lately they have been any where from 64 to 70 cents a pound.

 

 

 

SUSAN   Thanks for the nanas that was a really good bargain. Oh yeah you said you were going to the resale shop here in Cedar creek? Have you found where it is? Wow colder isn’t the word for it is it.? I have been freezing ...i think I need to go get the winter clothes again.

BEC::::: oh wow is it ever good to hear from you. Your vacation sounds like a winner.

I know you had a blast.  I saw some pictures of you befoe surgery and wow they were when you went to visit  Renee in the hospital. Man I cant believe the difference. Isnt it wonderful all that we can do now. I love mountains climbing don’t you.

 

Oh poor Bec I know how you like things all neat and tidy , you must really be about to come out of your skin. Lol

Good morning to all.how is the weather where you all live.we sure got cold here last night.i think someone turned on the air cond full blast last night.lol.thursday already.the weekend is almost here.

i am soo happy.i am only 3 pound's away from having lost 70 pound's.yheeee.i am two week's away from my 3 month surgery date.i am wearing xl shirt's and capri's.i never thought i would be in a xl.then i only have 21 more pound's to go and i will be under 200 pound's.i really do feel soo much better and i can move around better too.

jan did you ever get warm last night.that wind sure was making it cold.we know where the resale shop is.we want to go there this sat.you and joe have a safe trip.

renee we have been hearing shouting from where you live.lol.we know you sure are a proud grand ma.

bec sure is good too see you back here on the board.did you ever get all the girl's thing's put away.all that work sure will keep you busy.looking foward to seeing you all again later on this month.

susie do you all finally get all your grass cut?you know this rain has miracle grow in.make's the grass grow faster.lol.

 It didn't rain all day yesterday but it was gloomy and cool. I had planned to grill out and changed my mind. I didn't want to sit out there . I haven't checked the temp this morning but its not supposed to get much warmer.Grey cold skys make me sleepy.

I was proud of myself shopping the thrift stores. I got two pair of jeans and some jean shorts. I got three shirts but shrunk one when I washed it. All three pair of jeans were size 10 which made me happy. They are all different kinds so to be able to wear the same size from three different brands was surprising.

The dad blamed scales made me mad this morning. I am up two pounds. I do not understand that. I stay within the limits and most of the time under them. I hope its just a temporary thing. It always scares me when it goes up. Maybe if I drink an extra couple of glasses today it will flush out. Its strange for me to worry about two pounds but I do not ever want to see the scale going up again.

It is cool here in the Kansas City area but really nice out.  I'm going to the doctor this afternoon.  My ears feeled plugged and  I have a lot of sinus congestion and that achey face feeling.  The antibiotic I got last week isn't clearing this up like it should have.

I don't want to be sick but tomorrow is my office's volunteer day and let me tell you it's hard work.  We go to 1 of 4 places in the area to paint, do lawn work, clean, etc.  I'm just not up to all that.  I definitely don't do yard work but I never did.  I can paint but feeling like I do just don't think I can.  I sure don't need to be sniffing paint fumes. 

For a couple of months I've not lost any weight but did get into smaller clothes.  I didn't let it bother me until now but I'm starting to stress about it.  I need to lose another 30-35 lbs.  I get in my protein, keep carbs around 100 with calories around 1100 a day.  I'm thinking maybe I need to drop some of the carbs even if they are healthy ones. 

Some say a calorie is a calorie but I think your body reacts to what those calories are made up of. 

I should probably start tracking my food and see just where my calories are going.  Any suggestions?

Thought I would pop in to say hi before going over to the garden to tie up the tomato plants with the knee hi stockings.  My sis thinks it will look to tacky - I did not say anything but wanted tooooo so bad - like get off your bottum and help!  I was being nice.  Dad & I put so much work in the garden and all she has to do is take her pick of anything thats been picked and on the patio.  We give so much away and when they start getting picky and telling me what to do I have to bite my tongue!
