Question for the ladies

Just wondering if anyone else has had issues with your weight loss stopping during that time of the month. I weighed in last week at the Dr's office. Had lost 37 lbs as of today still was only at a loss of 37 lbs. I am hoping it was because it is that time of the month for me. I used to have the issue of the water gain and swelling, but didnt think it would put me at a halt. I have been doing the diet and kicked up the exercise and nothing. It finally went away today so I am hoping to see the scale moving down again soon. I guess I should look at the positive. I didnt gain. But I only see a stall of almost 2 weeks.

I am so frustrated, before the surgery I would lose 20 lbs then stop. I dont want to stop losing, not after all of this and the fact I am feeling better. Please someone tell me the weight loss will begin again.

You won't stop losing. I had a four week stall early out and it really discouraged me. I did start losing again even though I was afraid  I wouldn't. Its normal to gain around that time of the month so don't get to upset. I have passed the point where I always stopped in the past so I am a believer the surgery will work for anyone.

Thanks for the input. It is greatly apprecaited and has brought me relief. I will just keep plugging away at it and hopefully the scale will start to show some changes again.

Thanks again ladies!!! Have a great weekend!
