WHATS HAPPENING FOR WEDNESDAY

It got up to 86 down here in no mans land Tuesday plus we had an afternoon shower...not a lot just enough to cool it off some. 

Wow I got a huge zucchini  out of the garden today and there are several others out there eethat are just about right size.

We are going to go to see Michele on Thursday and will be gone till Sunday.. afternoon some time. We are taking the boat too. will go out fishing possible on Saturday. But we needed the boat to be able to haul all of her stuff to her. Lol...plus the extras that I am giving her....

 

Had to go to the sleep doctor today....you have to go every once in a while I guess . lol but at least it isn’t too often..

Anyway....after we got back didn’t do anything else either. Just haven’t felt worth a hoot since the cramping the other day.  my feet and hands are swollen ....oh well if it hasn’t

Changed by Monday I will call and go see my PCP. So don’t worry any.

 

We watched EARTH 2100 last night ....did anyone else watch that? I have to agree that a lot of this will happen and soon...

 

 

SUSAN::::: the flowers are getting pretty aren’t they? And our garden is growing really well too....we need to  all get out there and weed again....hopefully one day next week we can all get out there and work ok? Hopefully we will have our tiller back by then. Which will make it a little easier to get that Bermuda grass up lol that stuff is the devil.

 

 

SUSIE;;;;;I know what you mean about our kids....dont know why my one was such a pain and the other two have always been self care kids. And have never ask much at all

My youngest has always been my headache.  She just never learned how to accept responsibility for her own actions. Now at 43 she is finally developing like she should have when she was a kid. Don’t know why some kids just don’t want to grow up or what. I know it wasn’t until I told mine that this is enough I WILL NOT  bale you out anymore. No matter what so if you wind up on the streets or in jail ...you will have to deal with it, not me...and do you know what she has all of a sudden began to learn ....wow. lol

I know the bums that are laying around at this house but he is allowing it...so not only do you need to throw those out but maybe him too. or at least tell him what you expect and that there will be no more money tree and mean it. I know how hard it is but you are going to have to get hard and that isn’t easy for mamas to do.

Know that you aren’t alone in this problem , most of us have our child of terror. Lol

JO:::::: well as you can see for the last few days im not always a whirlwind lol my husband has a lot of painful  injuries from a accident back in 99 and is on disability from it. but he does well as he can  ...lots of times when he works pretty hard one day , it will take him two or three days to get rested from it.

Sure hope you get to feeling better soon.

Boy isn’t that the truth about worrying about your kids.  I guess that is because we are mothers. ??

So you are trying to take only one carry on bag for the trip? How long will you be there? I hope it will turn out to be as much fun as it sounds like it will be. ....

 

 

SANDY::::: OH WOW  your story about the raccoon was so cool and funny and I could just see that poor raccoon .  begging to you to let him  stay.....no need for camera your mind will keep that picture as long as you do..

Good morning to all.here it is wednesday already.this week is flying by fast.the rain sure did not last long here yesterday afternoon.supposed to be cooler here today and down to 52 tonight.look's like it is going to rain again.then by the weekend hot again.

jan the flower's sure are pretty.a lot of them are full of bloom's.the garden sure is growing.hard to believe how big that zucchini was.you and joe have a safe trip tomorrow.have fun while you all are there.

susie we are praying thing's work out for your son.we know what you mean by not wanting smoke smell in everything.andy and i used to wash window's and you could see the yellow smoke run down the window's.my mom used to say kid's will put the grey hair on your head.

jo how are you feeling today.better we hope.we dont have any kid's but i worry about my dad.his mind may be bad but he still worry's about us.there are time's he will sit by the nurses station till we call and let him know we made it home ok.he is alway's asking us if we have what we need and if the car is doing ok.

 We had a beautiful day up here yesterday. I helped DH cut grass and we got about half of it cut. I know it looks good when its all cut but we do not need to. I will never walk out that far and we are not using the land. Dh still thinks it needs to be done. I would rather get some critters and let them eat it. I would love to have a couple cows but we aren't supposed to have them due to property restrictions. At least until they sell all the lots behind us. I think we could get away with it but DH won't do it because we would have to fence it and the cost would be unreal.It would wind up being the most expensive beef we ever had. He won't even let me get chickens. Says he would have to take care of them and he is probably right.
Its cool and raining this morning and thats ok with me.As long as it doesn't rain forever. I have to be out running errands but I won't melt.

Hello Mimi ans My Dear Oh Buddies!

Just home from a 2 week vacation in Colorado... boy oh boy was it fun!

I don't have time to catch you all up on all my gallivanting but will hopefully in the days to come.  I still have at least one more trip to the sil to finish the painting and stain her deck but then I hope to stay home for awhile.

We got both girls graduated, made a trip to Texas to move Crystal back, was home one day before we left for mountain climbing in the great state of Colorado... I climbed THREE mountains!!!  IT WAS GREAT!!! Did some rock climbing too.  I NEVER would of been able to do that 8 months ago!  All that exercising sure paid off!  I just have so much to be thankful for!

Boy do I have a huge mess here to contend with... both girls are home for the summer with ALL THERE STUFF!  We are working today and tomorrow on re~arranging the rooms so they will be settled for their time here.  The garage is bulging at the seams with stuff.... all the grass and flowerbeds got away from me while I was gone... I guess we have had lots and lots of rain while we were gone.

The "Ladies" are all doing well and thriving... Paul stewed the whole while we were gone if they were ok!  Silly man!

Tito is utterly exhausted!  The old man!  But he traveled good... he was as ornery as he could be but still traveled good for his age.

Well I don't even know where to start with all this work so I guess I'll just jump in somewhere? ~tee hee

I hope to get caught up on the reading soon.... so don't know much of what all of you have been up to but hope all is well and good at your place.

Wednesday already! Where did the week go?  I a feeling better.  Got sone Zicam throat spray for cough last night and it's the best stuff I've ever used.  Cough syrup never did much for me and now I would need to read the label carefully to make sure it doesn't have alcohol. 

It was really cool this morning so the AC is turned off.  I have so many allergies I turn it on but when it's cool like today I just can't see running it.

There was a catered lunch today for a big meeting in the office.  A couple of the ladies were eating the leftover Lemon Bars.  These same 2 are always complaining about the weight they are gaining and how they wish they could lose weight.  A year ago I would have been there with them but now I don't have any desire for the sweets.  I think the fact your tastes change so drastically is really odd but I'm not complaining. 

No dessert for me but I got some of the roast chicken and prime rib.  I can finally eat beef other than ground beef.  I'm taking home several slices of the prime rib.  I also had a few roasted veggies.  You could almost see my halo...LOL

I placed an order with Bariatric Eating.  They have a new flavor of protein powder, Peanut Butter.  With orders of $75 you get free shipping otherwise I wouldn't order.  Just a small order is nearly $10 to ship.  They do have some excellent products.  I bought almond flour then discovered my local Hy-Vee carries it in their health food area. 

It's almost time to go home.  My SD is coming over for me to help her put elastic in my GD's dance costume gloves.  That really means I will be doing it.  She doesn't sew at all.
