Home from the hospital
Thanks again, all of you, for all of the support. I do have a wonderful support system here, but no one who has been through this before so I love coming on here and voicing concern because the advice from all who have "been there" is priceless.
I have thought exactly what Lou has said, I used to live to eat, but now I feel I just eat to live. I did watch my whole family eat chinese buffet yesterday and realized how we do overdue it when we are allowed to and it made me sad. I also was happy to not feel left out while they were doing it, I didn't feel it was anything I was missing. They will begin to realize (or at least my girls) that buffets will be a thing of the past in our life and healthy home cooking is the way we will be going. They love to cook so this will hopefully be fun for them.
So glad to hear that I will feel better and not disabled as I do now after the drain is removed. Come on June 4th!!! LOL!
