Wow what a ride

I havent been on here for a while.
I had my surgery March 23. all went ok with that part. I was released on Wednesday to go home and couldnt walk because of leg problems. I got home and it got worse. I was back in Columbia ER on friday with blood clots in both lungs and 1 leg along with acute gout in both knees and my right foot.
i got to stay there for another week or so. Now i am finally back to 1/2 days at work starting yesterday but still weak.
I have lost 73# from my highest since starting this ride.
I am having trouble keeping food down but really think it is because of learning to "start over again" learning how to eat.

wow you have been thru the wringer havent you?  the eating issue, if you are eating slow ,very slow, stopping between each bite and chewing and chewing and still throwing it up you might want to check with surgeon about it, could be something as easy to fix as a stricture.  sounds like you sure have lost lots of weight in a little over a month. wow....

Congrats on the weight loss, take care of yourself and keep sipping.  Call the doc if you don't get to feeling better.  Good luck and I hope all goes well for you.

 It will get better. You have been thru a lot. At least you are doing great on the weight loss. I hope you feel better soon.

thanks for the thoughts and well wishes!! it is getting better and yes i am "sipping" but there are those times i gulp and it dont take long to find out why you dont do that...... I guess i am hard headed but am learning with each bite and drink.
I go back to the Dr. next week and have many questions. i an not sorry about any of this as of yet and dont think i will be. just have to learn.
