VESTA::::: so far you and Barbara are the only ones that have said they are coming for sure to the boot camp....so you wont really need your trailer unless you just want too. Hopefully it will jump start us on weight loss again.

SUSIE::::: well did you survive today? Did the kiddos get out for recess...i admire you so much for teaching.. I could never do that, never.  Hope you can come down to the boot camp at least one day.....would love for you to be there more but one day is better than none.

SANDY::::: oh my gosh girl why so many tomatoes???? Do you all use that many? Do you always plant that many?  We  may have about 20 but  110 good grief.

Your dad sounds like an awesome guy...so I guess that is where you get it from huh?

Good Morning Mimi and MO

Oh Goodness! SOOOOOO long since I've posted.  And am only here for a day or so before I'm off again for a couple of weeks with both girls graduating.

I have to go way back to April 22nd when I went for my 6 month appt. It was a very good appt.  with all my labs being good except for Vit D was a bit on the low side... I have since added extra of that.  The good Dr. told me I was the model.  He was so encouraging of the exercise I have done... and other things as well.

The best part of that visit was getting to spend some time with Debbie Darl'n, her husband, and sons.  We went to hear her youngest son sing on the Plaza with his choral group... so neat to see young people active. David made the most WONDERFUL tenderloin on the grill!  It was simply FANTASTIC!  Deb, please thank your dear hubby again for his efforts when he did not feel well... I enjoyed it so much... and he was just sweet with his compliments of my progress. Her youngest son was even worried about me walking outside by myself... I think if he could of he would of come found me and walked with me!  Precious!  And... I was so proud of Deb... she walked 6000 of steps with me!  That's fantastic for not being used to it... we walked down town and back... it was a good wonderful time with her.... we did some shopping and guess what???  I bought MEDIUM exercise clothes!!!!  I was totally shocked... I fully expected to buy XL like other clothes I fit into right now 18's mostly... but because of the stretchy material and needing them to be tight on my legs I actually got into a medium... NEVER in my life have I wore a medium anything, stretchy material or not!!!!  I remember telling someone once that if they got into any size 8 it counted!  But now that I actually bought a medium anything it just won't compute in my mind... anyway that was an encouraging little side step... Deb and I went to some garage sales and got a few neat things too.... it was a wonderful time with her and her family... Debbie Darl'n you and your family are simply wonderful and thank you again for going to yet another appt. with me!  It means the very world to me... my goodness you have been there through the bad and the good!  How simply meaningful that is to me! I just don't know how to tell you properly.  It as nice to meet your momma at the sale too... she is a beautiful lady.

Then it was on home and right into the car and down to Paul's sisters for four days of painting... boy oh boy was that hard work... then home and two days to clean house and mow the yard that was knee high before Mimi and Sugar got here to go to the sale... I enjoyed having them with me as I do all of you that have come to spend time with me....

Then there was the "century sale"  everyone has said so much about... I received such blessing upon blessing upon blessing with the time I got to spend with Peggy and Mark! I got to know two very precious people!  My blessing for sure for sure for sure!  And I had such fun too! We had worked one of the days and they took me to a Mexican restaurant... it was simply delish but the best part was and Janet will be ever so envious of this... I got a ride in the "pony"!!! And the FRONT SEAT too! IT WAS GREAT.... Mark took off in that bad boy and his feet and hand did not stop shifting till he got to the end of the block... IT WAS THRILLING!!!!  Heck just hearing that precision machine start up was a rush!!!!

On Sunday we got up and went to church, I enjoyed that so much... a precious time for me for sure... after church it was time to go and finish cleaning up the rest of the tent and hopefully put an end to this for them... I was simply thrilled in my spirit that it was finally going to be over for them!  BUT...... and this was MAJOR fun... Mark had shown me his "bad boy" gun AK47... I had never even seen one before... and it WAS a "bad boy" gun, way cool!  Anyway as you know we blew up the chickens!!! It was simply thrilling... I originally wanted to shoot it just to say that I had... how many women do you know that have even shot one let alone let bullet after bullet RIP! OH GOLLY WOW WAS THAT FUN!!!! JUST PURE EXCITEMENT!!!!  Mark instructed me on how to use it and I took aim with the first shot and one of those chickens EXPLODED!!!!!! Then I did it again and another one EXPLODED... I missed the 3rd shot and then I just let that bad boy gun rip one bullet after another!!!!  Just like the movies!!!!!  Man!!! I'm simply all excited all over again here in my chair telling about it!!!!  Never in my life have I had fun like that destroying things!!!! ~tee hee

My time in Peggy and Marks home was simply precious to me!  They both made me feel so welcome and just took me right in.  I'm not used to being so comfortable in such a new place, I actually slept all night two nights! That NEVER happens to me! Sweet Peggy has a basket in her bath room all fixed up for guests that has little soaps and sample products just in case you forgot something!  WOW how thoughtful is that!!! one for the ladies and one for the gents!  AND she also has a ironing board and iron in the guest room!!!! She is a fantastic hostess... she kept asking me if I needed something and always concerned about what I needed when she was going thru so very much! I sure hope I was worth all that effort she put forth.... my time with them was for sure MY PLEASURE!!!!  I could just go on an on about them but most of all I am so very very happy this difficult trial is over and they can look forward to other things now!!! I pray they get the peace and rest they need so badly... and I know the Lord will provide.  I got to meet Peggy's momma too... she also is a beautiful lady!

I also greatly enjoyed the time I got to spend with Barb too, she is such a trooper!  Those hugs and all that chatting was wonderful!

So good to see Cor again too. MY GOODNESS SHE HAS CHANGED!  Cor, we will have to get together for lunch in the future.

I got home yesterday and got right to work on the things that I needed to do around here... we got tomatoes and things planted in the garden... then yesterday we continued... mixed all the dirt for my planting pots and Paul cut 25 decorative pieces for the sil's pergola and we put the primer on them.... boy was it a busy day!

Now in a day or two we will be off again, for Jo graduates on Sunday... we will go down Saturday to help her move and then be back home on Monday before we leave on Thursday for Texas for Crystal's graduation.  Then I think we are going to take a small family vacation... not sure just where yet... I have not even had time to research that out... I've been so busy...

But for today I have seeds and plants to get in the ground... and need to go to buy the rest of my bedding plants too... I will do that in the morning.  Laundry needs done and housework too... I'm not even going to look in the garage! ~tee hee

That about catches you up on my goings on... life has certainly not been boring around here for sure....

Mimi thank you so much for the plants!!! I am going to get them planted today... I may have to call you as I've forgotten what you said a couple of them were and I don't remember if they are sun or shade.... and we can talk about where you can meet us to pick up your statuary too... kay?

Sugar and Mimi I also want to thank you for the beautiful gifts you got me at the sale.... I especially LOVE the roses!!!!  Thanks again.

Have a good day all.

Hello everybody. I am up early as well this morning as I have school work to get done before classes end on Saturday. I go for my 1 month follow up tommrow. Can't wait to see what they tell me if I am doing good or if they are going to yell at me. I hope they smile and say good job.
Am really stressed. Took my mom yesterday to have her bladder re-checked for cancer. They did not find any new tumors but did go ahead and put some chemo in their just to make sure. But, he did find a mass on the outside of the bladder. It is too large to remove laprscope so next Wed she has to go to Boone Hospital and be opened up to get that removed. He does not think it is cancer but will not know till he gets in there. They normally give my mom a spinal since her lungs are not the best in the world. Well yesterday they knocked her out but they did not put the full tube in they put one in like they would for us-a shorter version. Anyway now this morning she is so congested I have all ready given her her puffer to use and she is laying back down with her oxygen on. So I am really worried what next weeks surgery will bring for us. We have to go back to the Mo Cancer Assoc next Friday so they can look at her as she is swelling on her left side again and her pcp thinks her hodgkins is become active again. So please pray for my mom.
This Sunday is Mother's Day so I will tell everyone now:
     HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY
So mainly today  I am going to be doing school work and watching, listening to my mom.
I do have a question though. Where is the best/cheapest place for me to get my bartaric vitm's at? I am having some money problems with being off work and all. Can anyone help me out and give me a clue please.  Thanks.
I hope everyone has a blessed day.

Love Ya,
 Becca

Becca like Jan said alot buy at walmart, thats where Susan and I get them, you just have to look and make sure your getting the proper Calcium and other ones.  We buy the Walmart Brand Equate of Calcuim Citrate, its pretty much the same as any name brand calcium, has the same amounts of everything in it.  We buy the Equate brand of multi-vitamin, it also is exactly the same as any name brand and both are cheaper.  In the others we buy the Spring Brand of Super B Complex, Vit C, Iron and Bioton, and most anything else we take, again they are comparablle too any name brand and much cheaper.  Im 2 1/2 years out and my labs have been just fine.  Hope that helps ya.

I am not sure how my interview went . They asked some tough questions . I am not good at describing myself especially my strengths and weaknesses. I do not know if I really want to tie myself down to a full time job even if its not full days,it would be five days a week. I figure if its meant to be it will be and if not I won't starve.
The kids at school are ready for summer break and it shows. My goodness they have energy. I do enjoy them though.

I made it to six months today and I am just shy of my personal goal for weight loss. I am close enough I won't complain. I am really noticing extra loose skin. I need to start saving for a face lift because I am turning into one big wrinkle.

Rain rain go away ,come again some other day. I wish for some sunshine so my seeds will sprout.

Have a great day everyone

Good Morning Auntie Jan and OH Peeps,

How is everyone today? Well, its hump day-so this week is officially half way over....and I am already so far behind!  I cant seem to stay ahead of my to-do list.....it sure is getting overwhelming-and the weeks that there are several doc appts-I HATE those weeks, as I hate going to the doctor and I hate waiting rooms etc......I feel like Im being robbed-LOL..seriously!

I havent posted since the meeting, so let me just say that it was sooooo great to see everyone! Lana, Jan, Sug, Andrew & Susan, Lou and mom, and I cant remember the name of the lady who is doing the fund raiser for her hubby-her name is right on the tip of my tongue-darn it! Everyone just looked wonderful!!!! awesome!  Renee too! LOL.....of course, there are only a couple of pounds between her and I-and I just dont see "me" being as small as her! LOL. Anyway, I enjoyed the hugs and seeing everyone.  Jon was being a handful that day, so my mom offered to watch him over in the library-I wished she could have stayed in and talked or listened. I know she would benefit so much from the surgery, just from the co-mos she has......so we have been talking about it.

I have an extremely busy next 2 months coming up. We have construction on the house and the morton building coming up too. So-we have Megans b-day on the 15th of this month, then Tiffs graduation from high school on the 16th, then my daughter Stephanie (YES SHE "IS" GRADUATING!!!!!  YAY YAY YAY) is graduating high school the 17th.  I then have Stephs graduation party, then my moms bday, then we have our family vacation. We are not going to be going on our cruise/Mexican resort just yet. Our travel agent had originally suggested we hold off on the cruise due to the pirate thing.....so then we decided to go to Cancun and stay at a resort for a week, all inclusive-and we were set to pay that on the 4th (monday).- well, Im glad that once again, we didnt-as there are NO refunds-just credits towards other trips!  Joe (travel agent) said that after all this is said and done with the Swine flu and all that, that going to Mexico will be dirt cheap! We are so bummed out about that!  We are going to Washington D.C. next month though. Mom has always wanted to go-and so we are doing that instead right now.

Darrels pretty excited too-he loves history and so I have had him doing history research and have him looking up our historical sights and helping make our agenda. The boys are really excited to be a part of the planning process and all of that. The only thing we have had to ax so far is that Jon wanted to take the train there-but that was way too expensive! LOL.....so maybe we can take a train ride one of these days, just not that far and all of that.

Well, I better get. I have a long list of things to get done today. I have a lot of calls to make today too.......and I may go and kidnap Renee to come and stay for a couple of days.....

**Jan-Im glad your grand-daughter finally got the clothes! Can you believe they were in my trunk at the Christmas party and I forgot to give them to you?

I know I havent been on-but when and where is boot camp? It looks like it may be the weekend of our graduations-so, that will leave me out-but maybe we can do another get together later in the summer. I am going to try to make it to Angies up north.  We are also planning our big sale for sometime in June, before we go to Washington. I will post before. Im not quite sure right now, as I was just informed yesterday that the siding that was ordered back in November has come in-and so they will be siding the house AND they will be moving everything from one side of Morton building to lay concrete flooring-right now its dirt and only one side is finished-so they have a lot going on out here-and I told them I wanted dates, because I went crazy and bought all kinds of decorations for the yard and plants etc and I cant do anything while they are working on the house-because of how they are going to throwing the siding around etc!

Joe was telling me that because of the rain you guys really havent had the time to ride-I hope you get time soon! Tell Uncle Joe hello and I will be emailing you soon!

Oh-before I forget-I DID IT....I did the wild thing with my hair...and Im not done yet. I just did step one. I colored it-I shouldnt tell you-I should make you wait to see it...LOL.,,.,but its called intense red. All over. That was step one. Step two is going to be honey blonde high lights-which will be this weekend.
Love ya bunches and thanks for all the hugs!

**Susan-woman-you look so WONDERFUL!!!! I would NOT have recognized you had you not been sitting by Andrew! I know its only been 4 months since I saw you last, but you sure have changed! You should be so proud of yourself!  What a wonderful supportive hubby you have too!  Im so happy for you, Susan! Your a wonderful lady and you deserve all the good things happening to you!

**Andrew-you look wonderful too!!! Just wanted you to know that I high five you for all the support you give Susan, even pre-op, doing the liquids with her-thats awesome!  It was great to see you!

**Sug-your looking good, as usual! LOL....was so good to see you, even tho you were mean to me about holding my very own grand daughter....gheesh, cut me some slack, she IS MY FIRST... Im not an expert in this area, like you are! LOL... Love you!

**Lou  (and mom)-it was great to see you! You look fantastic! Your mom is a good grandma-I can tell....(wink) she is a natural, thats for sure!  Well, so were you!  Cant wait to see you this month too!

**Lana-Is always good to see you! I love ya so much! Wished you could have gone with us after wards. Sure miss you!

**Bec-a MEDIUM? CONGRATS!!!!! CONGRATS!!!!! CONGRATS!
I am so very very happy for you!!!!

You sound like your as busy as we are!  Steph graduates the day after Renees daughter.....next weekend!  Good luck with that and congrats on both your girls!  Let me know where you decide to go.......Colorado sure sounds fun!  Is Crystal staying in TX? I couldnt remember if she was finishing her masters there?

I AM SO JELOUS YOU GOT A RIDE IN THE STALLION!!!!! PONY!!!!!! NO NO NO NO!!!! At least you enjoyed it!  AND....YOU got to shoot an AK47? I missed all of it!

Take it easy and I love you-Hope to see you soon!

**Peggy-Miss ya woman!  I want MY ride in the Stallion! I wanna shoot the AK.........When is it MY turn? LOL....I will be up there July 8th for the doctor... (hint hint...LOL).  Im glad your sale is over with. I sure wish I could have gone!

Hi everyone, we had a great Cinco de Mayo.  I went to a luncheon at a house in River Cut.  They do these to get realtors out to look and they can keep it in mind for a buyer.  They had Mexican food of which I didn't eat.  They also had a drawing for 50$ and out of about 70 people there I won.  I couldn't believe it when they called me.  Then a closing company threw a big party at Parlor 88, free maragritas, beer and lots of food.  I had a sip or two of a margarita.  Then from there we took Jade to Amigos and I had some grilled shrimp.  All and all it was a busy but fun day and everyone enjoyed it.  Today I had to go to the Gynocologist.  que sad music.  Noone likes that appt.  I told my daughter this am that I was going to see him and she said HIM, there are guy doctors that do that? LMAO!  um yeah she's so funny.  He said I was distustingly healthy LOL, I've known him for 17 years.  He couldn't believe how much weight I'd lost.  I never really think about it until I see someone that I haven't seen in a long time and they are shocked.  Then its like WOW I really must look different.  Its a beautiful day today and I hope everyone is enjoying it!  Lou =)
