WHATS HAPPENING SUNDAY besides rain?????

Happy wet day !!! good grief will it ever stop? But our garden that we do have in is growing really good.  Need to have a couple of rain free days so we can get the weeds out of there tho. And get some other things planted.

 

Peggy I hope that your sale today finished up with a bang and you got rid of a lot of stuff.

Call all sorts of places that deal with things given to them and tell them that they need to come out and can get as much of it as they want ....then you all can claim it on your income tax. Bless your heart I know you are going to be so glad when all of this is over with.   Hope you can come down and go to thru the book camp with the other girls.  You can ride down with Barbara S.  she is coming down on the 18^th early in the morning. Would so love to have you and love you back to health. Vesta is suppose to be with us too. don’t know if there is anyone else that wants to come but if they do they need to let us know. I have room in the trailer for  5 and have 2 spots spoken for....well that is 5 if you don’t mind sharing a queen size bed lol

If you do you can bring your own air mattress or what ever.

 

 

Sugar: if you can find out what the charge for the place up at the lake of the Ozarks  is..the one where the men or on one side and women on other ...see if there is a  certain amount of people that we have to have etc. then if you can get money paid up front you can go ahead and rent it for the reunion....that way we will see if people really want to have a reunion...if they will commit to it by putting up the money then we will know. Ok.

We sure had fun these past few days didn’t we?  Im still baffeled and amazed about all that they had.

Bec , how you feeling...hope things went really good today for you and Peggy. Love you girl and so glad that you have the time to be with her for a few days. Cor where did you go to Thursday? You were there and then you were gone. ???? I thought maybe I had just missed seeing you cause you are so tiny now...but I looked and looked and you were gone. Sure was good to see you again., what there is of you.lol

 

Debbie D. how did the boy scout garage sale go.? Wish you could have stayed longer than you did....Did you get back over there with your mom to Peggys? Get any good bargains? I know you did , that is all she had...

 

Susan: it is good to be home again even if I did have a really good time. sure wish you could have been with us....you would have had a ball up there.....it was just hard to decide if I wantd to buy this or that.  I sure wish this weather would clear up so we can get into the garden....it is growing really good but so is the weeds lol...we will get it done tho.

Susie , thanks for keeping us updated on Lynette and her hubby. Don’t  know what happened to him but know that we are praying for him.

So have you got you closet cleaned our now, I really wish you could have been at that sale you would have gone nuts too. there was just so much....so much.

 

How do you all like my baby sisters new picture? Isn’t she a beauty? Of course im not prejudice/

 

 It is cold up here. We didn't have rain yesterday but lots of clouds and cold air.I planted all my seeds, mostly in pots. I sure hope I get some flowers out of them. I went to Lowes and bought some plants also. I want to make sure the hummingbirds have flowers. I saw two at the feeder yesterday. I enjoy watching them and they drive my cat crazy. I keep my pots close to house where she can watch the birds.
I was supposed to meet friends at Silver Dollar City today but we postponed because of the weather. I am glad it would have been miserable in the cold rain. I didn't go down there at all last year but got season passes this year. I guess I missed the world fest. Today is the last day for it.
I don't think I can make it to boot camp. I am working more than I expected so close to the end of school. I got two more calls yesterday scheduling me. If I can I will try to come down for one day. 

I am planning to do the reunion  if at all possible. DO you have ant dates picked?

The sale is OVER!!! Was really glad to see it end but sad at the same time. I am really tired but its a good tired. I had so much fun. I think that was the most enjoyable work I have ever done. It gives my heart such a jump to help people I really care about and who couldn't care about Peggy, Mark and Matt, what a wonderful family. They sold so much, you wouldn't believe it Jan, it actually looked like a regular big sale when I left. LOL  Only those who came to the sale would understand that statement. There were a lot of people that said it was the most fun sale they had ever went to,  although one person said "At the really good sales they serve hot dogs and drinks" What were we chopped liver? We didn't even have time to eat most of the time let alone COOK it!!! LOL It was so great to see you all. Are you unloaded yet? LOL

Peggy and Mark has decided to call an auction house and have them pick up the remainder of what they don't want to donate. They have some places they want to donate things to.

Thanks for the compliment Jan, that is something I can now tell people who ask about the surgery, it took me from a sloth to the energizer bunny!  LOL

Susan and Andy, I missed seeing you.....so sorry you couldn't come.

Good morning to all.hope everyone is staying dry.it has been raining here since last night non stop.they said we should get a break on monday and tuesday.we hope soo.the garden is good and wet now.

we are going into town on tuesday for my dad's birthday.we will have lunch with him.andy and i are going to take something we can eat.dad just like's having us there with him.if it is not raining we will take him outside and sit with him for a little while.he loves to sit outside.

jan soon as this rain quit's we will help you in the garden.i am sure we will have lot's of weed's to pull by then.the grass is growing also.

sugar your new picture look's great.sound's like you and your sister had a good time at peggy's.now you can have fun putting everything away.

barbara how is baby doing?i am sure she missed you while you were at peggy's or did she go with you.we are looking foward to seeing you soon.

Good morning everyone, I'm still alive! I have just been super busy like everyone else.  Real Estate has gone full force, I now have 3 closings in May and a 4th if the bank accepts our offer, which I think they will.  So you can imagine how busy its been getting all this lined up. I'm so very thankful I'm busy. I hope this is just a glimps of what summer has instore.  Jade( my daughter )and I are going to Florida in July to visit my best friend from high school.  She lives in Tampa and we will go to Universal, sea world and the beach.  I'm so excited to be able to ride all the rides and go to the beach and not be the fattest person there.  We went out with some friends last night and Frank and I were buying music at the juke box and he said to me, its like we're 20 all over again.  This is the best.  He said you have so much energy, you look hot and since he's lost 35 lbs he feels better too.  I thought this was all very sweet for him to say.  Today getting close to 7 months post op I'm feeling very blessed.  My health, my job, my family, great kids, what more could a girl ask for?  Thank you Jesus for allowing me to have this surgery.  It was years in the making and everyday I appreciate it even more than the day before.  I hope everyone has a GREAT day! Hello all! Jan sure aint lyin when she tells you that Peg's sale was the best ever sale! And seeing everyone up there was great!

Sis, I will see what I can find out about the place and see what we will have to have down as a deposit for one of the lodges. It will depend on how many we have I think and how much the rooms are, but I will try to get it lined out and give you a # or maybe I can come down on the night of the 18? Who knows, I have to plan the fish fry for the mission trip too! UGH!!!! what else can I do???? I dont think Im busy enough! lol!

Well, Rick and I dressed in our western wear and went to teach SS this morning and then left to go to our kids church for Wild West Day...it was really great! But we left about 1:30 cause we got so cold! They sure had good singing, preaching and great food...When we arrived our youngest grandson was out at the gate directing traffic...the 8 year old toothless traffic director! Thier church puts everyone to work...it is really neat! 2 other of my gk were in skits and of course so was my son! He was carrying around a six shooter and told everyone it was time for the offering...at gun point! lol! It was just a great time! There was also 7 people accepted Christ! WOW! What a great service!

I need to get but I just wanted to let Becky know how much I appreciated her and Paul's hospitality. You sure made me and sissy feel welcome. Your home is adorable..almost as cute as you!

Man oh Man what a week and weekend!!!!! Work, Work, Work and more work....lol Can ya tell Im a week out from everyone coming in for Graduation...lol
Still tring to finish up on the Bathroom and then getting everything reorganized from the winter months and then trying to get the yard and phew....Im Beat!!!!
I had a awesome time seeing everyone at Peggys sale....got me a whole bunch of stuff for me and my daughter...lol DH's like oh crap now what ya going to do with all that!!! LOL not to worry I will find spots for everything....If I would have had more room I would have bought more!!!
Peggy....girl I sure hope to high heaven that your resting and pampering yourself today and the through out the upcoming week...you have got to be exhausted...your posts dont do justice to what you have been through getting ready for this sale....they were definatly an understatement...I dont know how you did it girl!!! It was Great to see ya again....next time will have more time to just sit and relax and talk....k

Well gotta get back to work in the house....still got to put another coat of paint on the ceiling and repaint the walls in the bathroom....then start on the kitchen and basement and garage.....man Im beat....good thing I have a B-12 shot coming up...lol
