WHATS HAPPENING ---BOY I OVERSLEPT
Whew really enjoyed today, Not only is Wednesday hump day but wow Idol was so neat....I really expected Adam on there to win but Kriss Alan won ,,,,wow neat how about that. I think he was totally surprised to. I knew he was good enough to win but the judges just kept saying how Adam was the all around idol , that he was the best lol

I got most of the paper done in the guest house , during the sale of the centuruy I found this ivory colored paper with tiny little roosters on it. so it is perfect for the kitchen in the guest house. Will be just beautiful when I get everything done in there... .have some very pretty lace curtains for in there woven into the lace is hens and roosters.
Seems like today was just walking in mud, if you know what I mean. I couldn’t get much done...news.
Was going to get all of that trailer done and out of the way , now im another day behind.
We are having company this week end , I think and I wanted the trailer done. So today I could work on our house , and cleaning it up...i have really neglected it .

I need to clean house today...yuck. I've had the windows open so the dust is so thick that the cat is drawing graffitti in it. Stupid cat...that's we get for bringing him home from the 'hood.
Hope you don't overdo it today. I know how stressful it is getting ready for company. Just touch clean and refuse to turn on a lot of lights...that way they will never see the dirt. I told Mark how you call the stove Miss Peg....he said that fits. He reminded me how I loved that stove and now I know that somebody will love it as much as I did.
I loved that Shawn won Dancing! I know that Gilles was a natural but that little girl worked so hard and became a fantastic competitor the last 3 weeks. And I just like Mark Ballas. He deserved it, too. I don'****ch Idol but I think I like who won. I just can'****ch singers show off. It's the old woman in me, I guess. I just like straight singing....it's all that whoopin and swoopin and screeching that gets me. That's why I can'****ch it. yeah, yeah, I know...
Well, I need to get my old woman hiney in gear. My son in law left for Afghanistan yesterday for the third time. My daughter is doing well but now I need to make plans to go see her. So I imagine I will be doing some flight checking in between my housework today.

Good morning Jan & everyone!
Jan, I slept in this morning too. I think Lynn worked me too hard yesterday. lol I helped him mow the yard & did the weedeating. I think he's pretty excited that I'm able to help with stuff like that now. I got hurt & REALLY sunburned while helping & that stinks. While weedeating some wood slung up & stuck into my leg. OUCH!! & I havent been really out in the sun for any amount of time for several years, so I wanted to get a little sun & I wore a tank top. BIG mistake! My shoulders are so burnt. After I finished working, I layed out for a while also, but nothing got burnt except my shoulders. I hate sunburns. When I was younger, I never burned, just tanned. Why can't I still be like that?? Waaaaa! yes I'm being a Whiner, sorry.
I didn't get my walk in yesterday, helped Lynn instead. As soon as I get done on here tho, I'm gonna go ahead & get that in for today.

Overstaffed at 10:30 so here I am... will be 13 hours short for this week that is if I can work a full day tomorrow.
Dad is going to take me to Lakeside Casino at Oceola, IA Saturday for my birthday - I will be 56. I really want to say July 31st is now my birthday as thats when I started my new life with my RNY surgery.
Can't seem to get above 155 pounds these days even when I up my protein supplements. I tried on a pair of size 10 capris and they felt to uncomfortable - they looked ok - I think its pschological not wanting to wear a 10. I am happy with my 12's. Still can't find a happy size with my bra's - am sick of trying to find a comfortable one!
Went over to the garden last night and replaced 3 tomato plants and a couple of pepper plants. Had to replant some of the green beans also. Everything that was not up before the 4 & 1/2 inches of rain will probaly have to be re-planted as well. That includes my cylinder beets, carrots, spinach and swiss chard. The tomato plants I got at the farmer's market in Springfield are doing wonderful! Wish I had gotten more - LOL but at $4 a plant I had to control myself. At least I can save some seeds from them. Looks like we have over 12 dozen tomato plants in the ground so far with about 36 still not planted and 2 dozen pepper plants are waiting also. My kitchen garden is thriving and so is my melon patch. need to get some batteries in my camera so
I can take some pics of them for you all to see.

hey sis, being a sleep head huh?
Well this stinks but I had a small one of the attacks like I had with you that day...a****er aerobics. I went and laid down on one of the benches and it soon quit hurting and I never got sick..but almost felt like I was getting weak like jello and had that awful pain in my gut/chest! Anyway it quit and Im better! I wonder if that tells me that it isnt an ulcer since I take the ulcer meds every day? OHHHHHH that just burns my but that they cant tell you what is wrong with you.
Im coming down with all the gk's next week to see Peter Pan at the Mansion Theatre cause it is area appreciation show ($15) if you live in certain counties...cant wait for them to see it.
I am planning an around the world party for my JOY group...does anyone have any great ideas for me? I want to find some OLD suitcases to sit around...I will have 7tables set up for each of the countinents and we will visit a country at each...there will be food from that country to sample and everyone has to try it or they dont get their passport stamped...lol
I am going to try to find costumes for each country and as I move from each country I will change...Im asking them to dress as tourists! It should be fun! We will start in good ole USA in Republic MO with good ole american hamburgers (little mini ones) then fly to south america to Brazil and eating something spicy then to Antarctica for something frozen, Australia for a little shrimp on the barbie, asia to sample some su****hen africa for some tabouleh then on to europe and we may go to france and italy while there for some baget and gelto then back to the usa to finish off the trip with some apple pie
Each table will be decorated with things from that country. I have usa, asia, africa and france covered but I need a few things for the other places...that is the fun of planning tho, on the hunt for fun stuff at a bargain...lol
tomorrow we are all going to eat at golden corral in north sprfld' and I will pick 6 of the girls up that dont drive..we should have fun. then home again to a wedding at 2! crazy day!

oh ps, Ive got 2 responses to the reunion, so it isnt looking real likely that it will happen, We will wait and see!
