WHATS HAPPENING TUESDAY

Welll wasn’t Monday wet a yucky all day long? Don’t know how much you all got but we got a total of 1 ½ inches since Sunday afternoon noon.

My granddaughter and hubby and the two sweet ones came down to see us.... im telling you what those are some sweet babies. Oh they are full of life and always thinking of things to do but they are sweet too . and basicly good babies. When they got out of the car they came right to me and give me big ole kisses and hugs and I wuv yous....lol nothing like sweet arms and sweet kisses lol ....the 4 year old has a joke now and he about cracks up at it... the old knock knock joke about  whos there it is Boo  and boo hoo.....then he says all the time while trying not to laugh his silly self off the chair...dont cry its just a joke lol  he gets so tickled that he is slapping his knee and giggling and laughing  of course it is funny when he does his little antics....then because you are laughing at the 4 year old the  little one tries to do it too....she will say something like who crying.....its a joke...and she will bend over and laugh and get all excited too . lol

Can you tell I love being with them ...i laugh a lot when they are here. Such fun.

 

So what did you all do for Memorial day.....like I said the kids came down, we were going to cook outside but all it did was rain , rain , rain , and then it rained some more. So we cooked inside hamburgers and hot dogs , I fixed potatoe salad and deviled eggs the four year old thought that was a funny name..and had a giggling fit,,,, he is so funny but I worry about him I really think there is something wrong...and I hate to think it but he is four or almost 4 and refuses to use the potty  his speech is really really bad , no one can understand him , it isn’t just one  sound that he cant do it is everything. Almost any way...and his inability to run. He is a big boy and runs like with arms and legs going like a windmill.  His little sister who is 2 explains what he is saying some of the times. . I just hate to think that there is something wrong with him but I have this gut feeling there is. There are times that he is completely in his own world. And you have to really get loud or touch him to get him to answer you. So anyone out there that deals with child development can you  or do you maybe have some answeres? He is a loving child. He likes to cuddle and doest mind you touching him. I wonder if it is autisium or a form of such.

 

Well didn’t mean to get so serious there. But I worry about him ....

 

 

SANDY::::: you have gotten two really good ideas about excess tomatoes. And both are some good ones,. They are excellent frozen like that are great used in stews or soups.  I froze several bags of cherry toms like that and  loved having them .

 

Sounds like you had a great birthday. sorry I didn’t know about it sooner....hope you have many more of them.it is nice what we can do now compared to what we could do....amazing difference isn’t it.

I have so much chives, I keep trying to give some of it away. I can use it fast enough. Do you freeze it or what?  I cant keep up with mine. Every year it gets more and more and bigger and bigger. I love it but you can only use so much of it. lol

 

 

 

COLLETTE::::: so good to see you online again.  so you no longer work at all huh? I guess you are now in your most important nursing roll of your life aren’t you?

Im really sorry that your husband has gotten much worse.  I will keep you bot h in my prayers that the 52 years will continue and that your lives will continue together for many many more. Love you my friend.and angel.  

 

 

SUGAR:::::I  went over to the sale barn out here Saturday to look and see if they had any old luggage. But didn’t find any... will keep my eyes open for you ok?

I have no idea how to do the cd....email Steve and ask him he can tell you ...i don’t think it will be that hard. Or at least wont be that hard for hinm to explain it lol

So did you find out what you wanted to at Roaring River. That is a pretty place over there isn’t it.  My family all had Thanksgiving dinner over there once. At the restaurant there was really good food.

Hey was going to ask you about some of the pretty Rooster figurines’ when you get  done with them let me know and I will buy some of them from you. I need a few more lol no really I do.

 

 

SUSAN::::: the resale shop here is only open on Saturdays....but they have a lot ...and they are really cheap...so is a good place to get stuff and then just give it back to them lol

I use them a lot when I was going down the scale fast.

Seemed like almost every week I was taking stuff back and getting new. On Wednesdays they have people over there but only to take new stuff in ...

 

 

POOH BEAR::::  that was cool to have a camp out in the back yard. That is fun . my kids and I use to do that when they were young...We couldn’t afford to go many places so it was the back yard

I have a small trampoline, that I jump on , it really helps your legs . and your stamia and core muscles too.

That is neat doing the music for your Christmas display. Hope Gail reaches his goal.

 

 

TAMMY-AMMY:::: wow sounds like you have been having lots of fun doing so much with your house. That is great that you have some free help to do some some of the labor.

Hope you have a lot of fun doing all of that. I know I do. Is so much fun to me.

 

Im glad that you aren’t having problems with your hernia. That was bad I know...just take care and down do more than you should.

 

Oh wow I know you are worried about Ada but trust in God and let him handle it all. I know it is hard to not worry but don’t borrow trouble ....it might not be a whole lot to it.

And there might be but it wont help to worry about it. ...we  will pray for her and the Bible says were 2 or more are joined together and I know we will have more than that praying for her. ...also your grannie and Joes mom .......take care of yourself. Go rest in that new pool and relax some ok?

Good morning to all.hope everyone had a good 3 day weekend.we sure did get a lot of rain here.hope the rest of the week is better.andy and i just did some thing's around here.he made me some shrimp sauteed with a onion.it was really good.

jan sound's like you had fun with the grandbabies.they sure do grow up fast.thank's for the information on the resale shop.i will have to go there some sat.i am buying pant's and wearing them maybe 2 time's and they are too big on me already.

pooh bear sure sound's like you had fun out in the tent.when andy and i went camping our tent had a top on it that was flat.so when the rain hit there we were 200am in the morning knocking the rain off the top so it would not give in.the rain did come inside some and the next morning we were wet waist down.we had lot's of fun.

sandy when our plant's do give tomatoes we are going to make some thing's out of them.andy love's salsa.there are soo many thing's you can make with them.

tammy we are glad you have no new problem's with your hernia.sound's like you have been busy.how are your grandbabie's doing?are you spoiling them?that is what you are supposed to do.

Good morning!  I hope everyone had a great weekend!  We had a good very busy weekend.  I closed the house on Friday, then we had friends over for a bbq, then went to a bbq on sunday, yesterday Gage and I went to the mall, then it was my friends 40th birthday so we went out to dinner, then I met some friends at buffalo wild wings to say goodbye to a girl I used to work with that's moving to Florida.  Very busy but fun long weekend.  When Gage ( that's my son) and I were at the mall I decided to get some new jeans, I had some Levi's size 14, trying them on and guess what, I need a 12!!!! OMG!  I was so excited, he said mom I can't believe you are that small LOL.  I saw a friend of my daughters and she looked right at me and walked by, I said your not even going to say hi, teasing her and she said do I know you? LOL Its Jades mom Lou, she was like OMG! I didn't even recognize you.  I've been getting that alot lately.  Its funny when you see yourself everyday you know you've lost weight but I guess I haven't gotten it yet that I look like a whole new person.  Pretty crazy to wrap your head around.  I'm going the first week of June to get new head shots for my business cards, I hand them to people and they say who's this..so I guess its time for some new ones. ;)  We bought the new game for the Wii, its called Active Personal Trainer.  OMG!  It kicks my butt.  You do all these different excercises and lunges. I can hardly walk lol.  Great workout, you have a trainer that does the work out with you, its crazy but after 30 min I'm ready to kill him. HAHAH!  Well I'm off to take Jade to school and I have two closings this week. YAY!  I hope everyone has a wonderful week! ;) Lou

Morning all....

Had a minute to pop in and let you all know I was still alive...haha.  After working 12 days straight hubby had a 3 day weekend and kept me busy.  Saturday was car chores and such, Sunday was my family get together in Howard KS.  3 1/2 hours there and 3 1/2 back so it was a long day.  Then yesterday was supposed to be more car chores but the rain kept up all day so we went out and ran around.  Managed to find him some more work jeans and I found a nice fleece pullover on clearance.  Hilarious to buy warm clothes but you all know what it is like to be cold all the time.  So I'm tired and glad he's back to work.

His aunt had her repeat shoulder surgery last Friday but another neice came up and has taken care of her this time.  She leaves today.  I told Mark I just didn't have the emotional strength this time around.  His mom's sale did me in and I am super detached lately.  I was beginning to get close to emotional shutdown, you know...crawl in the hole and bury my head.  But I have come to far in my counseling to allow that to happen.  But I sure wanted to do it.  So I may check in on her a few times this week but I don't have to go sit with her and I am so thankful for that!

Still no word on the strike.  This is worse than the actual strike.  I never know if our health, eye or dental insurance is going to be in effect so I can't make any appointments until the 1st of the month.  Then I don't even know if we'll have any coverage in July.  That is when my surgery is scheduled and I really don't want to have to reschedule.  I have waited forever as it is. 

My trip to see my daughter is June 23 so a little less than a month and then she will be coming home with me for almost two weeks.  It will be good for us to have her around especially since her hubby is overseas.  Now I know his parents think she needs to go see them but she has already told them that she won't have time.  They just need to leave her alone.  I will have her plenty busy spending time with us and people that she couldn't get to see when they were home at Christmas.

I have other things that I need to get caught up on so I will get off of here.  Glad to see how you all are doing and should be back on the Eating thread tonight.  Love you all.

 Today was the first day I didn't have to worry about getting called in to work and so far I have done nothing. I have so much to do so its not a good thing. I had planned to go shopping but haven't even wanted to do that. Maybe tomorrow.
They say the weather should get better after today. I think it is going to cool off then get warmer and be sunny for a few days. Looking forward to that.

Jan - my grandson Jamie has a speech problem and is now in therapy.  He is 4 1/2 years old and his speech has improved so much since he started the therapy.  You want to start the therapy as soon as you can with children before they start school.  They say he needs at least another year of it.
