WHATS HAPPENING SUNDAY
Oh boy im tired ....we had company most of the day , our friends Ric and Jeannie from
JO I guess I used Branson for what you remember it for. Lol we only go to Branson most of the time for items we cant get it Forsyth......we aren’t big fans of any of the shows. And just like Peter Pan....i know it is a big Broadway show but doesn’t cut much with me lol ....about 30 minutes into it I was getting sleepy and I had a cramp in my neck, then my bad leg started jumping then the knee that I already had surgery on started hurting because I cant keep it bent for too long. Well you get the picture , I was a mess and sure wasn’t having a good time at all.Other than all of that before we went over to Branson we had a wonderful time with them. We have been friends with them for a long time. and love both of them which isn’t always possible as most of you know.
Usually when you are trying to find a couples to be friends with it is hard to find two that you like. Seems like one or the other of a couple will be bad news. Lol
Well that was about all I remember about yesterday lol I left it like I wrote it last night lol I think I was a lot more tired that I thought I was.
I woke up this morning to cramps in both calves of my legs , I got out of be to stand so they would go away and immediately the cramps went from my feet to my hips , both legs at the same time. I couldn’t stand , and couldn’t sit. It still feels like it is just underlying waiting for the slightest wrong move. Ive been doing this a lot and my vit level are all ok. Don’t understand it at all. I get more than enough water every day. I take all of my vits everyday. Im at a loss to see what is causing this....oh well it hasnt killed me yet anyway.
Susan I hope your dad is ok? They can sure take some tumbles when they get older.
Jo you sound pretty busy . What do you work doing? Enjoy today before you have to go back to work tomorrow. .that is the sad thing about things you need to do at home , they always wait around till you are ready to do them and because we didn’t do them when we should have they are harder to do or bring more stuff with them to be done too lol
Im glad you are feeling much better. Take it easy today and let the pills do their job and drink lots of fluids.
I have a lot of trouble with bread unless it is toasted. But just plain bread of any kind is a good way to make me sick for sure. It seems to ball up no matter how much I chew.. that is a good thing tho because Breads was one of my triggers before wls .
Well im going to get this posted before someone wants to know where I am...

I regained most of my fluid loss. I wasn't surprised. I was so thirsty the next day. I guess I no longer need the fluid pills. I sure do not want to dehydrate.
I made some protein balls the other day and finally ate one this morning. They weren't as bad as I thought they would be. I am not a big Fan of them but I will eat them. I haven't had much of an appetite lately which is a good thing.
Enjoy the beautiful day.
Those leg cramps are just awful. I may have mentioned taking Ambien for about a year. Due to the side effects I knew I needed to get off it so this week I really made the effort and won. I never got up during the night and ate or drove a car but I had awful headaches. When I didn't take Ambien I would just cap nap all night and get restless legs. That drove me crazy. I had some Xanax from a couple years ago and took one of them a few nights. No restless legs and good sleep.
I'm still not feeling great but I'm getting there. Today I was worship leader at church and so afraid I would cough up there but I didn't. I get really tired quickly. I would stay home tomorrow but feel like I need to get back to work especially now. Two people have been let go in my department and every week some department lets 1 or 2 people go. I'm an administrative assistant for an accounting firm in Kansas City. I've been there 8 1/2 years and I think I'm pretty safe but you never know. I could retire but I'm not quite ready financially.
Susan, I know all about parents and how stubborn they can be. My dad was able to stay in his home until the end. He had a great fear of having to go to a nursing home. My sister and I offered to have him live with one of us but he wouldn't hear of it.
I eat yogurt almost daily with 1/4 cup of a cruncy cereal. This morning I dumped some A&E Strawberry Rhubarb yogurt in a bowl, added the cereal and THEN looked at the nutritional info. Yikes!! It has 28 grams of sugar and 220 calories. I started to eat it but I was so afraid of that much sugar so I dumped it out. Usually I check the label carefully but seeing strawberry rhubarb made me think of pie.
I need to get busy on a couple hemming projects for someone. Maybe I'll get the dress cut out for me.

OHHH Good afternoon to you all! What a glorious day at church! First I had a full classroom in SS and it was such a blessing, then we had a baptism (an older gentleman that just recently accepted Christ and will be attending Rick's SS class) then we also had the Lord's supper today...and a great sermon...WOW! Just WOW! God is sooooo goood and blesses us so much. Have you thanked Him lately???
Just had to let you all know about my great day in the LORD!
Everything is going great...getting ready for the JOY lunch (trip around the world) Cant wait for that. I am still looking for a boomarang and a didgereedoo...anyone got either or both? lol
Well, Chelle and the boys are gone to Florida this week so I wont have to babysit any this week so I should be able to get alot done...and get to exercise everyday...YEAHHHHH!!!!! She has a sitter at her house now for most days that just stays there and the kids check in at least once an hour...so they are learning a little independence. That is good. I think Skyler stays home alot anyway cause there is a cute little girl who lives next door...lol!
Im stuggling with some weight...Ive put on a couple of pounds and they seem to want to stay...so Im looking at changing the exercise a little and upping the duration....but may just need to eat less (especially the stuff I should leave alone anyway) But other than that Im good...feel great! I am having a pain in my side, (sis, remember that fatty patch I showed you?) That is where it hurts..always something.
I took the gk's to see Peter Pan and I thought it was great and so did all of them. We didnt get home until almost midnight but had alot of fun. I took them to eat chinese before the show and the entire night cost me a goodly amount of $ but it was worth it. I just hope it is something the kids will always remember...
Have any of you on here that live in the springfield area have a Eifel Tower replica they would loan me for the 11th? I would love to have a big one but any size would do at this point. I just hate to go spend $ on one for just one day! lol...Im a tight wad! Most everything else Ive found. This has been one fun party to plan and if any of you ever plan an around the world party...I have the decor to loan out!
Ok, gotta go and get some stuff done...have a great afternoon...and love you all
GOD is my ROCK! SUGAR
Trying eating a banana or two daily. With as much work as you do in the yard and under hot conditions I am sure that you are flushing out your potassium levels with the fluids you are ingesting. They are quite easily depleted in hot weather with the added physical exertion.
Plus nano's are good for you too! High fiber... and delish to boot!
Hope the cramp**** the road soon!
Anything WORTH having is WORTH working for !
